Booked with private onsen - best part of the hotel! The public onsen was never busy when we went and perfectly enjoyable. The nearby one that guests have access too offers more onsen options and is worth the 3 minute walk over.
As others say, the buffet isn’t great. Most food is cold - so pick options you expect to be so (sushi etc) for the best option. The service was very good and the staff very helpful and friendly.

Was feeling bump about the reviews. However I must say the station have shuttle service that’s 200 yen per person. It was convenient and easy to travel. Hotel amenities was great too. The in-room onsen was perfect and room amenities provided was hair dryer, hair straightener, hair curler etc that’s really great. Dinner spread was great. Breakfast was okay.

Great service provided by hotel okada , staffs was friendly and helpful , provided useful information of hotel hot springs bath facilities and restaurants for customer , transport service provided for traveling between hakone Yumoto train station and hotel for customer accessible to day tour around the region , highly recommended for a great holidays experience.

Reception counter staffs are responsive and helpful when I check in on 25/11/24 as this is my family first trip to Japan Tokyo and hakone .Nice view and nice Osen on the room

Overpriced for what’s included. The images show a Japanese kiseki dinner sent to your room, but it’s actually a buffet dinner.
The hotel is also quite inflexible with check in timings, and they do not assist with calling a taxi from the nearest station, so be prepared to wait or avoid booking if you have large baggages as the hotel is quite inaccessible.

Booked room with breakfast and dinner. What was provided was buffet dinner. When we requested for a Japanese dinner instead there was an extra charge of 4400 yen per person (so costs us 8800 yen) which wasn’t made known to us. Only discovered when checking out.
Hotel staff at reception didn’t do a good job explaining the extra charge causing unhappiness to us.
