Andean Dreams Hotel

Room was very basic and bare, nothing like the photos at all! The room was ULTRA COLD with zero heating and we had to sleep in the 14 degrees Celsius room every night! And had to sleep clothed with jacket on too! Bathroom was tiny and wash basin only had ice cold water! We only found out after several days' stay that we can actuslly rent a small portable heater for 10 soles per day (abt US$3/day), which only helped warm the room very slightly to 17 degrees! Just 3 degrees warmer, even when we turned it on at max level. Very good location, about 10 minutes walk to Plaza de Armas (town square). Lady receptionist was very helpful. Other reception staff didn't speak any English at all! Restaurant tip: Enjoy superb food at Morena Restaurant at Plaza de Armas

The hotel is very out of date. Shower head is leaking, inconsistent hot water. Drain is slow. Breakfast was very basic and simple. The only good thing is the location, near main plaza and close to many tourist places.

Staffs were kind enough to tell me cheap restaurants or to prepare for my breakfast in early morning.

Good location in the city. Service was good. No lift yet personnel eager to assist. Overall good.

Economical so the rooms are small with small washroom, no heaters but the location is awesome. Just 2 minutes walk to Plaza de Armas, lots of massage centres, cafes,stores, pharmacies, the famous streets are just at the end of the road from hotel..

A nightmare stay, avoid at all costs! This was easily the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room had a terrible smell, and the carpet was covered in suspicious stains. The bathroom was just as bad: the electric shower barely worked, and washing your hair is impossible because there is absolutely no water pressure. To make matters worse, I could hear pigeons cooing and scratching all night long, making it impossible to sleep. On top of the poor facilities, the staff is extremely rude and completely unwilling to help with even the simplest requests. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The staff was very kind and even woke up at 4:30am to give me a breakfast bag for my trip to MachuPicchu! Very good service and I totally recommend :)
