Convenient next to the train with elevator from near the train up to the hotel floor. Hotel has a really nice onsen with both indoor and outdoor pools. They also provide a variety of different size kimonos that can be used around the hotel and in the onsen.

The location is great! It’s nearby the train station so it’s convenient. The price was good as well. Everything was perfect and we had a good time there!

Wonderful location, just 2 mins walk from Hakone Yumoto hotel, also very near to all the shops and food places nearby. The hotel is very clean in general, the onsen is very enjoyable as well, overall a wonderful experience!

The room's cleanliness exhibited shortcomings, specifically the presence of dust accumulation in the corners. Despite recent renovations, the room's condition appeared to have declined. The carpeting's vacuuming was insufficient, and the presence of food particles rendered it unsuitable for barefoot use. The hotel's offerings appear to cater primarily to a local clientele, as indicated by the predominantly Japanese television programming, including cartoons and the pay-per-view video-on-demand service. Furthermore, access to the private hot springs necessitates an additional charge of 2000 yen for a 45-minute session, even for hotel guests. Extended stays are not recommended. A stay of 1-2 days is likely sufficient if utilizing the hot springs facilities is the primary objective.

great location to Yumoto station, just across a bridge and a street, where you can take Hakone Tozan railway to mountaintop, or to Odawara connecting to other big cities. Spacious room, and spacious reception hall with several fine dining restaurants, has both public and private Onsens, professional staff, provide delicious breakfast, the stay is relaxing

It is right at the main train station of Hakone, making it easy to access various parts of Hakone town. Its Japanese dinner is fantastic, and the hot spring area is well maintained too. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel in early May, and the experience was far from satisfactory. **Onsen Experience:** The onsen features three baths, all at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius, which is suitable for beginners. The sauna, however, only reached 50 degrees, lacking intensity. Still the Onsen were good with nice atmosphere. **Room Quality:** Our initial room was next to an elevator, even though we asked for the opposite and had a strong smell of smoke. Upon requesting a room change, we were relocated to a lower floor room that was outdated. The odor from the old carpet was pervasive, and despite using deodorant spray and keeping the window open for two days, it remained a discomfort. **Breakfast Incident:** Unfortunately, we also encountered a rather unpleasant situation during breakfast. We had booked the meal, which was not inexpensive, and arrived at the buffet before 9:30 and thought that the buffet closes at 10:00 AM and we still can eat but not take something from buffet, as is customary in other hotels. However, at exactly 10:00, the restaurant staff insisted we leave, abruptly telling us that the restaurant was closed. We had to abandon our food and drinks that we just took 9:50 and exit the restaurant. This was particularly frustrating, as they had seen us taking food earlier and never mentioned that we couldn’t finish our meal. There was no flexibility to allow us even an extra 10 minutes to eat. **Overall Impression:** The service was not customer-oriented, and the overall experience did not justify the price of €250 per night. Also, unfortunately we experienced a view negative situations and given the combination of issues, I personally would stay in this hotel again nor can I recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Everything is good , very near the station, location is perfect. Public hot bath is so good for relaxing.

Hotel was literally 2 mins walk from Hakone Yumoto station. Check in was easy. Room was clean. Public bathe was nice. Some parts of the hotel was under maintenance while we were there. The breakfast was pretty good as well. They've got western food items, eastern items and japanese items.

I had a very nice and decent experience staying at Yumoto Fujiya Hotel. Not only was it near the Yumoto station, it was also with numerous choices of restaurants where you could enjoy lunches / dinners. It was particular meaningful to me as you can rarely see restaurants opened outside after 6pm, and i was super hungry at that time. But it’s better to reserve earlier if you decide to have dinner inside the hotel. The room was clean, though not spacious enough (but it’s very common in Japan). The onsen was also nice which opened until 1am at night. Overall, it was a great experience.
