Hotels in Xixi Wetland Park Area, Hangzhou

Our stay exceeded all expectations! The front desk service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. From the moment we checked in, we experienced professional and meticulous service. Olive and Jennifer at the front desk were always smiling and handled our check-in quickly and efficiently. Frank Su proactively upgraded our room and even provided complimentary welcome fruit. When we checked out, they helped us call a taxi and assisted with loading our luggage into the car. We absolutely have to give the front desk team a five-star rating! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Their service was warm and thorough, with attention to detail evident everywhere, making our entire trip feel exceptionally comfortable and welcoming. Next time we're in this city, we'll definitely choose this hotel again!

Niki at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful. Thank you for her enthusiastic assistance, which made me feel so welcome. Not only did she upgrade me to a quieter, brighter room, she also offered to help with my luggage. The room was spotless and tidy. The hotel is also in a great location, right next to a wetland park, perfect for an evening stroll.

The overall environment met our expectations. Located in the Xixi Wetland scenic area, it's conveniently accessible whether you're driving, taking a taxi, or using public transport (subway). A shuttle service is available to assist with luggage. The room views were also delightful, and the in-room amenities were quite comfortable and pleasant to use. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any photos. However, several service issues prevented me from giving a full five-star rating: 1. I had to proactively add the butler's WeChat myself after inquiring through Ctrip. In my experience with other hotels, the butler or concierge usually reaches out proactively to ask about guest needs in advance. 2. Upon check-in, the front desk staff simply took my ID and handed over a room card, with no introduction to the hotel, no confirmation of my booking details, and absolutely no communication or explanation regarding the services I was entitled to, such as room upgrade benefits or late check-out options. As a result, I completely forgot about the travel photography session I had planned to book and missed the opportunity. 3. Breakfast on the second day was scheduled to end at 10:00 AM, but when we arrived around 9:45 AM, we were informed there were no tables available and we'd have to wait. It makes me wonder if the restaurant's capacity is adequately managed. Furthermore, I personally feel that a 10:00 AM breakfast closing time is a bit early for a resort hotel; many establishments offer breakfast until 10:30 AM or even 11:00 AM. On top of that, the breakfast quality was rather mediocre. 4. During breakfast, perhaps due to how busy the staff were, they initially forgot to bring the coffee we requested, though they did apologize later. While the hotel did offer complimentary fruit upon check-in, small pastries, a cute squirrel toy, and a facial mask during turndown service, and a souvenir bag upon departure – showing genuine thoughtfulness – I believe what truly leaves a lasting impression and connects with guests is sincere and attentive service. The hotel really needs to prioritize and invest in staff training in this area.

This hotel has many great features. It offers a two-story underground parking garage, with plenty of EV charging stations on B1, making parking very convenient. The rooms come with two beds, and the extended bay window is long enough to accommodate an extra person. Dining is easy with many restaurants right outside the hotel entrance. The subway station is incredibly close; the C entrance is just a one-minute walk from the hotel's back door. This makes getting to Joy City super convenient – just one stop on Line 5, then a transfer to Line 10 for another stop. Intime Department Store is also only a 10-minute walk from the back entrance. A room without breakfast is 398, while a room with breakfast for two is 429. Paying only 30 more for breakfast for two is a pretty good deal, making buying breakfast separately for 38 per person seem unnecessary. I'm not sure if these are the usual prices, but given it's recently been the 817 Rice Festival, you're likely to encounter many cosplayers at the hotel.

The overall experience was excellent and highly recommended. The service was a plus. The concierge, Berry, and his team were very helpful, and the housekeepers, Mia and Yulia, were professional. The lunch attendant was very attentive and deserves praise. The restaurant food was also above expectations. The hotel's soundproofing was a bit poor, but thanks to the high-quality neighbors, I slept very comfortably. Compared to my previous experience, the rowboat doesn't directly reach the hotel's pier. Also, doesn't SLH participate in any Hilton events? I couldn't find it on the official platform... Bulgari, owned by Hilton, is...

Great stay outside of the city. Its in a student area with a lot of food and shopping nearby that is open till late, which we liked! the staff was kind and helpful! Breakfast was lovely and so were the rooms! Thank you so much!

Great place for families with pets. The staff are very kind and caring. The laundry facility and parking were well-equipped and easy to use. There were charging piles in the parking for EVs. However, there were two main problems, 1) our room was not cleaned properly and hair was everywhere, 2) the breakfast was only Chinese style (fried egg, tofu, rice, and watermelon) without any coffee or juice, which was not good and didn't worth the cost. We asked for coffee in the morning for breakfast but they told us the staff in charge of making coffee would come in the afternoon and there was no coffee or other drinks for the ridiculous breakfast session.

The experience of Xixi Hotel is really great. It is right inside Xixi Wetland. It is said to be the largest hotel in Hangzhou. The environment is good, more park-like than a park. You can feed the fish directly from the balcony, and the children can ride. The hotel has a pier, and you can take a boat directly to Xixi Wetland Scenic Area. The concierge manager Jack Hongjie provides great service. I am very grateful for the thoughtful service throughout the whole process.

I took my kids to Hangzhou on the weekend. I saw a route online and wanted to go to Majiawu-Observation Deck-Beigaofeng-Lingyin. This hotel is very close to Majiawu and you can walk there quickly. The service is good, but the room feels average. The most speechless thing is that the dry and wet basins are independent, and the toilet and bathroom are independent. In the bathroom, there is no place to put clothes except for the shower. The clothes rack is above the toilet. There is no curtain in the shower, only some frosted stickers, which is not enough privacy. There is no clothes rack in the shower room, which is also unreasonable. It is equivalent to taking off clothes outside to take a shower. I don't know if it is just like this for my room type. The price is not low, and I recommend other fast chains.
