Hotels in Upper Section of the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, Dali

Room size is pretty standard but toilet/shower area is quite big. During winter, I hope that they have a heated bed but thanks to Dali weather, all is good. The location of this hotel is amazingg, right infront of Erhai lake. You can rent bicycle for 40 yuan but somehow you cannot rent a scooter coz they need an ID for that. This hotel provide simple breakfast like porridge, stir-fry vegetable, eggs, etc. The landscape of the hotel is also beautiful. Just be prepared to carry your own luggage upstairs as they do have elevator. I somehow still recommend this hotel due to its location.

The hotel is in an excellent location. The public terrace and the guest room balcony can all see the S-bend. The guest room design is very beautiful and reasonable. The bedding is soft and hard enough. The pillow is ergonomic and comfortable for the cervical spine. There is free coffee and snacks. I stayed for three days and had dinner in the hotel restaurant for two days. The set meal I ordered was delicious. The Erhai crucian carp tofu I had on the second day was so delicious. The fish was tender and the soup was fresh. I recommend it. The waiters are very enthusiastic and thoughtful, especially the young man at the front desk, who tries his best to meet the guests' requirements, responds to requests, is very polite and has a sense of professional responsibility. It was a pleasant experience.

Absolutely stunning resort-like hotel beside Erhai Lake. Great view from room and can even catch the sunrise. What’s most amazing is the service from staff, they are super helpful. The staff (including ladies) are proactive in carrying luggage and they also helped to book my transport to my next hotel. There was a mini bar in the hotel with unlimited drinks (including beer) and light snacks. My parents were delighted and I’ve glad to have booked this accommodation. It’s a distance from Dali train station, so if you’re headed to Lijiang, recommend to take car instead of train. Overall, superb hotel and service. Thank you!

Traveling with parents, staying at Yunqi Dali Seaview Hotel (Location: Erhai West-Ma Jiuyi). The purpose of choosing this hotel is, first, to enjoy the sunrise of Erhai Lake. Second, it is convenient to take parents to visit Erhai West attractions. Yunqi Dali also has a store in S Bay, but S Bay is crowded and noisy. After leaving the hotel in Ma Jiuyi, you can reach a great place to watch the sunrise (7 am) within 400 meters, and there are a few seagulls. The sunset is behind Cangshan Mountain, which can set off the continuous peaks. The hotel is very comfortable. I will contact you in advance to send the hotel location and check-in instructions. On the second day of my trip to Dali, I chose this eco-friendly homestay which is very close to S Bay. As soon as I parked the car at the door, the owner came out enthusiastically to help with the luggage. The small courtyard as soon as I entered the door made me feel fresh. The area around the homestay was very quiet, and I slept comfortably for a night (a small incident happened during this period. Due to my poor driving skills, my tires got stuck in the roadside drainage ditch when I was reversing in front of the homestay. The owner and his wife heard the noise and came to help push the car. There were thoughtful guest items and welcome fruits. I really liked the configuration of the bathtub and speakers. Taking a bath while listening to music was relaxing and comfortable. The butler service was attentive and warm. The breakfast was exquisite and rich. I love so much! There is an ecological corridor just outside the door. It is so pleasant to have a vacation here! The scenery in front of the door is superb, much quieter than S Bay. But it is not remote, very quiet from S Bay, but there is a piece of wetland green grass in front of the door, which is very pleasing to the eyes. The store manager is also very good. The B&B is great and is recommended to friends who want a quiet vacation. The B&B is located in Jiangshang Village, a relatively quiet location on the west bank of Erhai Lake. There are not many tourists. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the room and balcony, or you can go downstairs and sit by the water to enjoy it quietly. Beautiful view of Erhai Lake. Compared to the crowded internet-famous section on the south side of the west coast, this place is really comfortable. The transportation is also very convenient. The ecological corridor is right outside the door. There is a corridor bike rental point about two or three hundred meters away. It is very convenient to ride on the west bank of Erhai Lake. We stayed for two nights and rode for three days, haha. It is also relatively close to Xizhou Ancient Town, and it only takes about ten minutes by taxi or electric motorcycle to get there. However, it is quite far from the Dali Ancient Town. Considering the traffic jam during the peak season, it would take more than an hour to take a taxi one way, so we gave up. But I think it’s enough to just visit the ancient city and visit Xizhou✌️ The owners of the B&B should be a couple. They are very welcoming and I can see their smiling faces every day when I go downstairs. The layout of the room shows great care in the selection of items, and the disposable items are very fully prepared. This time I brought my mother here, and we were all very satisfied with the stay~
