There are not many hotels that go above and beyond to make you feel like royalty. The restaurant was just as accommodating for my vegan diet. The gardens with the lovely falls colours were not only made a loving stroll but photogenic.

Very poor, very shabby, it looks like a ** at night. The picture shows me turning on the light by myself. It will be very scary when it goes out or is not turned on.

The Chateau was breathtaking. The staff was warm, friendly, professional, and very well trained. The property was stunning, immaculate, and very tranquil. The chef, and the restaurant make this a required food destination for those wanting a memorable culinary experience. My experience was all I had hoped for, and more.

I had an exceptional holiday. I spent 4 nights here, and enjoyed the restaurant every night. The staff is warm, friendly, professional, and well trained. The property is stunning. The chef and the restaurant make this a required food destination for those who want a memorable culinary experience. This has been one of the most delightful and enjoyable trips I have taken. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff, who made me feel at home from the start.

The Michelin star restaurant was extremely disappointing ! The service was dreadful and we were not made to feel welcome. We certainly won’t be going back.

We stopped at this hotel on the way home from the Alps. It was a tremendous find. Delightful well equipped and beautifully decorated bedroom. The hotel grounds are lovely and all the staff excellent. We had a superb dinner accompanied by lovely wine.

We we delighted to experience an exceptional dinner at the Chateau. Hardly believable that the restaurant hasn’t been awarded a Michelin star. Treat yourself and dine here for a great meal at reasonable cost

What a beautiful property! We splurged to stay here for just one night near the end of two weeks of travel in France, Belgium and the Netherlands and it was the perfect last hurrah to a great trip. We were worried this place might be on the stuffy/pretentious side, but the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautifully decorated with modern bathrooms. No A/C though which wasn’t a problem as it was still cool in early July and we were happy to sleep with the windows open. We had dinner onsite (5 course meal with wine pairings) which again, was a big splurge, but it was perhaps the best meal we’ve ever had so worth every penny. The grounds are lovely to walk around and bikes are available to use on the property or to check out the adjacent town. Beautiful heated pool on site as well. Delicious breakfast the next morning included in the rate as well. We would highly recommend staying here!

One of the nicest traditional properties we have stopped in. In context we have been coming to France for many years now and visited quite a few Chateau… this is a great surprise. If you like all things modern and large plates of mediocre food then stay away. If you enjoy a traditional experience in a marvellous building with splendid French service then this will be for you. Royal Suite was an exceptional room and just as expected from the website.

If you are looking for renaissance-style room & decoration and fine dining in Chateau, here may be the right answer for you. Only 20 rooms available with full amenities, bath tub, shower room, swimming pool. However, you can access by car or private chauffeur only and besides pool and dining, there is no spa, gym or activities arrangement.

The hotel location is good if you are looking for a stop over driving back from the Uk. The hotel grounds are beautiful, very dog friendly as your 4 legged companions can run around and go for a nice walk around the forest. However, the charge for 1 dog is 45 EUR which is certainly the highest charge I’ve paid. Now, that’s when things start to get a bit awkward. The property advertised that they have car electric charging facilities . It’s actually not true. They let you plug your car to their mains, that is if you have your own cable to do so. Booked a room and a 5 course dinner with wine pairing. A decision which was driven by the advertised “Gastronomic Experience at a Gastronomic Fine Dinning Restaurant”. A bit like the car charger situation, the restaurant fell short. Let’s say it is a restaurant but struggled to find the “gastronomy” in it. The food was genuinely below average, to the extent that out of 5 courses, I’ve not eaten 4 of them (not worth the calories). The wines were average quality and didn’t come in sequence. I believe their concept of pairing was to serve you something, with something and hope for the best. Had a cocktail to start with as an aperitif. The house cocktail , with grapefruit juice, crème de cassis topped up with champagne. The result was some grapefruit juice a bit of crème de cassis top up with flat bottom of the bottle champagne. The cocktail was not good ! However, the fact that the cocktail was at 20 EUR , it made it even harder to swallow the beverage. I think this hotel did the big mistake of rising customer’s expectations with false advertising, get them to come, with no other options around , live the experience, how mediocre it can be, then leave . I know it’s a bit harsh! I must say, they’ve apologised, and they were so kind to offer us 2 glasses of champagne at 7:30AM before we got behind the wheels to drive off ;) . I smiled and declined, reminding them that drinking and driving is not what I would call “a match made in heaven”. To conclude, save your money and time . For similar or few EUR extra you can have a much agréable experience at Chateau Beaulieu near Calais.

Wow.. a beautiful chateau on the edge of champagne region - Epernay 1 hr, Reims 45 mins. It is stunning with all the history you could want - Bonaparte allegedly stayed here. Set in beautiful grounds with excellent service. We stayed in a well appointed coach house and had a fabulous time. The restaurant was slightly formal with traditional excellent French fare. Do not miss the city of Laon… 30 mins away and a spectacular surprise. Beautiful, just beautiful

Very poor experience from beginning to end. The whole property is in very bad desrepair. Rooms have no curtains in the bathrooms and falling curtains in the bedroom. The Customer service is non existent. Another guest checking out at the same time as us asked for a bottle of water for the way and they charged him for a tiny bottle of water. Never seen that before. At dinner the smell of cow excrement was so bad in the terrace we couldn’t enjoy our food. They left my bottle of wine so far from our table I had to keep getting up to fill our glasses. Just terrible. Don’t ever book to stay at this hotel. You’ve been warned!
