The owner was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. He proactively reached out to confirm our arrival time and shared the closest drop-off point. Upon our arrival, he even met us with an umbrella and helped carry our luggage. The accommodations featured smart toilets, and the courtyard boasted a lovely ambiance—a quiet oasis amidst the bustle. The rooftop offered stunning views, perfect for taking photos. He also offered valuable dining tips for the ancient city and, to our surprise, presented us with a thoughtful souvenir upon check-out. We're so grateful for this warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home in an unfamiliar city. 👍👍👍👍👍

This charming B&B is run by locals and is set in a beautiful, traditional Bai ethnic house. Its location is superb, tucked away in an alley directly opposite the South Gate of the Ancient City. However, it can be a bit tricky to locate initially. The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly; he even guided us to the correct address over the phone and helped us arrange parking. As a thoughtful gesture, he gave us a box of local flower cakes when we checked out. Stepping out of the B&B, you're immediately on a lively street packed with restaurants and shops, making everything incredibly convenient.

The room was very clean, the star room was booked, the skylight was open at night to see the stars, the rooftop was also very beautiful, the room could see Cangshan, I forgot to take the coat when I left, the innkeeper also helped me mail it back, the location of the inn I feel very good, Although in the ancient town, it is not noisy at all, a place to be quiet in the middle of noisy

My stayed at Yuntang Luxury Resort Hotel in Dali was fantastic. The hotel is located right in the heart of the ancient town, which makes it very convenient. The room was big, clean, and very comfortable. The bed was soft, and everything looked nice. The staff were friendly and helped me with anything I needed. The hotel is close to Erhai Gate and good places to eat. I had a quiet and relaxing time. I would love to stay there again.

Hotel staff are super attentive and friendly. They would greet us every time we enter, asking if we need anything to make our stay better. The hotel service is amazing. For such an affordable price, we are given free breakfast,tea break and desserts were also offered every night. Hotel also have a gym, massage chair and a pool. Breakfast can be topped up for free if we do not feel full. The hotel also offered free pick up from the railway station all the way to the hotel! Would definitely come back here!! 10/10 will recommend.

The guesthouse is conveniently located near Dali Old Town's South Gate, just a 10-minute walk directly into the Old Town. This makes exploring popular spots like Renmin Road and Foreigner Street incredibly easy. Free parking is available right at the entrance, making it ideal for those traveling by car. You'll also find a variety of distinctive restaurants and convenience stores nearby, ensuring all your dining and daily needs are met. It's a private, stand-alone courtyard house, beautifully surrounded by flowers and succulents, and even features a lounge chair facing Erhai Lake – truly embodying that soothing Dali charm. I must give full marks to the mattress and pillows! They had just the right firmness and provided excellent support for my back and neck. I stayed for three nights and enjoyed perfect sleep every single night. Considering the free parking, the easy walking access to the Old Town, the tranquil courtyard, and the thoughtful service, it was a truly satisfying trip.

the hotel is beautiful both in the common areas and in the room itself. the room is spacious and the toilet is huge. we got an upgrade during our stay. hotel has an life so no worries about handling your luggage. there are a lot of food options nearby and it is just off the street from the old town. about 15min walk will get you to the main old town spot. the breakfast was delicious. a selection of cooked food and you can order noodles at the main desk. simple afternoon tea with a light snack. we did not get to use the hanfu experience but it is a nice bonus.

Had a wonderful stay in Yunduan Nanshe Homestay. They offered transport from train/airport to their Homestay which made planning more fuss-free. Location was very accessible, about 10min walk away from Dali Ancient City. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended 🤗

The room exceeded my expectations. On the first day, we stayed in a standard family room, but the owner, seeing our large family, kindly upgraded us for free to a deluxe family suite, so I decided to extend our stay for two more days. I'd particularly like to mention Sushe's courtyard. We were on the third floor, which featured a charming little balcony. Waking up in the early morning and opening the bedroom door, the majestic, verdant Cangshan Mountain, shrouded in swirling mist, immediately filled my sight. It felt as if the clouds and mist were so close, you could reach out and touch them. The air was crisp and fresh. Cangshan Mountain, the ancient city, and the lively human scene were all laid out before my eyes. Of all my experiences in Dali, this early morning glimpse was surprisingly the most captivating, and absolutely worth every moment. The room also came with a tea set and quality tea leaves. I brewed a cup, sat amidst the stunning scenery, and savored Dali's unique, mellow ambiance... The fourth floor also boasts a spacious rooftop terrace. It's adorned with succulents, a large square table, a swing, and colorful lights – it would be absolutely wonderful for a lively get-together with friends in the evening.

After a long and tiring journey from Sichuan, where I hiked many mountains, I was so glad to find such a restful stay here. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and all the room amenities felt high-quality. Even small details like the hairdryer, toothpaste, and dental floss were of excellent quality. The location is near the South Gate of the ancient city. Honestly, it's not right in the absolute center, but it's great because there are many restaurants and small shops around. It's convenient and safe, and surprisingly quiet at night. I can truly say it was the best night's sleep I've had in a long time. P.S. The complimentary dessert upon check-in was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast rice noodles were also delicious – the chef (auntie) is an excellent cook.
