We stayed for two nights, no room service. The front desk said that they do every two days, but charge resort fee. Tiny bathroom, trouble to turn around and close the door. Older rooms and not worth the price.

Very friendly all staff and cleaned room. Hotel located in doorstep 33 bus stop make easy everything.

There is an annoying “historical preservation” fee of $30 per night. I’m not sure what is being preserved… it feels like a resort fee, but without any amenities or benefits to show for it. And they don’t clean your room each night. Only once every third night.

Excellent service very clean .Hotel was A1. Helped with mother being hadicapped easy to move around and the room was fantastic..

The room facilities are too poor. The cabinet handle under the TV falls off when touched. The toilet tissue box is broken and old. I stayed there for three days in 2017 and felt good. I still choose this place. The good impression can only remain in my memory.

The location is great but they don't provide water in the rooms.

It was simply GREAT! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere. Everything was also very neat. We had booked a room with a king size bed and the room was very spacious, very handy if you travel with large luggage, the bed was also fantastic. Good mattress and pillows. We also ate in the hotel restaurant, personally I thought it was a bit too expensive and there were no other people there which made the atmosphere a bit strange. The parking of the hotel itself was also a bit on the pricey side.

Facilities are slightly old

The old hotel has been refurbished, but the refurbishment is very sloppy, and the corners are still very dilapidated and unclean. The bathroom sink itself has a small space, and the wallpaper on both sides is super dirty, with many black and red stains. The door of the bathroom seems to have a bunch of lumps from being too damp, so it is directly covered with new paint. The cover of the charging plug is not strong, and the back is dirty and dark. There were also stains on the quilt cover, and a sheet was placed underneath to cover the dirty quilt cover. 2. The quality/service attitude of the staff is impressive. Except for a few black ladies who clean up the house, who are nicer, one or two out of ten people pretend that their attitude is better, and the others are too lazy to pretend. When I moved to the ARC Hotel later, all the staff greeted each other with a smile and said hello to help carry the luggage. This hotel didn’t even have anyone to open the door😅 The hotel cleaners are outsourced, and there is no room cleaning after ten o’clock (the hotel we moved later was at three o’clock) Before, and it was informed when I checked in, not when I needed to chase them and ask). After hanging up Do Not Disturb, cleaning will still knock on the door very rudely early in the morning (some basically smash the door), and even the sign of Do Not Disturb has been taken away several times for no reason. I called the front desk and asked for a fork, but I was asked to go downstairs to get it myself. Later, I asked for it again, so I asked them to deliver it. After waiting for 20 minutes, I called again and said I can't wait here forever. I asked the front desk that the room was too stuffy, could the windows be opened, and the front desk said that I would find an engineer to open it for you (?), and then there was no more, and I suspected it was a yin and yang. I also called the front desk to ask what rate I want to stay for a few more days. The other party said that I don't know, don't ask me, and finally said to ask the manager the next day, which is really funny. 3. The net is really bad! It takes a long time to transfer a picture on WeChat! 4. Takeaways are not allowed upstairs. 5. The air conditioner is really too hot, and the room is very dry. 6. I understand that this is a hotel in DC, but it is really not possible to hang a huge portrait of Washington in a big bed room, and he will stare at him when he sleeps and changes clothes. 7. There is no canteen, and it is not convenient to buy water. There will be coffee downstairs at breakfast time, and you can drink hot water from the coffee machine. There is a hydration bar in the morning and in the afternoon, just a small bucket. Sometimes there is no water left when I go downstairs, and there is no water at all. They add it at will. The bucket was removed very early in the evening and replaced with a hot apple cider, which tasted rather strange, whether you like it or not. I asked the front desk if there was any bottled water for sale, and they said that the bottled water was packaged like a wine bottle in the room, and it cost $6 plus tax for 1L 😅 It’s really not as good as selling bottled water to me for so much money. Later, I moved to an ARC hotel outside the block, which was also a renovation of an old hotel. Except for the small room, there were no problems mentioned above. It’s just that this hotel is 8 too good everywhere. It’s not like me who live for a long time and want to be cheap. It’s better to avoid lightning. There is no need to do charity for this kind of place.

The location is very good and the service is good.
