Great value for money! The hotel is very new. We were upgraded to a suite with a sea-facing balcony, and the sea view was simply delightful. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, every dish was exquisitely prepared and delicious. We didn't try the dinner buffet, but there were plenty of convenient dining options nearby. The air quality was excellent, and the gym, sauna, and swimming pool facilities were fantastic. I'd love to come back with a bike next time to enjoy some cycling!

Facilities: The leather-covered bedside tables were damaged and left unrepaired, showing a clear lack of maintenance. Service: Food deliveries weren't brought to the room; I had to go downstairs to collect them. It was quite a scene, with about ten people gathered around the delivery locker, trying to find their orders. The bellhop service upon arrival was inconsistent; not all bellhops assisted with luggage, and their service standards seemed rather arbitrary and undefined. At 1 AM, the in-room phone to the front desk just gave a busy signal. I've never encountered such an issue before. I actually had to find their contact information on Ctrip to get through, which made for a very frustrating experience. I requested a late check-out and was told that extending until 6 PM would cost half the room rate. I then reminded them that I had been forced into a late check-in without any compensation. Only after this conversation did they reluctantly agree to a complimentary extension until 2 PM. Even then, I received calls rushing me to leave. Their blatant disregard for customer rights in favor of their room turnover made for an extremely poor experience. The hotel's elevator system was incredibly convoluted. You couldn't go directly to your floor; from the ground floor, you had to take a long detour to an elevator that only reached the third floor. Then, you'd have to walk hundreds of meters across the lobby to another set of elevators to access the guest rooms. Every step felt like an unnecessary obstacle course. In summary, the hardware was acceptable but poorly maintained, and the service was terrible.

The hotel environment was really pleasant. The best part was that the front desk initially upgraded our room. However, when we later found a minor cleanliness issue, the front desk was incredibly helpful and upgraded us again! Given it was a busy weekend with peak check-out, I totally understood the small oversight in hygiene. I would definitely choose this hotel again!

The hotel's location was great for my visit to friends, though catching a taxi back proved to be a bit challenging. The bathtub design was quite poor; it was slippery, and the extreme curve made it uncomfortable to lie down – my body was bent, and my head would get submerged if the water was too full. Aside from that, everything else was decent. I'd recommend adding razors to the amenities. Also, having only one tissue box in the room was inconvenient; I suggest placing one in the bathroom, on the desk, and on each bedside table.

The hotel facilities were modern, spacious, and stylish. The environment was peaceful and comfortable, complemented by a large balcony. Pillows and duvets were clean and pleasantly scented. However, the hotel staff's service fell far short of five-star standards, feeling quite unprofessional and lacking polish. The front desk phone often went unanswered, forcing me to go to the service desk on the 3rd floor for assistance. Room lighting control was rudimentary, offering only full on or full off. This meant fumbling in the dark for midnight bathroom trips, luckily saved by my phone's flashlight. Both the bathroom and balcony doors were difficult to open and close. The toilet area in the bathroom had no frosted glass, instead featuring a completely transparent door! This design severely lacked privacy, and closing the door produced a very loud noise. A single trip to the bathroom inexplicably required closing three separate doors. I requested more 3-in-1 coffee, but to my astonishment, they didn't even have coffee creamer. For a hotel of this caliber, failing to provide such a basic item to guests is simply unbelievable.

At breakfast, there were no staff members to seat us. Our room rate included one breakfast, but we were told we couldn't enter directly; we had to pay for the second person first before we could both go in. Processing the payment took five minutes, and even then, it wasn't smooth. The main issue was that three staff members at the entrance seemed unable to handle the payment efficiently, and it wasn't even peak dining hours. Eventually, they told us to go in first and that they would charge us later, but still didn't seat us. It felt bizarre – why were they letting us in *then* and still planning to charge us, after all that initial fuss? What was the point of holding us up in the first place? Were they playing games with us? InterContinental hotels typically seat guests first and then handle payment at the table. This was my first time experiencing such a cumbersome process, being made to wait at the entrance just to pay before being allowed in. The service standard for a brand under their umbrella is not yet where it should be; please improve this promptly. However, the room itself was generally satisfactory. All other hotel staff were very enthusiastic and polite. When we ran out of bottled water, a staff member promptly delivered more, and the person who brought the water was very courteous. The male receptionist was also very polite. The room had a great view, was very spacious with a large balcony, and was clean and hygienic. The only minor flaw was that the buttons in the room glowed exceptionally brightly even after the main lights were turned off for sleep. Perhaps they're designed to act as a night light.
