This hotel is beyond overpriced. I thought it was going to be a luxory hotel stay with 5* service but it wasnt. The room is as bog standard is it comes. The ocean view was really a partial view. The room smelt bad, like damp and the shower was the most complicated thing to work and the shower head could never be worked, only the rain shower option was doable. Whats worse is the room we were given was above the end of the restaurant. The restaurant workers would smoke below our balcony and that would waft up to our balcony. Moreover, it was a birthday stay and not once did the hotel do anything to recognize the birthday. Other hotels I have stayed in, in the past, would always provide complimentary cake or dessert or treats for a birthday. This hotel did absoultely nothing, despitw being informed. I would love to know how they get away with charging 5* prices without the 5* service. Highly dissappointing. The corridoors also are not kept up to standard and finding random holes in the ground was common.

A very nice hotel as a structure, located in a way not very convenient for the main attractions. They could include fins in snorkeling and give everything for more than 1 hour a day: these are very strange limitations for a structure of this level. It is probably still the best resort on the island of Tahiti

InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa Because I had to wait for another flight to my destination the next day, I just stayed one night on the way. I didn’t experience it carefully....but I did appreciate the beautiful landscape and the service of the staff.

The hotel is really old, probably from the 1990s; especially the bathroom, the toilet breaks down as soon as you press it. The hotel is not big and there is not much to do. When I went there, there were no projects on the shore because of the wind. I booked a tour around the island, but many places were closed due to strong winds. The strange thing is that it is understandable that outdoor places are closed, but why are museums also closed? Hotel breakfast and dinner were average If you want to stay on the main island, it is not as good as Hilton in terms of cost performance.
