"A very satisfying stay. Located in Yanzhou Ancient City, it's very convenient to visit the attractions within the city. The ancient city wall offered a unique view of the misty, rainy scenery characteristic of Jiangnan! The hotel was clean and tidy, and very quiet even at night!"

"My experience was really bad. I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM on the 2nd, and was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait. They didn't call me until after 3 PM to say I could check in. Throughout this, there was no mention of compensation for the delay beyond the standard check-in time. Only after I threatened to complain to Trip.com did the hotel offer an upgrade to an executive twin room. In the room, there was hair on the headboard and pillows, and the shower leaked, flooding under the sink and into the bathroom. All the towels in the room were wet and couldn't even dry anything, so I had to call the front desk for someone to mop it up. I later found out the shower curb was higher on the inside and lower on the outside, causing the water to flow out – something the hotel admitted was an engineering issue. The next day, I spoke to the front desk, and they offered to change my room. However, the new room had noticeable stains in the sink that hadn't been cleaned, a strange smell in the bathroom, and no lotion provided. Staying at this hotel felt like opening a blind box, never knowing what extra or missing items you'd get. The staff were genuinely nice and apologized immediately when issues arose, but new problems just kept popping up. It really doesn't feel like an international brand hotel."

"The hotel offers DIY activities. We made soap, leaf specimens, and lacquered fans. My kids loved feeding the animals; there were sika deer, lambs, and calves. They also enjoyed the stream trekking, especially since the water quality was decent, and they even caught loaches!"

"The service was very attentive and polite, with smiling staff everywhere. The environment is great; you step right out into a forest with many birds. Upon check-in, they proactively upgraded us to a lake-view villa. It was filled with the sounds of birds and blooming flowers, and there was even a cute little cat outside the house that I fed some meat, hehe. After waking up, I took a walk on the wooden boardwalk. The air was incredibly fresh, and I even got to photograph some birds. There's also an observation deck where you can see the beautiful distant mountains. Breakfast was just average, but everything else was excellent."

"This is a diving-themed hotel, probably unique in China. It's newly opened, so I decided to try it out. The hotel is located on the banks of the Xin'an River in Jiande, and it covers a large area. There are many activities available, including diving, surfing, rock climbing, diving, a bowl pool, and grass skiing. The diving pool is likely open in the summer, with 3-meter and 5-meter platforms for direct entry into the Xin'an River. Diving is the hotel's main attraction, with a maximum depth of 41.5 meters. Beginners can try 5-10 meters. Surfing seems to be available on demand. Overall, it's very good. The rooms are newly renovated and have a slight odor."

"Environment: The room opens the door facing the lake view. Pushing the balcony door is a gentle evening in the south of the Yangtze River. The water surface reflects the sunset and pavilions, like living in an ink painting. The light in the room was particularly comfortable. The evening glow came in through the window, and the whole person slowed down. Service: The boss sent a local specialty gift, very pleasantly surprised, and delicious 😋 Next door is the restaurant opened by the boss. It tastes good and the fish is delicious. Facilities: The bed sat down and got up a little bit. It may be a long time since the wooden system. It is obvious that the socket on one side is a bit difficult to plug in at night. I forgot to give feedback to the boss."

"Jiande is a great place! I met a wonderful owner who helped with travel advice and recommended the fish restaurant. Every dish was delicious. The hotel and accommodation were also excellent. The auntie's breakfast was fragrant every day, and the bedding was comfortable. The sunset views from the surrounding fishermen were beautiful. I tried bream tofu soup for the first time. It was absolutely amazing! No fishy taste at all, just incredibly sweet and fresh. I hope to have the chance to come back again. Thank you, owner! See you again sometime!"

"It's a self-service, flat-roof Airbnb. In April, the room had a lot of mosquitoes, but there were no mosquito coils. I wanted to watch TV, but there was no remote. Being self-service basically means you can't find anyone to solve problems; you have to figure it out yourself."

"This is my second time staying at your hotel. The scorching summer is the best time to go to Jiande where the temperature is 17°C for a summer vacation. The booked room is right next to the river, and you can see the clear Xin'an River flowing slowly from the room. Sitting in the room and drinking tea, you can watch the beautiful mountains and clear waters, the rolling clouds and the relaxing clouds, which is very pleasant. The room design is full of Jiangnan charm, spacious and bright. The service in the hotel is very pleasant. Fresh fruits are delivered every day. The waiters are always smiling when I see them. Especially the sister He Yuanyuan at the front desk is warm and kind. The service is attentive and meticulous. It makes me feel like I am at home. The hotel is in a good location, and it is also very convenient to go to the riverside to enjoy the cool weather. There are many delicious little restaurants nearby. If you go there, be sure to order the Jiande-style fish head stew in white soup. The hotel has a lot of free parking spaces, suitable for self-driving travel. A very nice and quiet vacation experience."

"Yesterday, we checked into the Lavande Hotel in Jiande. Upon arrival, the two young ladies at the front desk, Ms. Xu and Ms. Wang, warmly greeted us, upgraded our room, and helped with our luggage, making us feel very welcome. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast was quite good. I will continue to like Lavande Hotels as always."

"I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out! The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking. The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!"
