Hostel is in excellent area of Shijo where Gion Kyoto is walkable and the Gion free walking tour is excellent to understand the geiko/maiko ecosystem. The hostel is not so clean and service is below par but cuisine food around the area is cult chefs standard so quite happy with the quality.

A very clean and organised accommodation. The dorms were nice, with curtains over our beds, which increased our privacy. Free large lockers in the rooms, requiring your own lock. There wasn't a lot of space for baggage, especially suitcases. Free green tea in the shared common area. Not a very social hostel. Staff were friendly however their English was limited. Be aware that all accommodation in Kyoto has a tourist tax, so you will be charged more when you arrive. There was multiple stations within walking distance (500m to 1km).

Nice little hostel for budget travellers. Quite full so book in advance. Very friendly staff.

Quiet and clean space for solo travellers!

1.The price is matching its situation, cost efficiency is not bad. 2.but the reception is too careless, it led me have to look for another restaurant in the last night, because she forget to extend my order for one day. That make huge budget pressure on me even I can’t bear.

The location was good . And room was clean.

I loved everything! The place is clean and close to the Gion matsuri, so when we arrived, it was just happening outside. They had a kitchen, clean bathrooms, and showers with tubs. Plus, there's a small izakaya next door that we loved just as much. The staff was very friendly. We'll definitely come back next year, but for longer this time.

Very suitable for a single person to stay, there are beautiful Chinese ladies and Japanese handsome guys at the front desk, the hygiene is good, someone cleans every day, and there is a public activity area

It was a dormitory-style room, but the bed was large and nice. I wish the toilet was a little larger. The air conditioning was too strong and it was a bit cold. I had to be careful about the temperature setting. The receptionist was Chinese, and he explained things to me in Japanese. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Breakfast is not included, but it was nice to have a convenience store nearby. Access to the station was also good. It was a dormitory style room, so I thought there would be other people there, but there was no one there, so I was able to use it comfortably.

The room is a bit small, but it is just right for two people. It is very clean overall. You can store your luggage on the first floor, but there is no one to watch over it. The location is very convenient.

I will have to use it again on June 13th as it will be combined with an airline ticket, but I will never use it again. The customer service is too bad.

The toilet is very small and the space doesn't seem very comfortable. Bathroom facilities are shared with others. This time we stayed in a double room and couldn't spread out our luggage, so it felt very crowded.

The hotel front desk has very limited staff time, and no one is seen during the day, so don't expect any service. You have to pay city tax when you arrive. The room is really very small. There are two toilets and a shower room on each floor, and you often have to queue. The room is really small!!!
