Crowne Plaza Foshan Nanhai

Had a fantastic stay at the InterContinental Hotel! The lobby was elegant, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The dining options were abundant and delicious, the gym and pool facilities were excellent and refreshing, and the location was very convenient. I'll definitely choose it again for my next visit.

The service was excellent. The facilities were decent, and it's conveniently located near Guangzhou South Railway Station. The swimming pool was decent too. However, the quality of the disposable amenities has rapidly declined, and it's certainly not as good as Atour anymore. But I guess hotels are really struggling these days!

Choosing Crowne Plaza Foshan Nanhai for my stay this time was absolutely the right call! Its excellent location made it super convenient for getting around and handling my business. Jocelyn from Guest Relations was incredibly polite, greeting me warmly when I came down for breakfast. My room was spotless, the bedding exceptionally comfortable, and I slept like a baby all night. I'll definitely be back here on my next trip!

For an established hotel, this is simply unacceptable! 1. The shower water pressure was completely unstable! It would suddenly switch from scalding hot to ice cold, making showering a truly startling and uncomfortable experience. 2. What kind of room design places the AC vent directly above the bed? It was blowing straight at my head all night! I barely slept and, unbelievably, ended up catching a cold!

**Air Quality**: Some reviews mentioned a strong smell in the hotel. The hallways did have a slight renovation scent, but our room was fresh and clean, with no issues. **Room Facilities**: The room facilities were good, feeling relatively new but not overtly so – a standard five-star level. **Gym**: The gym was well-equipped with relatively new Precor machines; it had everything you'd expect. There was a water dispenser, but I didn't see any bottled water or towels, which was a slight downside. **Breakfast**: Three coffee machines – a definite plus! The variety was decent. I didn't try the pastries, but they looked very appealing. **Dinner**: With few attractive dining options nearby, we opted for dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant on the second floor. The ambiance was pleasant, the food was good, and the prices were reasonable. The freshly made egg tarts, in particular, were excellent and highly recommended. **Overall Service**: Excellent. Check-in was smooth, and they promptly registered my membership details and applied the corresponding benefits. I also called the front desk and easily extended our check-out by two hours, allowing us to enjoy lunch and a short rest before leaving. **Surroundings**: There's a lake nearby (likely artificial) where you can take a pleasant walk; the scenery is quite nice. **Overall**: A great choice for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Having a bathtub in the room is a huge plus for families with kids! The room was spacious, and there was even a sofa big enough for Dad to stretch out on. It was spotless, so you can book with confidence. We opted for a package deal that included both buffet dinner and breakfast, and both meals were excellent. Even though our little one didn't eat a lot, it was a huge relief not to have to worry about what to feed him. Plus, Wenhan Lake Park is right downstairs, which was incredibly convenient for taking the kids for a stroll!
