I was assigned a room on the first floor, which had an extremely pungent smell of paint. The electric heater made a sizzling sound every few minutes at night, waking me up several times. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The bathroom has no ventilation system and smells bad.

Nos hospedamos en Tierra Viva de San Blas, un hotel encantador y muy bonito, con una muy buena ubicación en un barrio con tiendas, restaurantes y cafés para visitar. Los cuartos limpios, y cómodos, el desayuno muy rico y completo. Todo el personal preocupados por brindarnos la mejor experiencia, muy amables y dispuestos a ayudarnos en lo que fuera necesario. I love this hotel! Every time I visits Cusco this is my home away from home. The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms and common areas are great and cozy. Love the patio! San Blas is, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Cusco.

Can’t speak highly enough. Rooms were clean and well appointed and breakfast excellent. Hotel centrally located to historic plaza. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and proactively checked on our experience and needs. We check in and out and back in several times during our trip, and the staff anticipated that with no hiccups. If we return to Peru there’s no question that we will be staying at Tierra Viva.
