Vien Dong Hotel - Near Bui Vien Walking Street Reviews

Location was good. Staff were amazing. Room was a bit tiny. Beds are moving so it was uncomfy to sleep. Thin walls, you could hear the TV playing from the next room, people passing by your door, baby crying late at night.

This is a lovely hotel conveniently located near Bui Vien Street. The breakfast was also quite good, making for a pleasant overall stay.

Staff are friendly always greet us with smile. Checkin and checkout is fast. Clean room and beds are comfy. Furniture is old but ok. Breakfast is ok, bacon need to change it’s not crispy. The noise from outside corridor can be heard inside the room and it can be noisy in the morning. Overall stay is above average will come back again

Surprisingly clean but the noise from the walking street can be heard late at night. Wear ear plugs if you are a light sleeper

Stayed at Vien Dong Hotel for a few nights — great location near the nightlife and restaurants. Rooms were tidy, and the service was good. Would stay again!

Hotel is strategically located in an area withib walking distance to some of the tourist spots, many eateries and restaurants and night spots be it Bui Vien walking street, massage parlours, pubs and karaoke lounges. Besides the cleanliness brought about by the chambermaids, there is the wide range of the breakfast spread also. Security in the hotel is also top notch with very alert security personnel on a very sharp look-out, be it carrying the umbrella to usher you into the hotel, opening the cab doors upon reaching the hotel or helping with the carriage of items of the hotel tenants. I find this hotel very good in all aspects, if not, almost all and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a wonderful and enjoyable stay.

From start to finish, our stay was perfect. It included a really good buffet selection for breakfast.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed. Not only the staff is really impolite and try to scam you to charge you extra items from the minibar or forgets to give you the change after you have paid. The room was really disgusting when we checked in. And nothing from the following could be improved. Broken furniture, bumped floor, dirty bathroom with uncleanable stains, when we turn on the AC, we start coughing from all the dust that flows away. The pictures you see when u book were taken when the hotel was built. It doesn't look like those pictures anymore. Find another hotel around. This one deserves to be closed down by the health department.

The room and the sofa is quite old and worn. The sound of cars and honking can be heard throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. The power outlet near the bed doesn’t work properly. For the price, the quality is not worth it. I even requested extra bottled water but was denied. Overall, a disappointing experience.
