Yun Mushan B&B (Huangshan Scenic Area Tangkou South Gate Branch)

From the 5th floor of the hotel, you can enjoy distant views of Mount Huangshan. The hotel staff were exceptional; their service was attentive and responsive to every need, always delivered with a smile. The location is also incredibly convenient, being just a 3-4 minute walk to the Xiaoyaoxi Transfer Station. This is a huge advantage as it means you don't have to deal with the crowds of tour groups at the Zhaixi Bus Terminal.

The rooms were great, perfect for families. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming. Since we were staying at a mountain-top hotel the next day, they kindly let us store our luggage and even helped us arrange a taxi. Its location is fantastic, only a 5-minute walk to the Xiaoyaoxi Transfer Station. There are also convenient dining options nearby. However, a pro tip: if you prefer milder flavors, be sure to ask the restaurant owner to use less salt. The restaurant owner was exceptionally accommodating. When they served the wrong dish, they let us keep it for free and promptly prepared the correct one. And when we mentioned the replacement dish was a bit too salty, they even treated our two children to complimentary Sprites! Overall, our experience was that everyone we encountered in Huangshan was wonderfully kind.

The guesthouse boasts an excellent location, right at the foot of Huangshan Mountain and just a few minutes' walk from the Xiaoyaoxi Transfer Center at the South Gate. The balcony rooms offer direct views of Huangshan Mountain. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; on our first day, they assisted us with planning our itinerary and even provided a small, portable map. The guesthouse also offers complimentary hiking poles for guests, which was extremely convenient.

Yunmushan Smart Designer Homestay is situated at the foot of Huangshan Mountain, just a few hundred meters from Huangshan Xiaoyao Stream. From here, it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the shuttle bus stop for Huangshan, which is incredibly convenient. While the room conditions aren't luxurious, they were perfectly adequate for our family trip. The front desk service was excellent; the staff enthusiastically shared useful information about visiting Huangshan. You'll find several restaurants within a 3-minute walk, making dining very convenient. The homestay also features some nice photo opportunities on its rooftop. We were lucky enough to witness stunning clouds in the evening and made great use of these spots for photos! If you're looking to explore Huangshan at a relaxed pace, we highly recommend staying here and heading out early in the morning.

We visited Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) with my parents and child and stayed at Yunmu Mountain Guesthouse. The room was quite spacious, and the smart controls were a novelty and very convenient for both my parents and my child. Its location is incredibly convenient – just a 5-minute walk to the shuttle bus transfer center, which made catching the morning bus completely stress-free. The owner was exceptionally welcoming and helpful; they even planned an easy hiking route suitable for my parents and child, and kindly provided us with hiking poles. They also offer laundry facilities, which was incredibly practical – we could wash our muddy hiking clothes the same evening! It was quiet and clean, definitely recommended for families.
