When my child and I decided to visit Dali, I researched many hotels. While chatting with a friend, I found out she'd stayed here last year and highly recommended it to me. I was immediately drawn to it after seeing the photos, especially with Erhai Lake right in front of the hotel. The hotel staff were wonderful; a young man proactively helped us with our luggage and eagerly answered all our travel-related questions. The hotel boasts excellent facilities, comfortable bedding, and the breakfast spread was incredibly generous – we couldn't possibly finish it all each day! The rice noodles, in particular, were absolutely delicious.

Facilities: The facilities are all brand new, and they even have a projector. Cleanliness: Immaculately clean. Environment: The setting is perfect, boasting stunning sea views through large floor-to-ceiling windows. The downstairs restaurant is even more charming; it's so picturesque that many passersby often stop to take photos and 'check in' on social media. On a rainy day, sitting in the restaurant and gazing at Erhai Lake, I could just zone out. The famous 'S-Bay' (an internet-famous spot) is just about 1.9 km to your left as you exit. You can rent bicycles right at the entrance, or walk a few steps to grab a shared bike or electric scooter. Service: The owner is exceptionally kind. When he heard we'd brought our running gear, he enthusiastically suggested various running routes. Afternoon Tea Set: Exquisite, beautifully presented, and delicious.

The room is clean and spacious, with two extra-large windows from which you can overlook the snow-covered Cangshan Mountain. You can overlook the Erhai Lake from the rooftop. It is only one minute away from Erhai Lake. It is convenient and fast. You can watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. It is so happy!

Great place to wind down and bask in the tranquility, which is directly beside 洱海. Breakfast was a spread albeit simple, which made starting the day easier. We also deposited our luggage after check out in order to continue our day, and upon returning, they kindly drove us to a drop off point. Would come back here for a longer period next time!

Choosing this B&B for our family trip was truly a brilliant decision! It absolutely deserves a perfect 10/10! Our entire family was incredibly satisfied, especially with the breakfast and afternoon tea. Not only was there a wide variety of dishes, but the presentation was also exquisite. Each meal was a delightful surprise, and both the kids and adults loved them. The B&B host was exceptionally warm and friendly, just like someone we'd known for ages. They proactively checked in on us every day, and knowing we were on a family trip, they thoughtfully recommended many worthwhile local attractions. They even suggested authentic and high 'value for money' restaurants, helping us plan an incredibly smooth itinerary and saving us a ton of effort. Every day we stayed felt so cozy and comfortable. The overall experience was absolutely five-star, and we'll certainly choose this place again on our next visit!

The location of the homestay is very good, and the service is very enthusiastic. You can contact them if you have any questions. The car rental company we cooperate with is also very reliable and has no routines. There is a free unofficial parking spot two minutes' walk from the hotel. You can navigate to that location to park whether you take a taxi or drive yourself. The space is sufficient. Four minutes' walk is the shared electric car parking spot in the west of Erhai Lake, where you can rent and return shared electric cars. There are some local restaurants within a five-minute walk, which are also recommended on Xiaohongshu, such as Xiu Se Ke Can. The hotel provides afternoon tea. You can sit on the chairs on the first floor of the hotel to rest, work, etc. Facing Erhai Lake, the location is excellent. You can also buy a cup of coffee and rest on the recliner, which is very comfortable. The room facilities were excellent; it was very spacious with large, floor-to-ceiling windows. Opening the window immediately offered stunning views of Erhai Lake. The local dishes recommended by the owner were also delicious. Lao Yang BBQ is located right near the guesthouse. Unfortunately, it only seems to open around 6 or 7 PM, so I only managed to eat there once. Renting electric scooters was incredibly convenient; you could get them directly from the guesthouse and easily ride to Dali Ancient Town and Xizhou Ancient Town.

The day I arrived in Dali, the sky opened up like an overturned inkwell, drizzling with a biting chill that instantly shattered my eagerly anticipated travel plans. Dragging my soaking wet luggage and feeling utterly miserable, I took a Didi to the Haiyi Guesthouse entrance. Seeing Erhai Lake completely devoid of its usual blue only made my mood sink to rock bottom. During check-in, a friendly young man at the front desk enthusiastically helped me carry my luggage upstairs. With a warm smile, he softly offered, ”It's easy to catch a cold on a rainy day. Let me brew you a pot of flower tea to warm you up – you can experience the taste of Yunnan.” His simple words instantly dispelled the chill and irritation I had been feeling. The sea-view room I checked into was an even bigger surprise. Opening the window, Erhai Lake was a poetic blur in the rainy mist, and Cangshan Mountain in the distance was shrouded in clouds, unfolding before my eyes like a traditional ink wash painting. My previously foul mood, caused by the rain, gradually softened and found peace amidst this stunning view. The room was exquisitely decorated and incredibly cozy, with soft bedding, thoughtful aromatherapy, and even a handwritten welcome card. Every single detail made me feel truly warm and cherished. The guesthouse's service was truly impeccable. Upon learning that my plans were disrupted by the rain, the front desk staff enthusiastically helped me plan an indoor itinerary, recommended nearby cafes and bookstores worth visiting, and even thoughtfully provided an umbrella and raincoat. In the evening, with the rain still falling, other guests and I gathered in the lobby, listening to the rain and gazing at the sea. The guesthouse owner joined us, engaging everyone in wide-ranging conversations, transforming what could have been a solitary trip into a lively and interesting one. The next morning, the rain had stopped. Standing on the guesthouse's terrace, watching the sunlight sparkle on the rippling Erhai Lake and breathing in the fresh air, my heart was filled with contentment. This trip made me realize that, while things often don't go as planned, what truly matters isn't the destination or a perfectly crafted itinerary, but the mindset and mood throughout the journey. It was a profound realization, fostered by warm care and an unforgettable experience. If given the chance, I will definitely return. I highly recommend this guesthouse to every friend visiting Dali, as I believe you too will encounter your own wonderful and cherished moments here!
