"Run by a very friendly young couple! I came from wudang west station, took a bus to the wudang scenic spot and the owner came to pick me from the bus station right outside wudang scenic spot. It's about a 2 min drive to the property. Location is very good, love that it is so near the wudang mountain scenic spot. There's a small staircase about 20m from the property that leads you all the way up to the scenic spot parking area. If you wanna pop by their 'city area', it's about a 15min walk to the walking street. Definitely recommend!"

"Yun Wai Mountain Residence is highly recommended. The hotel is located at the Qiongtai Scenic Spot, approximately 300 meters from the base of the cable car and 50 meters from the bus stop, at an altitude of nearly 1000 meters. This is an ideal location for exploring Wudangshan. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very helpful. I was repeatedly and pleasantly surprised by how much everyone cared for a foreigner without any knowledge of Chinese. The hotel's restaurant offers local and Taoist specialties. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is elegant and meditative. The rooms are spacious with fantastic mountain views. I felt very comfortable for a week – nothing was lacking. Bonus: the five cats also take excellent care of the guests, especially during nighttime strolls. Note: you must take the last bus to the cable car (Qiongtai) at 5 pm, otherwise you will remain in the valley (no exceptions)."

"This was a very satisfying stay. On the first day, we took our time exploring Nanyan Palace and stayed here overnight, which made it very convenient to climb Golden Summit on the second day! The owner heard we'd be hiking with luggage and even helped us transport our bags down the mountain, and provided trekking poles. With these two aids, I was able to reach Golden Summit in just over 3 hours. Staying here was truly convenient, and I'm sincerely grateful! The owner also gave us a lot of useful travel information. Booking this guesthouse was definitely the right choice; my trip to Wudang Mountain was very enjoyable! 🍒 In summary, this guesthouse offers convenience, a great environment, excellent service, and a wonderful owner. Here's a more detailed review for your reference: 🐾 **Service**: The owner was incredibly accommodating and always considered the guests' needs. We arrived early before the previous guests had checked out, but when they learned we needed to drop off our luggage to go hiking, they immediately upgraded us to a scenic room so we could check in right away. We also ordered breakfast and dinner from the guesthouse, and the owner even gave us a discount. 🐾 **Location & Environment**: The guesthouse is conveniently located between the pick-up and drop-off points for Nanyan Palace scenic area. It's backed by the mountains, making it very quiet. The mountain view from our scenic room was fantastic; on a clear day, you can even watch the sunrise from bed, haha! 🐾 **Facilities**: The room was well-equipped, including a large projector. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was very clean. **Additional note**: Since it's currently the off-season, the owner offered special discounted rates, making the stay excellent value for money."

The staff is genuinely very friendly and helpful. I came to Wudangshan to decompress and had such a wonderful experience at this hotel, I definitely plan to return. Some activities the hotel has for free includes taichi lessons and having tea with snacks!"

"The rooms are clean and the courtyard is quiet; the environment is really nice. The whole family who runs the place is very welcoming. The home-style breakfast was delicious and very comforting. It's super convenient to get to the Wudang Mountains scenic area as the owner provides direct shuttle service. One night, we went to town for fish and came back late, and the owner's sister personally picked us up. Many thanks! Next time I come to Wudang, I'll definitely stay here again."

What truly makes it stand out is the lovely owner who offers complimentary shuttle service. The room is very spacious and well-equipped, with clean and tidy bedding. There's also a large bay window, big enough for someone to sleep on. The hotel has its own restaurant, serving delicious lunch and dinner in addition to the complimentary breakfast. This hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended."

"The view is absolutely worth the price. The room is impeccable, right on the mountain, and it's incredibly convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset. For those who don't want to hike, this place is absolutely first-rate. The facilities are unmatched on the mountain. One thing to note is that the cable car stops running at 4:30 PM, and the shuttle bus from the base of the mountain to the cable car takes at least 50 minutes. It's best to arrive early, otherwise, carrying your luggage up the mountain when the cable car stops will be hellish!"

"The room was clean and tidy, and the landlady was very attentive and thoughtful; she even arranged for our shoes to be cleaned in the room when they got dirty. The hotel is very close to the scenic area, and there are many good restaurants nearby, including authentic Xiangyang beef noodles, which were delicious. The landlady even gave us a deck of cards so we wouldn't get bored on the road."
