When we went, it departed right on time, and the friendly front desk guy even walked us to the pick-up spot, though it was very close. The scenic bus ride to Base Camp takes about 40 minutes and the road conditions were great. The hotel's overall decor is a simple European style, with comfortable and warm colors. The room facilities are complete and well-maintained, with oxygen and underfloor heating both working effectively. What truly stood out was the centralized humidifier, the only one we encountered during our entire trip in Tibet, which made sleeping incredibly comfortable. The restaurant environment was also very clean. Before our arrival, they proactively contacted us with information about the hotel's location and check-in details, and even provided reminders about high-altitude precautions, showing great warmth and professionalism. Upon check-out, they thoughtfully provided glucose drinks, demonstrating truly comprehensive and personalized service. Honestly, I never expected such a comfortable hotel near Everest Base Camp. Highly recommended!"

"Let's talk about the accommodation first. Although there wasn't a private bathroom, I still found it quite comfortable. Figure 1 shows a rough overview of the camp. Our tent had six double beds, Figure 2 showed the communal dining table inside the tent, and Figure 3 showed the room (which only had a bed and two nightstands). The tent had a sink with a water heater next to it (Figure 6), as well as a basin and disposable basin cover (Figure 5), making washing quite convenient. The bathroom was portable and a little further from our tent, about a minute's walk. We couldn't find a shower, but at 5,000 meters above sea level, it's best not to shower. 😅
As for the value for money, we checked in around 3:00 PM and left at 12:00 the next day. We didn't have to worry about the bus's arrival time back in town. If the weather was good, we could easily watch the sunrise and sunset from Mount Everest. We didn't have to pay for two bus rides, which was equivalent to saving one. Minus the room rate, I think it was a good value."

The hotel's underfloor heating system transformed the cold highland nights into a cozy spring, and the smart oxygen supply equipment in every room was an absolute lifesaver – just a few minutes of oxygen when I had a headache made a significant difference.
From the front desk staff patiently explaining how to use the oxygen equipment to the easily accessible oxygen ports right by the bed, every detail showed thoughtful care for guests at high altitudes. Waking up to a golden snow-capped peak right outside the window and being greeted with warm tea upon returning in the evening – the balance between 'embracing the wilderness and ensuring safety' was perfectly struck.
Whether you're preparing for a trek or recovering after a climb, this is the ideal sanctuary. The blend of professionalism and genuine care made me feel the most solid and warm support in a place so close to the sky. I highly recommend it to every Everest traveler; it truly is the most reliable 'home' at over 4000 meters above sea level."

"Complete facilities, practical and trendy. The rooms are spacious and the decoration is simple and stylish. The bedding is comfortable and the quality of sleep is high. The air conditioner is stable in heating and cooling, and the noise is small; high-speed Wi-Fi is fully covered, and the office is smooth. The TV is clear, the hot water is sufficient, and the water pressure is stable. The hotel also has a 24-hour self-service laundry.
Warm and thoughtful service attitude. From entering the door to checking out, the staff are smiling and taking the initiative to greet. Check-in at the front desk is fast and efficient, answering questions patiently and meticulously, and responding to needs in a timely manner. The details are intimate and make people feel at home.
Overall, in the Everest base camp, Magnolia Hotel has performed well in health, facilities and services, and is very cost-effective. Live comfortably, rest assured and happy. I will definitely choose here next time I come to Everest. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

The entrance lobby is full of Tibetan customs, all kinds of Tibetan fragrances are neatly displayed, and the Tangka hanging paintings are full of atmosphere. The lobby also has a free tea break area, which provides hot tea, bread and pastries, and candy dried fruits all day long. You can stop and rest at any time to replenish energy on the way, clean and intimate.
The key point is to praise the intelligent delivery robot, the operation is simple and sensitive, takeaways, small items can be directly delivered to the door of the room, and even can help it pick up small snacks, saving the trouble of running back and forth, the ancient charm environment with intelligent service, the experience is directly full! "My trip to Mount Everest with my boyfriend was made doubly romantic by this hotel! The lovely owner took us to stargaze in the evening, and there was a bonfire party with lots of young people. The Milky Way was right overhead, and she even took some amazing photos of us. We watched movies together in the room using the projector – the atmosphere was fantastic. Waking up to snow-capped mountains and warming our hands with sweet tea was a truly unique experience. I highly recommend it to couples!"

The hotel's location is excellent; they can help arrange transportation to Everest Base Camp and drop you off right at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with complete and brand-new facilities. The room was very warm with underfloor heating, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and there was plenty of medical-grade oxygen, so I slept soundly all night. The staff were warm and attentive, efficient with check-in and check-out, and patiently answered all my travel questions. Even in winter, the breakfast wasn't bad; because there were fewer guests, the hotel offered a reservation system, allowing us to choose our own breakfast and avoid wasting food. Overall, it's excellent value for money, suitable for both business and leisure travel. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely choose this hotel again next time!"
