"This property is very well maintained and rooms are clean, and very well-appointed with the needed comforts. We truly applaud the attention-to-detail and effort that the husband-and-wife owners have put into this bed-and-breakfast property. We arrived as it started to get colder and truly appreciated the warm heating in the rooms. Fantastic warm showers. An amazing bonus amenity was the electric toilets! We are also thankful to the lady boss for highlighting the first Huangshan Peak snow-fall on our last day of stay! Upon her encouragement we decided an impromptu climb up Huangshan a second time. We were glad we did! The snow scenery at Huangshan peak was AMAZING. THANK YOU!"

"I like the room very much, it's a twin room with a lot of space. Because I couldn't confirm the exact arrival time at Huangshan North, I contacted the manager Huahua just before I got on the bus, and he immediately arranged a driver to pick me up at the station. The driver in the fleet was also very nice, he dropped me off near the hotel for free, and helped me contact the uncle in black clothes in the store, who kept helping to carry the suitcases. I walked slowly with my mother. When leaving the next day, Huahua helped carry the suitcase again, feeling very embarrassed. We took another driver's car in the fleet to the hotel in Tangkou Town. The scenery along the way was really beautiful. A stay experience beyond imagination."

"Thinking of finding a quiet place to rest for two days after climbing Huangshan Mountain, I looked at the location and chose this B&B. I like the scenery of the hotel very much. It is located in the valley. The room has a large balcony and a view. Every day, I listen to the bamboo forest and the gurgling stream. It is really relaxing. The hotel's dried bamboo shoots noodles are delicious, and the fruits are also very sweet. My wife loves to eat that Babagan. Because the hotel is temporarily out of stock, the boss went home to find it and sent it over. The hot spring has a very good viewing angle. You can overlook the main peaks of Huangshan Mountain and watch the clouds roll and unfold. The Jiulong Waterfall Emerald Valley around the hotel is also a good place to go. The boss is very enthusiastic and arranges pick-up at any time, which makes travel much more convenient. The hotel housekeeper is also very good. You can ask for anything at any time. My wife is very satisfied with this accommodation arrangement. We are already thinking about the arrangement for the next visit. It is highly recommended."

"It's rare for B&Bs to have underground parking, but this one does, complete with an elevator directly to the ground floor lobby for check-in – a real hotel-like convenience. This also means your car stays cool, even on scorching summer days. The B&B itself is spotless, and all common areas are comfortably air-conditioned. The staff, from the front desk and the proprietress to the restaurant servers, were incredibly warm and helpful. They even thoughtfully brought out mosquito repellent when they saw us sitting outside – a very nice touch. The laundry room is accessible until 9 PM, and they even offer a fantastic service where staff will wash, dry, fold, and deliver your clothes back to your room. Truly exceptional service! They provide an electric shuttle service to Xixinan; you just need to call 5 minutes before you want to be picked up. The scenic area isn't large but wonderfully uncommercialized, filled with charming local shops. The fish lantern display at night was vibrant and festive, just like celebrating Chinese New Year! The locals were so warm and down-to-earth, even spontaneously lighting off fireworks. Right outside the B&B, there's a small stream where you can fish. In the evenings, they even have a live singer – apparently, it's the only B&B in the area with live music! The ambiance was absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is served in a 'Jiugongge' (nine-grid platter) style, which was more than enough. The baozi (steamed buns) and wontons were freshly made, and you could always ask for more staple foods if you needed. To top it all off, they even gave us a thoughtful souvenir when we checked out. So considerate!"

"Definitely one of the most impressive homestays I’ve stayed in China - it actually looked better in real life than in photos, which is quite rare. The homestay offers 24 concierge and free pick up from huangshan north station, which was very helpful. I managed to get to know 胡师傅from there who subsequently became my driver for the next few days as I toured around huangshan. 胡师傅 is very helpful and even bought some better known烧饼as a treat for us. He was very responsive over WeChat. The interior of the homestay is super impressive! Love the modern and antiquated touch. The hotel is housed in the old street but the interior is so tastefully decorated with a modern touch with high quality appliances. The hair dryer was so powerful it could serve as an iron for my wet clothes. The amenities provided were also of high quality, the internal built - like the taps, shower etc were also good brands and of good quality. Classy. Breakfast was served down the road and the food was decent. Staffs were also very helpful and offered to take photos for us in the hotel. We also got free tickets for 齐云山 as part of our stay. Location was superb and smacked in the middle of the old town. Highly recommended!"

"This is a beautiful hotel located in a quiet area beside the Jade Valley. There is a small convenience store in front, not many eateries around but as we had all our meals in the hotel it wasn’t a problem. There is only the sound of birds chirping and running river, none of the incessant honking and noisy traffic in Tangkou. The meals prepared by the owners are very delicious, make sure you book ahead if you want to have lunch or dinner there. The breakfast included in the room was also a generous spread, so much so we could takeaway leftovers to eat on our Huangshan climb. The room is spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the proprietress kindly gave us a larger room that was available on the second floor, saving my mum from climbing to the third floor. Do note that laundry is not self service here. We were surprised that the lady boss had to wash and help us to hang it out to dry before collecting it again in the evening for us, and also felt bad for troubling her as she is already handling everything else in the hotel. She also kindly arranged for a driver to pick us up and send us to the train station. And helped to send us to the bus terminal to Huangshan. Just remember to hop off at the 逍遥溪 stop on the way back as it’s nearer for them to pick up from there. Thank you for the lovely stay and wishing you much success in future."

"Okay, this is a long review, full of real-life experiences, from a business traveler's perspective: A pleasant surprise for business travelers: a perfect balance between efficiency and relaxation. After years of business travel, I've mostly stayed in cookie-cutter, standard hotels, until I discovered this one. It completely changed my perception of business accommodations. First, the location is incredible. Nestled on a hill right in the heart of the city, meetings with clients are a snap, without the hassles of commuting to a suburban resort. But the amazing thing is, once you wind up the hill, the hustle and bustle of the city is instantly cut off. Returning to the hotel is like transitioning from the battlefield of work to private sanctuary—a stark contrast you won't find in any downtown hotel. The project negotiations were tough, and my spirits were constantly on edge. But back at the hotel that evening, I quickly checked in at the 24-hour front desk and, upon entering my room, was soothed by the panoramic city view outside the window. The quiet and powerful air conditioning quickly dispelled the oppressive heat outside. A refreshingly hot shower washed away all the fatigue. The internet was incredibly fast, allowing me to efficiently handle follow-up emails. Most satisfying was the rare peace and quiet. The soundproofing was excellent, completely obliterating any noise from the hallway or neighbors, allowing me to enjoy a rare, deep, undisturbed night's sleep. The next morning, I enjoyed a hearty buffet breakfast in the restaurant, boasting breathtaking views. Facing the lush greenery and distant cityscape, while sipping freshly ground coffee, I unexpectedly found a touch of vacation-like relaxation. Before departing, I even enjoyed a free charging station to fully recharge for the upcoming trip. This wasn't just a staycation; it felt like a ”mental massage” for a productive business trip. It perfectly strikes the right balance between the efficiency and convenience required for business, and the tranquility and restorative feeling travelers crave. Highly recommended to anyone who demands quality travel."

"The overall environment was quite good, and a complimentary golf experience was included. However, breakfast was a letdown with very limited options. The room itself was noticeably dirty: dust could be wiped off the table, the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, and the full-length mirror and vanity table were not properly cleaned. The room's soundproofing was poor, and the outdoor AC unit was excessively loud, resulting in a very uncomfortable night. Service, however, was acceptable. Ignoring the pleasant surroundings, this hotel is a far cry from the 4.5-star establishments I've stayed at."

Although there are many homestays at the foot of Tangkou Mountain. But there is no such landscape, and the bedding facilities are not up to par. The only problem is that you can hear the sound of the stream at night, which depends on the weather of the day and personal preference. Service: Thank you very much for the breakfast made by the auntie, who prepared it outside at more than six o'clock. Green pepper and dried bamboo shoots noodles, and an egg for me, are much better than the 25 yuan in the Tangkou store! If you have time, I suggest everyone to try it. The location is located in Tangkou Town, three kilometers away from the Huangshan South Gate Transfer Center. You can get a taxi at 7 o'clock in the morning. It is recommended to ask the boss in advance for earlier travel. If you are not in a hurry or have your own car, it is more suitable. There is a parking lot outside the B&B. Figures 4 and 5 are the scenery taken while walking about one kilometer outside the B&B. The scenery is surrounded by clouds and mist and is very beautiful."
