While the facilities at this nearby five-star hotel are a bit dated, they are well-maintained. The staff are professional and well-trained. The 258 RMB per person buffet dinner was excellent! I'll definitely stay at Guangdong Court again.

Absolutely terrible stay, completely overpriced! This recent stay was easily one of the worst I've ever had, definitely not worth the price tag. There were just too many problems to overlook: 1. **Dreadful Cleanliness:** The most disturbing thing was the hotel's swimming pool; it was filled with stagnant water, and the edges were completely coated in green algae. It was clear it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in ages. I wouldn't even think about swimming; just walking by made me feel queasy. My safety and health felt completely compromised. 2. **Lackluster Amenities & Poor Staff Attitude:** There wasn't even a basic power strip in the room; one was only brought after we specifically requested it. Furthermore, there were very few hangers. When I asked for an extra one, the staff member rudely refused, stating, "That's all we have, there are no more," displaying a completely unacceptable attitude. 3. **Appalling Customer Service:** When I ordered takeout, the front desk staff were incredibly unhelpful, explicitly stating they wouldn't deliver it to the room. The delivery robot was also out of service, forcing me to go downstairs myself to pick it up. When I tried to communicate, they showed zero customer service awareness, were impatient throughout, and completely disregarded guest convenience. 4. **Inadequate Basic Cleaning:** The room was visibly dusty; surfaces like the desk and windowsill were covered in dust – a quick wipe revealed layers of it. It was clear that the daily cleaning was superficial and perfunctory. This level of cleanliness is simply unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. I will absolutely never choose to stay here again! 5. **Unresponsive to Urgent Needs:** I had an urgent need in the evening and contacted the front desk for a sanitary napkin. They said they would "ask the housekeeping staff if they had any." I ended up waiting for a full two hours with absolutely no follow-up or reply. In the end, I had to urgently order some via a delivery app myself. I felt absolutely no regard from the hotel for guest needs and a complete lack of service responsibility! This was an all-around terrible accommodation experience. I will definitely never choose to stay here again and will warn everyone I know to steer clear!

As we were traveling with our child, the hotel staff called shortly after we booked to inquire about our room preferences. Upon arrival, the front desk informed us of a complimentary room upgrade, which perfectly met my preference for a quiet and safe environment. The room itself was excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay. We would definitely consider booking this hotel again in the future. However, a minor suggestion would be regarding the bedside power outlets; they were located underneath the nightstands, making it a bit inconvenient to charge our phones. Hopefully, this can be improved.

I highly recommend this amazing hotel! It boasts an impressive exterior and exquisitely designed interiors. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with all amenities, and the smart devices were a definite bonus. Louie was incredibly thoughtful during check-in, which was a wonderful surprise. The restaurant offers exquisite dishes with authentic flavors. It's fantastic value for money, and I'll definitely choose it for all my future trips! I'm truly incredibly satisfied, giving it a perfect five-star rating.
