Anise hotel Hanoi Reviews

We stayed at anise hotel our first time in vietnam. Our room was huge, the buffet breakfast is one of the best we have had and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would highly reccomend.

A great place to stay with lovely staff.

Really enjoyed my stay. Ended up with a really nice big room which was clean and comfortable, the only thing I could pick out is the bathroom light didn’t work so I had to shower with the door open and no one rushed to fix it but it was alright. Location was good, only a short walk to main touristy areas and lots of shops near by.

After spending two nights there, we can only say. do yourself a favor and pick any other hotel. Reception staff was very nice But the rest of the hotel was sub human experience! 🤮

The facilities of the hotel room are very clean and luxurious.

Very good location!

The room doesn't match the photos or the price. It's very tired, the terrace is dirty and unkempt. There's no canopy over the terrace, so you can't go out there if it's sunny or raining. The breakfasts are ok. There's only one elevator. We waited for it for about 15 minutes at 8 a.m., and ended up walking from the 7th floor with our backpacks.

The location is good, right next to the Hanoi Water Tower, and it takes only about ten minutes to walk to Huanjian Lake and Bar Street. The hotel breakfast is good, the cheese is delicious, and the room is clean and tidy

Not a good place to stay. Poor service attitude

The room is very average, all facilities are dilapidated, and the bathroom has a smell. I spent almost 300 yuan to book this room. The facilities are not worth the price. It is also the worst hotel I have ever stayed in during my trip to Vietnam.

very good, worth having

The room is a good size, beds are comfy and the AC works well and water nice and warm in the shower. For the money you really can't complain at all. Need a shower curtain in the bathroom. Breakfast is missing some egg. Location is a little out but still walkable to the old quarter.

Having looked at all the reviews, I certainly had my reservations about this place, how wrong I was , there was simply nothing I could fault, yes breakfast was completely out of my comfort zone, but if you like rice, veggies and chicken then you are in your element,,,toast and boiled eggs were sufficient for me. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday, beds were ok for me, showers were spot on. Like I said it is not 5* luxury, but you have to remember where you are,,,most things were easily accessible and if you required any information at all staff were on hand to help with anything they could....special thanks to An who helped me alot...would I stay here again, most deffo...

The Anise is a simple, clean budget hotel with friendly staff. The room was slightly older, but pleasant and everything worked. The location is fantastic for visiting the Dong Xuan market. It was pretty much a six minute straight shot walk from the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially as we needed to adjust our checkout time to match with a tour we were joining.
