The breakfast is really good! Also good options if you are lactose intolerant or can’t eat gluten. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are good. It would be nice to have more hooks or bars in the bathroom to hang towels and bathrobes.

Amazing hotel , so well positioned in location at the intersection for trams. Great food at the restaurant , amazing breakfast and such great reception at the concierge. They were ever so helpful , so professional and the rooms were brilliant . Thank you for the great service !

The reception staff are very helpful and forthcoming in providing prefessional services to guests. We enjoyed very much the nice breakfast of high quality in the cosy restaurant . The room was spacious and cleaned. The central location (close to bus/train stops) made it very easy to scenic spots . We made a very good choice of this hotel. The picture shows the dino outside the hotel which makes the environment relaxing.

Hotel at very convenient location, providing easy access to different means of public transport. Both the public areas and rooms of the hotel are clean and brightly lit. The room is very spacious indeed, and the water in the tub is strong and hot enough. The breakfast was on the whole good, except that there's some recurrent confusion in the order of omelettes because of seemingly poor coordination in the manpower and order-taking arrangements. Hope that could be improved.

Güzel bir karşılama sonrası güzel bir odaya yerleştim. Olanaklar çok iyi olduğu gibi kahvaltısıda muhteşemdi. Tren Gar ına çok yakın. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

Had a great stay at the Movenpick hotel. It’s so convenient (only few mins walk from the train station). The staff are helpful and also willing to answer our enquries. I will definitely recommend it to friends and families who will travel to Basel!

Great hotel with delicious breakfast. Scrambled eggs and good coffee. The gym was well furnished with many fitness machines and free bottled water. Sauna is unisex.

The location is convenient near the main train station. The building is also new and spacious. However the breakfast is really disappointing with flies flying around the food. it is not summer time not sure why so many flies in the breakfast area, especially the coffee machine, at least 5 to 6 flies are around it ! I didn’t eat much at the end ..see the photos for the flies

Very clean, nice spot right in front of the bahnhof. Wide and beautiful window view toward the Roche tower. Excellent service.

Mövenpick Hotel offers a strategic location, making it convenient for exploring the area. The breakfast is excellent, and the staff are exceptionally friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay. Perfect for both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel is within about 5 minutes walk from Basel SBB. It is so conveniently located that hotel guests could travel easily to different parts of the city using either the trams or the buses. Staff at the reception and the restaurant of the hotels are efficient, courteous and helpful. As we had stayed in rooms on the higher floors of the hotel, we could have a good bird eye view of different parts of the city in the daytime. In the evening on 31 July we could even watch the fireworks in our rooms. Breakfast is recommendable as there are sufficient variety of food items which are of good quality.

Hotel Movenpick enjoyed premium location thus allowing travelers to travel around in a timely and comfortable fashion. As regards the service performance by either the reception or waiters in its restaurant, I'm happy to remark that my experience was favorable. All of them are very forthcoming and nice in answering any of our queries. However, a demerit was casted over the service that we received from the dining experience as certain upsets was seen in delivery of proper orders to diners! The amenities within the entire Hotel was considered reasonably equipped. The guests rooms are clean, tidy and sufficiently lit. All in all, my recent stay with my family members was indeed great and we're certain that should we chance to visit Basel in the future, Hotel Movenpick will definitely be on our priority list.
