This hotel is right near Bright Summit, making it super convenient for catching the sunset and sunrise. Huangshan is incredibly beautiful and definitely worth a visit, but trying to do it all in one day would be exhausting because it's so vast. Booking this hotel was an excellent decision, as it made our entire itinerary much more manageable. Since the rooms are on top of the mountain, they aren't huge, but they were clean and tidy, and the bathroom facilities were great. What really exceeded our expectations was finding a dryer in the room – it kept our clothes and shoes perfectly dry. Another pleasant surprise was how delicious the food was at this hotel. I genuinely recommend it!

Mount Huangshan is huge, and staying overnight on the mountain is essential; otherwise, you won't be able to see everything. We booked the Biyun Hotel, which is very close to Bright Summit. It's an eco-wooden cabin, and even though it's an unconventional room type with a sloped ceiling, it has everything you need. There's heating, and in summer, there's a small air conditioner and a fan. The bathroom has a smart toilet, and there's even a foot bath tub to relieve fatigue. The cabinet contains padded jackets, so you don't have to worry about the cold when heading out early in the morning. They offer exclusive butler service, providing afternoon tea and snacks, fruit in the evening, and coffee plus extra bottled water upon check-out the next day – very thoughtful. The hotel's dining is a buffet, which is quite good; for a mountain restaurant, the variety is decent. Outside the hotel is a food court, and it's close to Tianhai Station, the upper station of the popular scenic train, making it convenient to go south, north, or to the West Sea Grand Canyon.

Superb view and you need a good hotel to get these fabulous scenic sights. Staff of hotel were wonderful.

Excellent service, very attentive and gave good tips on exploring the scenic area. A big thank you to the hotel staff (especially 宋书琳). The location is outstanding. The room's view is breathtaking. Wished I stayed longer. Interesting room design, with cave like beds.

Amazing Stay! We had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff took great care of us. A special thanks to Xiao Ye, who was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout our stay — providing us with regular updates on the sunrise schedule, evening show times, and even surprising us with complimentary snacks, foot bath sachets, and access to the massage chair. The hotel has a lovely, relaxing environment, an excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of options, and it’s conveniently located close to the peak for watching the sunrise. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again!

We stayed for two days. We took the Yuping cable car up the mountain and then a short ten-minute walk from the West Sea Grand Canyon monorail. It was incredibly convenient for catching the sunrise the next day (though we didn't actually see it) and also very close to the Guest-Greeting Pine and Tiandu Peak. The location is truly excellent. The hotel staff were all very enthusiastic (especially Huang Xinghua, who assisted me), providing an exceptional emotional experience. The variety of dinner and breakfast options was simply incredible – we ate until we were stuffed! They even offered afternoon tea, after-dinner fruit juice, and morning coffee. Our wooden cabin room was a bit small, but it had everything we needed. Regarding Huangshan itself: The first day had decent weather; no sea of clouds, but it was still stunningly beautiful. It was my first time truly experiencing layers of mountains and a 'myriad mountains crimson' (they weren't literally crimson, but that's the feeling it evoked!). The second day was heartbreaking; a thick fog meant we couldn't see anything, and we missed our reserved trip to Tiandu Peak. My heart was broken 😭😭 I definitely need to come back again!

The service at Baiyun Hotel was exceptional, truly a perfect score. Our butler sent us all the important details and was incredibly responsive to our needs. Seeing we had a child, they immediately brought kids' toiletries. They also thoughtfully provided foot-soaking herbal packets, fruit, and local specialties. The view from the window was absolutely stunning; opening it revealed the beautiful autumn foliage, a breathtaking sight. Highly recommended!

We had a great time at the hotel. Huang, our account manager is the best! She went on and beyond for us to be comfortable. She showed us around the hotel, and kept us informed on the activities so we wouldn’t miss out. Always making sure we were comfortable at the the hotel. I wish every hotel had her kind of service. I would actually rate her a 1,000 out of 10. Thank you! The food: the egg fried rice and wontons were so delicious 10/10

I had a great experience here, especially Xiao Ye, who took care of my needs and answered all my questions. She would let me know when sunrise was and kept me informed. The buffet was plentiful. Overall, it was a great stay.

Had a really good time. We were welcomed by a lady at the front desk that brought us to our room and explained everything about the area (where to see the sunset/sunrise etc) She kept on sending me updates on weather and activities in the hotel. Later in the evening she offered us tea and beers, free trial of the chair, and when we went back to our room we found a bag with fruits and local biscuits! The next day after breakfast they offered us coffee and more advice about where to go next. Our room was comfortable, highlight being the amazing view from the window!! Very good service, we recommend this place and would come back if we come back to Huangshan!

I always thought the conditions on the mountain would be tough and was prepared for the worst, but staying at Baiyun Hotel exceeded all my expectations. First, the front desk staff were incredibly patient and attentive, even reminding us of sunrise and sunset times and viewpoints. The room was also very clean and hygienic, much better than I imagined. Choosing Baiyun was definitely the right decision; it's so convenient for watching both sunrise and sunset. Thanks to the hotel staff for their help. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

My experience at Huangshan Baiyun Hotel was absolutely perfect, exceeding all expectations in every aspect. The location is uniquely advantageous, nestled in the heart of the Tianhai Scenic Area, surrounded by famous attractions like Bright Summit and Lotus Peak. It's just a ten-minute walk to catch the sunrise at Bright Summit or the sunset at Aoyu Peak, and only five minutes to the 'internet-famous little train' station at the West Sea Grand Canyon, making it an excellent hub for connecting to all the mountain's sights. The facilities far surpassed what I expected. For a 4-star hotel, the rooms are equipped with quality items like Serta mattresses and Arrow smart toilets. Some room types even feature smart controls and massage functions. With underfloor heating in winter and air conditioning in summer, the attention to detail is evident. The public areas are clean and tidy, and even the restrooms have hot water, providing an excellent experience. The service was incredibly heartwarming. The 'Royal Gold Butler' service was available throughout my stay, offering meticulous and thoughtful assistance from ticket booking and route planning to weather reminders. They even prepared flashlights and down jackets for watching the sunrise, and their response time was exceptionally quick. The dining and cultural experiences were also outstanding. The tented restaurant offers a rich variety of meals, and the hot pot buffet was of superior quality. In the evenings, there were Huizhou folk performances such as Huangmei Opera and dragon dances, adding a touch of cultural charm to the stay.

I highly recommend the Huangshan Baiyun Hotel! This was absolutely the best choice for our trip to Huangshan. The location is prime, just a 10-15 minute walk to Bright Peak, making it super convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset. The facilities are excellent, with heated rooms and smart toilets. They even thoughtfully provide rain gear and down jackets. After a long hike, relaxing with the foot bath tub was incredibly comfortable. The biggest surprise was the service from Butler Huang; they reminded us of the sunrise times in advance and were quick to respond to any questions. In the evening, you can also enjoy Huangmei Opera performances. From the amenities to the service, everything was impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan!

We really enjoyed our stay at the baiyun hotel. The location is great for both sunset and sunrise, room facilities are really good as well, but we were most pleasantly surprised by the service of the staff! Definitely recommend booking a stay here if you want to stay overnight at Huangshan.
