"First off, the hotel's location is excellent, right inside Sun Island Scenic Area. It's incredibly convenient to just step downstairs and stroll around Sun Island or head out to the Polarland. Plus, once you check in, vehicle access to and from the island is free.
However, I need to mention something. This was my second stay. This time, I checked in during the day. In the evening, when I wanted to drive out for dinner, I asked the front desk if there would be a charge to drive off the island for a meal, and if the hotel needed to notify the gate management beforehand. The hotel said no, just register when leaving after checkout. And when I entered the island, a short, thin staff member also said I could just use my room card to go in and out. But when I got to the gate, there was a different staff member. They refused my room card, citing various reasons. I called the hotel front desk, and an older male staff member answered. His attitude was extremely poor and impatient. He started yelling after a couple of sentences and then just hung up the phone. This was truly terrible. After my first stay, I had a fantastic impression of the hotel and planned to bring my kids back here. My friends even asked me where I stayed after seeing my social media posts, and I recommended this place to everyone. Now, I'll have to reconsider.
Putting that aside, the hotel's hygiene is good, and breakfast is very rich. However, it wasn't as good as my first stay. During my first stay, missing food items were replenished very promptly. This time, I waited and waited, and things weren't refilled much. Perhaps there was a conference, and too many people ate everything?
Also, the hotel's cleaning staff were quite impatient this time. After the front desk gave me the room card and I went upstairs, they hadn't finished cleaning yet and kept complaining about why the front desk gave out room cards so early. Then, because I had a one-year-old child and two seventy-year-old seniors with me, I asked the cleaner if they could please hurry up a bit, otherwise, the child would get too tired. The cleaner was also extremely impatient and said it wasn't time yet, and that we should sit on the sofa in the hallway. Then they just kept grumbling and complaining about getting the room card early.
I truly hope the hotel can improve its service attitude and clearly inform guests how to communicate with the gate staff for island access when driving out for meals during their stay."
