"The hotel is located next to Tunxi Old Street and on the bank of the Xin'an River. It is strongly recommended to book a river view room. You can sit on the balcony, drink tea, and watch the night cruise boats passing by on the Xin'an River. There is also a sky garden on the third floor of the hotel, which really fulfills the dream of ”going up to the house and unveiling the tiles” as a child. The decoration details of the room are great and it is very convenient to stay. For any problems that arose during our stay, the front desk butlers were very proactive and quick to help us solve them. In particular, Master Sheng from the hotel team provided excellent service and explained Huizhou culture professionally. Highly recommended."

"The location is superb, offering incredibly easy access for ascending and descending the mountain. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, and surprisingly, I found the food prices comparable to, if not better than, those in Tangkou Town. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, truly meeting hotel standards. The window offered an interesting view of the path where tourists descend the mountain. A crucial tip: either arrive at the bus station by 6 AM or wait until after 10 AM. For those staying on the mountain, even heading up around noon is perfectly fine. We made the mistake of arriving at 7 AM and endured a two-hour queue – it was hot, crowded, and we were almost at our breaking point before even starting our ascent. Thankfully, the rest of the trip went smoothly, and we were rewarded with stunning sunset and sunrise views. That initial discomfort was absolutely worth it in the end. My strongest recommendation is to absolutely stay overnight on the mountain. This allows you to truly appreciate Huangshan before 9 AM and after 5 PM, when the large crowds of day-trippers have departed."

"The owner is absolutely amazing! They offered to pick us up from the parking lot and drop us off again. We even got complimentary flatbread upon check-in. We came back after seeing the fish lanterns around 9 PM, and they were still open and willing to cook for us! 😭😭 And the food was incredibly delicious. I highly recommend the crispy rice (guoba) and the braised pork with dried long beans! So good! When I left, I accidentally left my sun protection shirt behind, and they specially delivered it to me! The guesthouse environment is also fantastic, very clean with an antique and rustic decor. I especially loved the brass faucet design. The facilities are very complete, even providing a multi-functional adapter. There's a small skylight in the lobby, and in the afternoon, the light shines down into a little pond with koi fish and very well-behaved cats 🥰 It's super picturesque and incredibly beautiful! The guesthouse's location is also excellent, quite close to where you can watch the fish lanterns. All in all, I highly recommend it!"

"The hotel rooms are spacious and bright, fully equipped and intelligent, with gym, laundry room, dry and wet separation bathroom, etc.; the decoration style is simple and atmospheric, and the bedding is comfortable. The room is clean and tidy, the river view outside the window is beautiful, the surrounding environment is quiet and pleasant, there is a children's park at the entrance of the hotel, suitable for parents and children. Breakfast tastes varied and convenient for a day trip. The hotel is equipped with a parking lot, close to the highway, convenient for self-driving."

"This homestay experience was perfect! As soon as you enter the door, the cozy wooden decoration warms your heart, and the small balcony filled with green plants is the finishing touch, enhancing the atmosphere. The room supplies are of high quality and the bed is super comfortable. The boss was very hospitable and not only helped plan the itinerary, but also shared some local delicacies. I really recommend it. Once you come here, you won’t want to leave!"

"The hotel is close to the town that serves as the main entrance to the mountains. We stayed in a beautiful room with a bathtub and a view of the bamboo forest. The owners were very welcoming and went out of their way to help us with any issues or questions we had. Regarding transportation to the scenic spots, the owner drove us to the entrance of the Yellow Mountains and helped us order a taxi whenever we needed one. We always felt well cared for; no wishes were left unfulfilled, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Huangshan."

"Absolutely fabulous hotel. The staff are fantastic. We were dealing with a difficult personal situation during our stay and the hotel were super accommodating and flexible. We had a wonderfully relaxing time despite the circumstances and I don't think that would've been the case if we had stayed anywhere else. In fact this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in, super comfortable and extremely clean, beautiful facilities and the design is just wonderful, and VIP treatment from start to finish. They obviously care tremendously about making their guests welcome and comfortable and you really really feel it. It would be impossible to have a bad experience if you stay here. They will do everything to make sure you feel looked after. A+++"

"The B&B is near the Huangshan Scenic Area South Gate Transfer Center, though it's a bit of a walk. The owner will drop you off right after you depart. There's a small convenience store in front of the building, perfect for grabbing food and shopping on your way up the mountain. The B&B also has a restaurant. The stinky mandarin fish is incredibly cheap, and the food is homely and generously portioned. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍 The rooms are clean and tidy, with excellent ventilation. There's a laundry room on the third floor, complete with a washer, dryer, and detergent, which is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Even with our children and limited energy, they quickly provided expert and effortless hiking tips. There's also a hiking map at the front desk. Even if you didn't bring your hiking poles or raincoats, you can borrow them free of charge. ✌️ You can order takeout directly to your room. Downstairs is a food court with restaurants, supermarkets, and a pharmacy, making it very convenient! If you want to fully experience Huangshan in one trip, stay a few days and hike from both trailheads. Check the weather; Huangshan has a unique charm on both sunny and rainy days. It's amazing!"

"The manager of this guest house went out of his way to be helpful. I am solo traveler from Melbourne Australia and stayed in a spacious double room overlooking the mountain and river. Open the windows at night and all you hear is the mountain river. When I asked how to organise a bus to the railway station he got me a share car that picked me up from the accomodation for same price as the bus. Also Great advice as to which routes to take on the mountain. No one in this region speaks English you will need a translater app on you phone and WeChat to keep in communication with hotel manager"
