"Coconut Village Resort is quite good in terms of both location and cleanliness. It's close to the beach. There's also a 7-Eleven store outside the hotel. Bangla Market is 1 km away. I'm a little disappointed with the management because I booked two rooms about a month and a half ago. I had two children with me, but they gave us separate rooms. According to the booking, they should have reserved the adjacent room for me.Rooms 110 and 113 are both in the same direction and a short walk down the stairs. I requested a room as well, but they said there were no rooms available. So it's the management's fault."

"The hotel is advertised as having a gourmet restaurant, but in my opinion the food did not quite meet gourmet standards. That said, we booked a sea-facing unit and the view was absolutely magnificent — very peaceful and calming. Kamala Beach in general is a quieter area, which we really appreciated. There is a shuttle service provided, but the timing is quite limited. Given the price guests pay for this hotel, it would be better to have more frequent shuttle services instead of fixed timings. That said, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the main street where there are many shops and restaurants, so it is still manageable. One issue we faced was that there was no clear sign or button in the room to indicate housekeeping service, and as a result, we ended up not having housekeeping during our stay. The phone line in the room also needs attention, as there was noticeable disturbance noise when calling reception. Overall, it is a nice place to stay with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere, but there are some service and maintenance areas that management could improve further."

"We recently spent a wonderful few days at Kalima Resort and had an exceptionally pleasant experience. The service truly stands out. We were able to check in around 1 PM, even though the official check-in time was 3 PM, which was a very welcome relief after our journey. All the hotel staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. You can feel the high level of service and a genuine desire to make guests' stays comfortable. The breakfasts here are simply magnificent – some of the best we've had in Thailand. There's a huge selection of dishes to suit every taste: a variety of pastries, a chocolate fountain, Nutella and peanut butter, several types of meat, fish, sushi rolls, chicken shawarma, and much more. Everything is beautifully presented, and the dishes are constantly replenished; nothing runs out, even closer to the end of breakfast service. We stayed in a sea-view room, and this view was the highlight of our stay at the hotel. The panorama is so breathtaking that it feels like you're on an observation deck with a nearly 240-degree view. The glass balconies and floor-to-ceiling panoramic doors allow you to enjoy the sea even without leaving your room. The room itself is very cozy and pleasant, and the hotel grounds are well-maintained, green, and very photogenic. The pool is nice and comfortable, although the stunning views remained the main draw of the hotel for us. The location is also good: if you're traveling by scooter or car, you can reach Patong in just a few minutes. Walking isn't very convenient, but this wasn't a drawback for us. Kalima Resort left us with very fond memories. It's a place we'd love to return to for the amazing views, excellent service, and truly luxurious breakfasts."

"I stayed at this hotel, which is advertised as 4 stars, but in my opinion, it's more like a 3-star property. The rooms look tired and are in need of an update. I booked a room with pool access, but it turned out to be a small shared pool for only three rooms. The view from the room was completely different from what was shown in the booking photos; instead of an aesthetic view, there was a wall, bushes, and a pathway with a constant stream of people, which made it feel like there was no privacy at all. It's also important to note the discrepancy between the website photos and reality – the rooms look much more appealing visually online than they do in person. I booked two rooms: one for a day (a standard room) and the second with pool access and a 'beautiful view.' Unfortunately, my expectations weren't met. Due to the situation in the country, I was being extra cautious with my booking, but the second room ultimately didn't live up to its description. I also want to point out that there was no acknowledgment of my birthday, even though many reviews mentioned congratulations and compliments from the hotel. In my case, there was neither a greeting nor even a verbal acknowledgment from the staff, even though I visited the reception on that day for another issue. On the positive side: when I reported it, the staff quickly resolved the shower problem (leaking and intermittent hot water). However, the overall impression was spoiled by mundane issues: during the rainy season, the room's location wasn't ideal – it was dark and felt confined. At one point, there were even leaks from the ceiling. The tap water was also periodically rusty. Housekeeping left much to be desired: throughout my stay, I noticed a toothpaste cap behind the sink in the mirror that hadn't been removed before my check-in. Out of curiosity, I didn't remove it myself, wanting to see when it would be taken away during cleaning, but it remained there until I checked out. There was also noticeable dust in some areas, including above the bed. Additionally, the reusable slippers and bathrobes made me question their freshness and cleanliness. It's also worth noting that the 'Crocs' that many people mention are only available in very large sizes, so they won't fit people with smaller feet. Overall, I personally cannot recommend this hotel to friends and do not plan on returning."

"The place is quite small, more like an apartment. I booked it in October for a stay in February. The 'villa' is actually a duplex, with the living room downstairs having no air conditioning, and two bedrooms upstairs with A/C. It's best to bring your own hangers and clothesline when staying here, as their hangers aren't usable, and you'll be fined if you dry wet clothes in the room. Luckily, there's a laundry service right outside the hotel for 60 baht per kilo, wash and dry. When I stayed in Phuket Town previously, the water was normal, but in Patong, it's yellowish, and tastes a bit strange when brushing teeth. I brought a filtered shower head, which wasn't expensive, about 20 baht. Breakfast is more Western-style. It's about a 1.2 km walk to Jungceylon. There's a small Thai restaurant nearby with delicious pineapple rice – you can check it out on Dianping. Google Maps is more accurate abroad. When I booked in October, it was around 1300 baht per night including tax, with breakfast for four, which I guess is acceptable."

"This is my second time staying here. There are some minor issues, but for the price, they're perfectly understandable. I just need a room to sleep and shower in, and this more than meets my needs."

"This hotel is nestled in the mountains, so while it's not the most convenient to get to, it offers a peaceful retreat. The staff are great, and the overall facilities are good. I highly recommend the Pad Thai at the Talay restaurant in the lobby – it was the best I had on this trip out of three different places! The sea view from the room is beautiful. My only minor complaints are that the AC can only be turned on or off, with no temperature control, which is a bit inconvenient as it gets too cold when on and too warm when off. Also, there's a slight issue with the shower's temperature control; it's almost impossible to find a middle ground between scorching hot and freezing cold, so I ended up having to angle the showerhead as high as it would go."

"A great hotel. They call themselves ‘The Oasis of Patong’ and they’re not wrong. Close enough to the madness so it’s within a 15 minute walk to Bangla Rd but far enough away that it’s nice and quiet to make a relaxing stay. The pool area is great for relaxing and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and will be back."

"1. The room's location was decent, in my opinion. I just took taxis everywhere, and the hotel offered a shuttle service within its premises (during specific hours). 2. The service was also good, and the staff's attitude was pleasant. One male front desk attendant was particularly thorough in explaining all the room's features and how to use them. I have no complaints about the service. 3. Hygiene was fine; it was quite clean. I'm not nitpicky, especially considering the price – only 220 for one night. 4. The whole room was very spacious, and it even had a jacuzzi tub and an infinity pool. The only drawback was that the furniture was a bit old and shaky. 5. The most important thing for me was the mirrors. The master bedroom had a mirror above the headboard and a huge mirror on the wall at the foot of the bed. There was also a dressing mirror to the right of the headboard. Foreigners might not mind, but as a timid Chinese person, I was genuinely scared. The mirrors at the head and foot of the bed created an infinite reflection, and I couldn't even look at them. I also couldn't look at the dressing mirror. I had to sleep sideways, and I felt inexplicably terrified. I couldn't wait until dawn, so I left around 6 AM. This was by far the most frightening of the four hotels I've stayed in. Plus, the environment was a bit wild; geckos would crawl in. I wasn't scared, but my partner was. He didn't sleep all night and even mentioned hearing knocking sounds on the window (which was probably some kind of insect hitting the glass, as there was lush vegetation nearby, attracting all sorts of geckos, toads, and birds chirping). Overall, everything else was great, but those mirrors were just too terrifying. If you don't mind them, it's perfectly fine to stay here. I'd give it an overall rating of about 4.6, no exaggeration. My fear of mirrors is a personal issue, though."
