U Hotel Penang Reviews

The hotel was okay for a short business trip. Room and cleanliness were average, not very impressive but acceptable. Location was fair, though a bit hard to find food or shops nearby. Service from the staff was good and friendly. Amenities were basic,enough for a simple stay, but nothing special. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re just looking for a quick and simple stay.

Location is good. Nearer to queenbay mall and nearer to airport. Rooms are smaller but just beside lotus. So good to go grocery there

Simple room, a lot of eateries around. There's a lotus nearby, very convenient.

A modern decent hotel in the area. Like the minimalistic interior design and 24 hour front desk. Do note that some room window is facing the corridor. May not enough car park for every guest during peak season. Iron and ironing board available in every room but not hair dryer.

Strategic location to George Town and airport with Grab pick up point. Clean rooms although small but suitable for 2 persons

Went for a short trip, friend recommended this ppace as is quite new. Friendly staff, clean room, and the surrounding area quite happening. Theres pasar malam on Saturdays just opposite the road Forgot to take pictures of the room but is nice Inly downsides are the outside noise is quite loud sometimes

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. Staff were polite, check-in was smooth, and the room had all the basic amenities except comb. Nothing fancy, but great for a simple, budget-friendly stay. Rating: 3.5/5

Check in bit late, and woke up in the morning , notice the bed sheet was actually dirty with black marks here and there, most likely was not replace. Since it was only one night stay, i just dont bother. Check out and that's it.

My stay at U Hotel was excellent! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room was small and had pungent smell upon entry. The aircond swinger cannot be adjusted and it was facing downwards to the wardrobe 🙂 so took some times to cool the room. I don’t expect much for this hotel as I’m staying here just because it was walking distance to my work, but at least the cleanliness and amenities should be good as the price was still 200++ without breakfast.
