Thank you very much for the front desk's help in identifying the ticket, especially since I can't read Spanish. The breakfast was quite rich except for the lack of meat. It was very convenient for the guests as Ting took half a day to retrieve the luggage. Thank them for their help.

Very quiet area not far away from the main square.
Room very clean and nice hot shower. Nice TV with netflix as well.
Only the room was a little bit cool but that seems to be the case in most hostels in Cusco.. The hosts made a WhatsApp group and that was handy for arranging an airport pick up on arrival but after that they were not quick at replying.

This place is a real gem, we felt at home! The kindness of the hosts and employees, the clean, pleasant and spacious rooms, the breathtaking view of the city and the friendly breakfast are well worth the effort of the steps to climb to get there. Thank you a thousand times for your welcome and your help, if our path takes us to Cusco again we will return to Illa B&B without hesitation. I recommend 100%!

I stayed here 4 nights before and after the Salkantay trek. The first 4 nights were in a studio room which is very nicely decorated with plants and flowers, the last 4 nights were in a double room with a view of the city. I enjoyed my stay in both. The checkout was very easy, I left the key and bags in my room when I left at 4.30am for the salkantay trek, and when I returned, I was immediately brought to my new room with my bags already inside, which felt really nice after a tiring 5 days. The breakfast was nice, had fresh papaya or orange juice. The location was great as well, just about 5 min walk down to the main square (about 10min up) and the first 2 streets from the main square have police officers around which made me feel safer. Also many cafe and restaurants in the streets around it. I was having diarrhoea and feeling unwell on my last day and was grateful that I could check out later to have a longer rest.

Due to a system problem, the room we booked was occupied. The owner was very generous and took the initiative to reduce the room rate by half. It was close to the middle of the mountain, the view was good, and it was within walking distance to the square. I took a train to Puno in the morning. The inn helped me book it in advance and I found that the driver here was very punctual. It is suitable for a short stay if you don't have altitude sickness. The apartment can be used for cooking and has all the necessary facilities.
