R2 Bed and Pool Kanchanaburi Reviews

R2 has an amazing comfy bed, if you choose the one king size room, the mattress is great, very soft and comfortable. Hotel locates right near the street, opposite of a school, might be bit noisy in the morning. Service is great, staffs really friendly. Breakfast is simple but enough, and there's bit fruit. And the bedside little tables, is bluetooth charger and speaker! Great stay.

This is a great hotel, clean and reasonably priced, close to eateries and easy to get to interesting places. Highly recommended.

We preferred a room with a king-size bed. They no longer had one so we got an upgrade for free.

The hotel feels like it was recently renovated, but built to a “nice” guesthouse level rather than an actual hotel. My room was on the second floor after having to request to change from the 4th floor - with no elevator. The room was not very clean, hair on the floor and signs of mold in the bathroom. The shower had good pressure and hot water and the room was specious with a good strong air conditioner. I’ve stayed for 3 nights and my room was never cleaned. Granted I didn’t specifically ask for cleaning service, but clean towels and a top up on toilet paper would have been nice. They did leave 2 bottles of water by my door each afternoon which was nice. There’s a smart TV in the room (I never turned it on so not sure about programming) and a cute swimming pool outside. Breakfast is very basic, choice of 2 Thai pork dishes and some toast. If you’re a vegetarian, you better not count on this breakfast. Location is very convenient. About 20 minutes walk from the bridge and war museum and 5 minutes walk to nightlife and restaurants. They have plenty of parking on a private lot by the side of the hotel. This is not a riverside resort, you don’t see the river from the windows, although the river is very close. Overall a positive experience and good value for the price. 8/10.

Nice, quiet and comfy little place walking distance from all the bars, restaurants, 7-11s, etc. Will happily stay again.

Everything Good

Very good, clean, quiet, convenient, everything is very good. We went as a family, parking is convenient, breakfast is delicious, near 7-Eleven.

This is a small, compact family hotel, newly renovated with modern touches like a wireless charging Bluetooth speaker and nightstand. The bedding was comfortable, the small pool was clean, and the breakfast, while limited in variety, was adequate. It's also close to the River Kwai.

The room was clean and tidy. The pool downstairs was great. It was also very close to the River Kwai Bridge, so you could walk there after dinner. The breakfast the next day was also good. Luggage storage is available.

I really liked this hotel, very pretty and clean. The service was top notch! The young girl at the reception was incredibly adorable. She helped me a lot with my activities, professional and available. I will stay in this hotel again if I come back to Kanchanaburi 😊😊

Clean hotel for a night's stay. Comfortable mattress and there is a swimming pool. Not very convenient that the entrance to the hotel itself is by card

The accommodation is in a good location. The staff is very nice. The bed is soft and comfortable. The swimming pool is great.
