We are so in love with the whole place. It reminded us of the show “Meet yourself” and the romantic relationship between the 2 main characters. Staffs were friendly and helpful even though we had to use translation app for communication 😅 The complimentary afternoon tea is delicious. We tried the photoshoot servive which offered 5 free photos however we ended up taking so many photos and had to pay for the extra including editing. It was worth it because the photos were so beautiful. We also received a gift upon check-out. Nothing much at night because the whole village was in darkness after 8pm. Overall, it was such amazing experience staying at Youfeng. Thank you so much!

In love with the place! We booked 2 nights here due to 去有风的地方 and had the most wonderful experience. Was told Rooms 5 & 6 were originally xiezhiyao’s room. The booking allows us access to Youfeng which is just right beside. The service and amenities were great, allowing us all the modern comforts that we need. Complimentary free afternoon tea and photoshoot are provided. The photos taken were so good that we ended up paying more to have more. The place is very quiet and can get quite dark outside of the compound at night, so do make dinner plans early. Not many dinner options nearby but we managed to find a pretty good dinner spot near by.

If you're a fan of Meet Yourself c-drama, you would love the experience of staying here. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they will fetch you from the drop off point to carry your luggage all the way back to the hotel (as the path is super rocky). But there's nothing opened at night, so you will have to travel out for food.

Very good service offered by the hotel, from pickup to drop off from the train station. Breakfast is nice and the accommodation is cosy.

“Meet yourself” with LiuYifei brought me there. Still cannot believe that I had 1 night at the same place with the cast :)) as my whole trip to Yunnan was to follow Xu Hongdu & Xia Zhiyao’s story. Appreciate that they turned the filming locations into such a beautiful, cosy and modern boutique home yet still maintain how the characters’s room appeared in the series. The home staff contacted my a few days prior to my checkin to inform me that I was upgraded to the actual room of Xia Zhiyao 🥰 and was really nice to pick us up at the entrance of the village as with big luggages and bumpy rocky road you would find it difficult to reach the home. The staff here are several youngsters working at Youfeng courtyard so they were kind of helpful to accomodate any of your requests just to be sure to use Translate app. My room was actually half of Xia Zhiyao’s room (35m2) as nowadays the host split it into 2 difference rooms. The room’s vibes was like at a 5star hotel with everything you need but of luxurious quality ^^ The breakfast was hearfully warm and delicious, prepared by grandma by the house kitchen. I love the goodie such as postcard and magnet, so pretty. And was offered one way transfer from/to airport also. Come to Youfeng courtyard to live like Xu Hongdau, you wont regret it. I will definitely comeback and stay longer.

Boutique hotel made popular as it was featured in a tv series. Queues of people taking photos in front of it. It is quaint and beautiful but the rooms are rather cosy for the high price. Breakfast is decent and they include a bunch of freebies such as professionally taking photos and airport/train station transfers in the room booking. Location isn't the best if you want to be near the main sights but it can be a nice experience to live away from the most touristy areas. Stay if you like the vibes but you'll likely get better value for money elsewhere if you're not a fan of the tv series.

I watched the drama and was curious. It's a very nice place ... but I think one night is sufficient.

Environment: This B&B is the real-life filming location of the Windy Courtyard in "Go to a Windy Place". The investor is a film and television company, and it was directly transformed into a place that can be used for external reception after the TV series was filmed. The courtyard in the play is currently the front desk of the B&B, and afternoon tea can be provided to receive individual guests. The rooms of the main and supporting characters in the play are open to visitors but cannot be accommodated. In the play, Xie Zhiyao's house and the courtyard are separated by a wall, which is the room of the current B&B. The entire external environment almost restores the scene in the play. Facilities: Although it looks simple from the outside, the interior of the room is still quite exquisite, but the area is a bit small, which is only suitable for 1-2 people. Service: The hotel provides butler service. Because there are less than 10 rooms, every guest can be taken care of. In addition, free parking, breakfast, afternoon tea, and travel photography are also provided (5 free photos, 20 yuan/photo for negative film, 30 yuan/photo for fine-tuning, it is best to make an appointment in advance). If you are a single guest, you must purchase an afternoon tea package to enter the courtyard, so there are very few people in the courtyard, and it pays great attention to the experience and privacy of the guests. In general, Youfeng Courtyard allows residents to immerse themselves in the peaceful life in the drama, maximizing the emotional value.

The environment is very good. I experienced the same courtyard as in the TV series. There are souvenirs and photo taking services. By the way, the afternoon tea is very delicious! Pick-up service is also available. When I arrived at the B&B, someone would help me carry my luggage. It was about a hundred meters, and the guy helped me carry it in. Even if I checked out, he would help me carry my luggage out. Souvenirs were also given. In short, I would like to stay in this B&B again in the future.

Very good 👍🏻, beyond expectation! Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, helped us with our suitcases in and out of the courtyard, arranged a driver to take us to the train station, arranged afternoon tea time, etc.! Good value for money! I will definitely stay here again next time!

I can only say it is stunning. The travel photography is amazing. Every service staff is very nice. They took good care of us. The food is delicious and the environment is clean. Definitely

The guys in the store are very friendly. I have three heavy boxes to carry in and out. The road is not easy to walk on. I have to carry them. Haha, it's awesome. The advantage of living in a courtyard is that you can have the feeling of renting the whole place. Perfect. Enjoy it to your heart's content. The breakfast at Auntie's is also delicious. The quantity is too much to finish. The afternoon tea desserts in the courtyard are so delicious. They look good and taste good. 🈶

The airport pick-up service is very considerate. Our plane arrived late, and it was even later to drive all the way to the courtyard. The guy picked us up at the intersection, and the driver helped us carry our suitcases all the way to the courtyard. Room 5 is on the first floor, which is very convenient. There is a large bathtub, and it is super comfortable to take a bath with bath salts! There are welcome fruits, afternoon tea and photo taking. The photographer took a lot of photos, and every scene in the play was taken, perfect check-in. The guy in the courtyard worked night and day shifts, very dedicated, and also introduced us to the fun places in Dali, thumbs up. There is a grilled milk fan sold at the back door of the courtyard, which is super delicious! The condensed milk tastes a little sweeter~ You can also stroll and take photos on the street downstairs in the courtyard~

Service: Very comfortable. From check-in to check-out, the guys were so considerate and full of details... As a Cantonese, their attitude is impeccable. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: The tone of the ancient village is completely preserved without any artificiality. The flowers, trees and decorations are very well matched. Facilities: The stay is comfortable, and the afternoon tea and breakfast are also very satisfactory. I really want to give special praise to the service here, the guys are super diligent.
