Hyatt Regency Hotels in Guiyang

Room: Stayed on the 27th floor in one of the executive rooms and it definitely was not executive. Luxury was definitely lacking as most of the interior in the bathroom/shower bath area was old and in need of help. The closet was so dusty inside too. However the room itself was nice enough with a big enough bed and a good view of the city. Complimentary fruit was there on arrival but compared to other executive rooms in hotels it missed the personal touch. The executive lounge on the 30th floor was fine enough with cakes, salad and some hot dishes alongside fruit and beverages. Would be nice if they offered wine though. Staff: staff here are wonderful. Very attentive and cheerful. Cleaners, waiters, reception and everything in between- all lovely people. Breakfast. The breakfast buffet is the highlight. Absolutely delicious and such a wide variety of to choose. Western and Chinese dishes are available with plenty of fruit and bakery items too. Fantastic. Location: Easy enough to reach plenty of attractions and snack street is very close by. Overall a pleasant stay.

One word to describe our stay at Maison Albar is spectacular. We received spectacular service, spectacular food and got upgraded to a spectacular room. Our concierge Alex, greeted us with warm smiles and helped us with everything thing that we needed. He ensured that our stay was comfortable, checked up on us in case we needed anything and was always available if need be. If I had to rate all of my stays in hotels throughout my life, I would definitely say that Maison Albar comes out on top. Their customer service is so phenomenal from the moment you enter to the moment that you leave. If I could live out of any hotel for the rest of my life, I’d choose this one. We stayed here for an occasion - a birthday celebration. We received complimentary drinks, cakes as well as dishes when we went for their exceptional 7-course fine dining experience. Eric, the manager of the restaurant makes sure to tell you what you’re eating, makes sure that you’re comfortable and makes sure that you don’t have any needs because everything is met before asking for anything. The room itself is meticulously clean, spacious they provide you with high end amenities, complimentary stocked up fridge and Maison Margiela products that leaves you with a naturally perfumed scent. I also love the the daily fruit, beverages and afternoons snacks that they leave in your room. If you are still feeling peckish after all this, you can pop into their French bakery on the ground floor, just in case you wanted an extra indulgence. Also, please also try out their delectable breakfast buffet spread. Thank you to the staff at Maison Albar for making us feel welcomed, comfortable and special.

We had a wonderful stay at the Anantara Guiyang. The facilities are gorgeous and the service was outstanding. We were there on a Monday and it was really quiet -- the hotel seemed pretty empty-- so not all of the facilities were open, for example the lobby bar was closed. But the staff went out of their way to ensure we were fed and happy. I think they kept the restaurant open just for us, it seemed. At the front desk, 小苹果 (who goes by ”Apple”) was outstanding. She made sure every element of our visit was good and that we were completely satisfied. We highly recommend staying here and at other Anantara resorts, they do a great job.

First of all, the location is OK. There are many food places downstairs. However, the attitude of the hotel staff needs to be improved. At first, I was given a room with poor hygiene. The sheets and quilt covers were wet. I called twice and the staff changed me to a dry room. I will not stay here again.

The environment of Guiyang Kempinski Hotel is really amazing, elegant and grand. The rooms are well-equipped, clean and tidy, and very comfortable to stay in. The waiters are friendly and efficient, making people feel at home. The breakfast buffet is rich in variety, a combination of Chinese and Western, especially the local snacks, which taste particularly good. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, and you can reach the city center when you go out, and there are all kinds of food, drink and entertainment around. In short, it was a very pleasant stay experience, and I will definitely choose here next time I come to Guiyang!

Everything was great. The only issue was the room was hot. AC wasn't doing its job. Called front desk. They sent a tech to adjust AC and brought a portable fan. Was able to cool the room down to acceptable level but not as low as we liked. Great breakfast buffet. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants. Very friendly staff.

First the part that I like - 1. Location is convenient: Subway station is right at the door, where you can arrive at major points of the city without many connections on the ground. 2. Food: One breakfast is included in my rate. Adding one costs only US$4. The variety of food is blowing me away. Without exaggeration you won’t repeat what you eat in a week if you pick only five items each day. Think about what’s provided in US hotel for $15. Only $4 here - unbelievable! 3. Staff are very courteous and helpful, from front desk to cleaning personnel, and room services. You’ll receive instant response to address your need whenever you raise it. 4. Facility: It was put in operation in 2022 so everything is new and maintained well. It had indoor swimming pool, gym, billiard room (even one for snook), and ping pong room. It is purposed to host large conferences/events. Now the part that I think they can do better - 1. Smoking: It’s not smoking prohibited hotel, which is pretty common in China, especially not the first tier cities. But they don’t assign some rooms to be non-smoking. Instead, all rooms are smoking permitted and it is allowed in most public areas too. Though this might be OK for domestic visitors, it can be an unflavored factor to people from abroad. 2. Laundry: It doesn’t provide self-served laundry. There is laundry service but it costs dearly going by items.

Satisfied, satisfied, satisfied!! This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. From check-in to check-out, the service staff are very friendly and efficient. The decoration of the hotel is very unique, elegant and low-key! The location of the hotel is also very convenient, whether it is taking a taxi or public transportation. The view of the hotel room is also good, and the service is worth mentioning. Laurie, the housekeeper, helped to arrange it very well, responded promptly, and provided attentive service. I strongly recommend everyone to choose to stay.

Front counter staffs very helpful. Breakfast was simple but good mix with local dishes with few pastry , of course coffees are available. Location is reasonably good can access with taxi n Didi. The old is no dressing table n luggage stand.
