My 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected. The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds! I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights. The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer. Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

I went to Yancheng the next day to live in Mercure and it. I chose it because it was a luxury second. But I was a little disappointed. The pool was under maintenance. The hotel did not have medicine. The nearest hotel was 20 kilometers away. The hotel ordered food to enter the room and paid 15% service fee. To be honest, this is the first time I have encountered it. (Because the menu in the room is not marked) The waiter's attitude is okay. It is surrounded by the Yellow Sea Forest that saved my disappointment at the hotel.

The price is very high and the service attitude is very good. Free parking, very close to the city, the room is equipped with a bathtub 🛁, there are many fish soup noodle shops around. Very suitable for family and business travel

The spring trip at the end of March was a surprise at this hotel! The passenger flow was moderate in the early spring, the hotel was hidden in the green courtyard, and there was a more comfortable balcony. The cherry blossom-dappled trails were interesting with the water scene, as if you were in the city. The room hygiene is exemplary, the bedding exudes a fresh atmosphere after the sun, the bathroom facilities are as clean as new, the whole house is smart, and the small speaker is used, and there is basically no dust. The front desk took the initiative to receive, and when checking in, he took the initiative to provide a map of the surrounding area. He also sent us welcome fruits, hand-made gifts, not many varieties of breakfast, but the taste is not bad, recommended fish noodles, waffles, overall in line with the positioning of 4-star hotels.

This hotel personally feels very good, as soon as you enter the lobby, the young lady at the front desk is also very enthusiastic, the key is that the price is not expensive. If you have a chance, you will definitely choose this one next time.

The location of the hotel is very good. It's only a few minutes away from the expressway. I had dinner at the hotel. I was patient and meticulous in the ordering process. The dishes were quite satisfactory. The upgraded suite is very spacious. The room is well maintained. There are two bathrooms and a large bathtub. The baby took a bath. The fish noodle soup for breakfast was delicious. There were not many guests staying in the hotel. The service staff was good. The overall feeling was very good. Highly recommended!

[Happy] The main reason is that the hotel’s own Tanyue Restaurant is very attractive to me as a foodie! 🤔Room facilities: The double room booked has everything you need, except for the small refrigerator in the configuration, which is missing! Two bottles of free mineral water and toiletries! Overall, it is not a fashionable hotel type. It can be seen that it is a bit old! 🤔Value for money: What kind of bike do you want for less than 300 yuan a night? Not close to attractions, there are shopping malls nearby, parking is convenient, and the price/performance ratio is pretty good! 🤣Breakfast: There are freshly made Dongtai special fish soup noodles🍜You have to go deeper into the restaurant! This price is very affordable, there are pumping reading lights, night sensor lights under the bed, toilet heating, automatic pumping, very user-friendly. The breakfast buffet is rich, that is, the milk is a bit cold.
