Wudang Mountain Golden Top View Tower (Golden Ding Scenic Area) Reviews

We are glad to have spent at least 1 evening in this hotel that we get to watch sunset & sunrise the next morning. It's the closest hotel to Jin Ding, so we get to see the top of the mountain before other tourists arrive. The room is very clean & the food is great there. We were very lucky the weather was great with clear sky.

do pack lightly if you plan to stay in the scenic area!!! because you need to take shuttle bus, ropeway to reach hotels the hotel was so kind to help move in luggage if you can arrive at scenic entrance before 7:30am on the check in and move out luggage after 5pm on our check out day the only bad things: breakfast is very limited, it starts at 7:30, but around 8, fried rice is gone, soya milk is gone bottle drinking water is also very limited

The second time that I booked a room at the top of the Wudang Mountains. Again I had a beautiful room with a nice view of the sunrise. Rooms are clean, not very spacious, but easily big enough for two persons. One thing most of the rooms have is an extra tea table, at the window. So you can sit there and enjoy the view and a cup of tea. The restaurant serves a variety of food, for breakfast there is a buffet with a variety of stir-fried vegetables, sausages, noodles, congee, buns soy milk and more. A good breakfast is important, if you hike then for a whole day in the Wudang Mountains. The staff was friendly and helpful and welcomed me warmly.

They gave me a nice room on my first day of stay but it is not very clean. The mat near the window is full of dust and sticky and I even found a little garbage on the mat. The next day they said I could not stay in the same room and kicked me to a room with the window facing the cable cars and the door near the reception where was noisy with people laughing and chatting. The bathroom is not up to standard with no shower door. I told them I could not accept that room which I paid for over 1,000 RMB a night. They said they could only provide anther room if I paid them extra money. I told them I could not accept it and would like to leave right away and asked trip.com for refund then they changed their mind and settled the case with a quiet room for me that night. The food was good but it was extremely expensive.

For sunrises and morning and evening classes, this hotel is in the perfect spot for viewing. You can see it right after getting off the cable car. After leaving your luggage, the climb up to the Palace of Supreme Harmony takes about five minutes, and reaching the Golden Summit takes about 10-15 minutes, depending on your fitness level. The best part was the hotel's breakfast. It was so filling, my kids and I raved about it. We also had dinner at the hotel. The hostess offered suggestions and told us you couldn't finish the food if you ordered too much. It's especially important to note that getting up from such a high mountaintop isn't easy. While the prices are a bit high, the portions are generous, and they're a great place to stay! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel is right next to the cable car station, which makes it very convenient to go up and down the mountain. Although we couldn't see the sunrise due to the weather, the stay was still very comfortable. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, and the food in the restaurant was also good. It is worth recommending!

It's very close to the Golden Temple, just a few steps away. The room is nice, but you need good weather to see the view. It was foggy when I stayed there! It depends on fate.

The sunrise viewing room is perfectly located, and the service is attentive (we contacted them in advance to provide travel precautions). Dinner was affordable and delicious. The tea table offers a beautiful view, allowing you to enjoy the natural scenery while sipping tea, and even see the beautiful starry sky at night.

The room was clean and well-equipped, though there were occasional bugs from the mountains, so I had to check the covers before going to bed. The small courtyard at the door was a convenient spot for watching the sunrise, and the food was excellent. The portions were generous, enough for a family of three, with one meat and one vegetable. The chicken soup was delicious and reasonably priced.
