Guangzhou International Financial City Linjiang Avenue Atour Hotel

I had an amazing stay at this hotel — what truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone went out of their way to make my trip smooth and comfortable, even though I faced a bit of a language barrier. A special mention to Bai Ya at the front desk — she was exceptionally kind, patient, and incredibly helpful. She not only assisted me with translations and local directions but also made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. Her genuine care and professionalism made a huge difference in my experience. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and ideally located, but it’s the team’s dedication to guest comfort that makes it truly memorable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area — especially for the outstanding service and the friendly staff who make you feel right at home.

BOOK IT!! I spent so much time researching places to stay while we were at Canton Fair that I literally booked our accommodation while we were in line to board our plane! And can I say, I AM SO HAPPY I BOOKED HERE AT ATOUR! The hotel is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We usually love to stay in places like the four seasons, Kempinski, Ayana etc. but this place was on par! The photos are EXACTLY what you get, however seeing the hotel in real life is much better. Everything is so clean and smells wonderful! It’s a total vibe with all the ambient lighting. The staff are so wonderful! And using translation apps were perfectly fine. They helped us navigate the food ordering app as they don’t have an English setting, and the river view was spectacular. I fell in love with the room! Breakfast was nice and the laundry was to die for! You simply drop your clothes off into a basket, grab the notepad and write your room and select what you need. They wash, dry, fold and deliver to your room the same day for absolutely no cost at all! Mind blowing. There is also a free shuttle to the fair that departs at 8:30 & returns at around 6pm. There’s a 7-11 across the way behind the Mercure, and The street vendors make delicious food for next to nothing and it’s all safe to eat (I know some people will be wary). Thank you for a wonderful 6 day stay Atour! We will definitely be back! FYI - We booked a corner city view deluxe room but wasn’t ready when we arrived, so I happily agreed to a river view deluxe room and oh my, it was perfect! We moved to the corner suite on our 3rd day which was amazing, but we actually fell in love with our first room even more lol. Also, we had a 9pm flight out on our last day, but with checkout being at midday, I asked if there was a possibility of a 5pm checkout instead. Obviously happy to pay an extra nights fee, but the staff immediately agreed without charging an extra cost. Truly grateful for this!
