"The courtyard was quite nice; we played cards by the river for a while. There was a walking path nearby where you could go for a stroll. In the evening, an older man came along. At first, I was amazed at how quickly he could catch a fish after casting his line. After a few times, I realized he wasn't fishing; he was hooking fish by the tail! He'd sneakily hook a fish by the tail and pull it up. He rode his electric scooter back and forth, searching for schools of fish, catching one fish after another with each hook. I had been praising him for his skill, but I was speechless."

I highly recommend Yanjiang Huayi!"

"Environment: The room opens the door facing the lake view. Pushing the balcony door is a gentle evening in the south of the Yangtze River. The water surface reflects the sunset and pavilions, like living in an ink painting. The light in the room was particularly comfortable. The evening glow came in through the window, and the whole person slowed down. Service: The boss sent a local specialty gift, very pleasantly surprised, and delicious 😋 Next door is the restaurant opened by the boss. It tastes good and the fish is delicious. Facilities: The bed sat down and got up a little bit. It may be a long time since the wooden system. It is obvious that the socket on one side is a bit difficult to plug in at night. I forgot to give feedback to the boss."

"The environment and facilities were excellent, and the location was great too, right across from the Xin'an River. It was lovely to walk along the riverside path. We traveled by high-speed rail, and it was quite convenient, about a 30-minute taxi ride. The only issue was that the shower water temperature fluctuated, especially on the second night, it was quite noticeable. The breakfast was very good with a rich selection, including some local specialties. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"This hotel has a great overall vibe, it's very quiet and built around a lake. They have a fantastic swimming pool that's perfect for kids, quite large with separate areas for children and adults. There's also a hot spring upstairs. The location is excellent, very close to the old town, just a short walk away, and parking is super convenient. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are kept spotless. Breakfast is also plentiful. It's definitely worth staying here, and I'd love to come back again if I get the chance."

"Facilities: The hotel facilities are very good, with many smart controls, which is very convenient. Hygiene: The room is clean and tidy, and the quilt cover and pillowcase are just like new. "Environment: The location is very good, about 300 meters away from the Xin'an River. It is also very beautiful to go to the riverside at night to see the night view, especially the night view of Baisha Bridge, which is also worth seeing. Service: Superb! The girl at the front desk is warm and attentive, and the service is thoughtful. She also upgraded the room for free, which makes me feel at home. The most praiseworthy thing is the hotel's breakfast, but it's a pity that I forgot to take pictures. Breakfast is from 7 to 9:30, and the variety is quite rich. There are three or four small cold dishes, peanuts, fried eggs, milk, soy milk, white rice porridge, pumpkin porridge, hot dishes include fried celery with dried tofu and fried bean sprouts, and the staple food is small steamed bread, small steamed buns, and Jiande specialty tofu buns. The tofu buns are really worth recommending, especially at breakfast. The aunt said that the tofu buns are tofu bought in the morning, wrapped and steamed, and they taste really warm! Thank you to the aunts who work hard for the guests' breakfast, thank you! A very recommended hotel, with a high cost performance, really good!"

"The service was very attentive and polite, with smiling staff everywhere. The environment is great; you step right out into a forest with many birds. Upon check-in, they proactively upgraded us to a lake-view villa. It was filled with the sounds of birds and blooming flowers, and there was even a cute little cat outside the house that I fed some meat, hehe. After waking up, I took a walk on the wooden boardwalk. The air was incredibly fresh, and I even got to photograph some birds. There's also an observation deck where you can see the beautiful distant mountains. Breakfast was just average, but everything else was excellent."

"This is my second stay at this hotel, and it offers great value for money. It's highly recommended for families with kids; the playground is very clean and not too crowded. All the necessary facilities are available, and the service is good. It's also pet-friendly – highly recommended! ✅ **Ambiance:** Absolutely amazing, with great views. For the same price, this hotel offers excellent value, plus it's in the city center, making transportation and food delivery very convenient. Even though it's in the city center, it's quiet at night, which is a big plus. **Cleanliness:** The cleanliness is also good, and the pool is very clean. **Facilities:** All the facilities are new. **Service:** The service is attentive and responsive. Overall, five stars. It's truly a hotel with fantastic value for money."

"Environment: The hotel is located in the very center of the ancient town, only a 5-minute walk from the city gate and the riverbank. It has its own parking lot with plenty of spaces, which is very convenient. Facilities: The rooms are fully equipped, clean, and tidy. Service: The tofu buns and meat buns at breakfast were especially delicious!"

"Loved our family room—amazing lake and island views, quiet, with a great balcony. Big towels, clean bedding, and a fridge were nice touches. The lakeside dock, restaurant and picnic areas were perfect for swimming, eating and relaxing. Downsides: The pool (filled with cloudy slimy lake water) and its rundown messy area weren’t appealing. Hallway carpets and elevator had mold, needing deep cleaning. Still, great value for the location. Don’t really need the pool with the lake so close. We’d return but hope they address the maintenance issues."

The nearby Meizhou Ancient Town and Daci Rock are also great options!"

"Our room was suite 1201 on the 12th floor. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered a beautiful view of the Xin'an River. The only problem was the orientation, as rooms along the river face west. So, in the summer afternoons, it was incredibly hot, making it almost impossible to open the curtains. But in the mornings, the view was stunning. The room was quite clean, though it lacked a refrigerator. There was a bathtub, but surprisingly, no tub cover was provided. Overall, it was a good stay and I'd definitely stay again."

"I specifically chose the Brettonwood Resort for my trip to Qiandao Lake this time, and the overall stay exceeded my expectations – it was absolutely fantastic! Our butler, Mei Mei, was incredibly attentive and deserves a special shout-out! The hotel's location is excellent; I could enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views right from my window. In the mornings, there was a beautiful mist, and in the evenings, gorgeous sunsets. The scenery was truly breathtaking. The front desk staff were warm and patient, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. Any requests were handled promptly. The resort grounds are serene and elegant, with lush greenery and even a petting zoo. The kids absolutely loved feeding the peacocks, ducks, bunnies, foxes, raccoons, and piglets. It's also very pet-friendly. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, especially the noodle and vermicelli station with a wide selection of condiments. They even had homemade chili and ginger, which was a real treat for spice lovers. Parking for self-drivers is convenient, and it's particularly well-suited for family vacations. This will be my top choice for Qiandao Lake; I'll definitely be back!"
