MMM0112The view of the hotel is very beautiful and the room is large and comfortable. The decoration in the room is very design, and the electrical appliances are all up-to-date. The service was very good and the rest was very good. We chose breakfast in the room and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset here. We were very happy. There are also buffet snack bars on the 3rd floor. Don't miss ~ If the weather is good, you must spread it around the hotel or ride a bicycle. It's too comfortable. 😌 I have lived in several hotels nearby. This is definitely the most cost-effective + comfortable!

GGuest UserThe light in the middle of the room was broken, the wires were exposed and the light bulbs were removed. It was very dark at night, and there was a Bible in the drawer. The whole hotel has a very old atmosphere and European interiors. I felt like it was a hotel from an American horror movie. Hahaha, I was a little scared alone, but overall it was just like that, ordinary. I saw a swimming pool and a gym, but I only stayed for one night and didn't go there. The buffet downstairs was quite delicious, although I didn't see the menu clearly and was put on a pedestal.

GGuest UserThe hotel is nestled in Meriken Park, offering truly stunning views; the hotel itself is a scenic spot. The room size and facilities met expectations. I had researched beforehand and booked an East-facing room. I made a mistake when booking and ended up with a non-refundable special offer room, which was slightly smaller. However, the bed faced the balcony, so if you're an early riser, you can actually catch the sunrise from this room. The only downside is that the hotel might have been open for a while and hasn't been maintained very well. The cleanliness wasn't ideal, especially for Japan. There was a lot of dust on the ceiling directly above the air conditioning vent, which looked a bit messy. I hope the hotel pays more attention to these details. I had read in guides that it's best to take the shuttle bus or a taxi to the hotel because it's uphill and inconvenient with luggage. However, there's an escalator to the left of the hotel, which is perfectly fine for carrying suitcases. Just be aware that it stops operating after a certain time at night, so keep that in mind when checking in. Due to a flight delay, we were supposed to arrive at 4 PM, but it got pushed to the evening. We landed quickly, took the airport bus to Sannomiya, and easily found the hotel shuttle pick-up point. We were lucky to catch the 10:30 PM hotel shuttle. Upon arrival, we also bought some food and drinks at the convenience store on the first floor of the hotel lobby. This is the only convenience store in the vicinity, and it closes at 11 PM. Overall, the highlight of this hotel is its scenery. You can take your time to fully appreciate the beauty of Kobe Port – it's an experience worth having. The drawback is that it's a bit far from Sannomiya's shopping centers, which can affect your subsequent plans.

GGuest UserGreat hotel, great value for money, easy to find, convenient to the airport, clean and comfortable, great hot springs. The hotel is European style, spacious for 3 people, I was so happy that I forgot to take pictures of the room, but took pictures of the view outside the window!

EEuonchThe English proficiency of the local staff is appallingly bad. I went to drop off my luggage and was told I couldn't check-in yet as it was too early. After finally checking in, I discovered my room was right next to the elevator. When booking, I had specifically requested a room away from the elevator, quiet, and non-smoking. It's my fault for not reconfirming with them, so I had to drag my luggage back to the front desk to change rooms. The new room was still on the street side, right next to the elevated highway, and directly opposite Kobe Station – you can imagine how noisy it was. This is an old hotel that's been renovated. You don't need a key card for any of the elevators, so female travelers staying alone should definitely be mindful of their safety. The quality of the renovation can only be described with a 'heh,' the details are just dreadful. Forget the small details, the door wouldn't even close automatically; you had to manually push and pull it to make sure it latched properly. The mini-bar light switch had an intensely bright light that was dazzling at night. Amenities weren't replenished on the second day, not even the drinking water. The staff passage, which also serves as a fire escape, was left wide open until 8 PM, indicating a lapse in safety management. The water pressure and temperature in the shower were unstable – hot one moment, cold the next, and then the water flow would suddenly diminish. I don't even want to comment on the breakfast; it felt worse than what you'd get at a slightly better budget hotel. The only made-to-order hot dish was an omelet. Every single cup was endlessly covered in limescale and scratches.

GGuest UserThis is a recommended hotel for family trips. While making the entire building feel the history, the exterior and interior are very luxurious, and the site is also luxuriously used. Especially, it can be seen that it was a luxury hotel, such as the use of natural stones in the building and the wedding hall. I feel old due to aging, but the building is well maintained and clean. The hot springs have a strong spring quality and contain a lot of iron, so you can't see the bottom of the bathtub, and the ingredients are solidified outside the bathtub. It was an impressive experience for hot spring lovers. The customer service was very polite and we were happy to respond despite the late check-in. Breakfast was a rich lineup of Japanese and Western styles, and there were many kinds of drinks, and there were handmade dishes such as scrambled eggs and simmered pumpkins, and I was very satisfied with the number of items. Overall, I think it is a hotel with a high cost performance and more value than the price. It is also recommended as a base for accommodation from Kobe during the time when hotels in urban areas are soaring because it can be accessed in about an hour from the Osaka Expo venue.
