I stayed at this Courtyard for 5 nights through January 23, 2020. The first wonderful person I met was while I was checking in. Devin is a professional, courteous and extremely helpful yong man that assisted me with everything I needed (where to eat, visit and shop). He is very patient and I appreciated his advise and kindness. I also met Jason, a great gentleman who took the time to show me my room to assure it would meet my needs! He is a really considerate and plesant! The same is true of Delania (I sure hope I spelled this correctly). Her personality and welcoming attitude is wonderful. She would ask how my meal was, what I did and was sincere in her querries. She is wonderful! I met Teresea the one night she was scheduled to work while I was there. What a special, vivacious, outgoing and exuberant nice lady! She had a cold and I was going to Walmart, so I got her some cough drops-you would think I gave her $1M! She was so appreciative and thanked me several times. I wish I could have spent more time with her-she makes you feel great! The housekeepers I met were so friendly and kind! Jeanie and Rea are awesome. Rea did an extra quick cleanup of my room one evening and refused a gratituity for her efforts. How special she is! Lyle (Maintenance) had to come to my aid on several occassions due to a persnickity light/outlet and was outgoing, very helpful and very competent. The bottom line is there are so many special people I almost fogot to mention what a nice property it is! The exterior is inviting and kept up nicely, the Lobbt is spacious and hospitable. The rooms are spacious, laid out well and extremely comfortable, clean and quiet. I especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Very relaxing and clean. I had one small issue with the water temperature in my shower and I was thrilled to see that Management immediately got involved. Sam, the Assistant Manager, is an awesome man with a great demeanor and ibviously respected by the Staff (they told me he knows how to get things done)! Sam introduced me to Brian, the Manager who has recently come to this property. All I can say (and see) is that Brian and Don are incredible Leaders that have an awesome group of people that like their jobs. The winners? Us, their appreciative guests! Thank you from Room 231 and every other room in your great hotel! Please forgive me if I omitted any of the other great people I met. I sure hope Marriott knows what great folks they have at this property!

Nice, very well maintained hotel, clean and comfortable room as well. Room also had microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Room fee included dinner snacks the night we arrived and breakfast the following morning, -both were very good. The front desk agent (Julie) was extremely helpful and proactive with questions regarding our stay. (Five stars Julie!) We have stayed at numerous Drury Inn locations and it has consistently been a good experience.

SShakeMA simple stay. The room was nice. They need more work on cleanliness. I had to request another comforter as my had dirt and hair on it. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was nice.
Service was hit or miss. The gentleman at check-in was rude and didn't listen when I told him I prepaid. He charged my card again instead of just places it in hold for incidentals. I had to have the manager correct it the next morning. It took some time but she was nice.

GGuest UserThis is a wonderful location for any destination you want go to in Lafayette, every thing is convient. The only reason for not having a perfect 10 in all catagories is due to Covid restrictions. It is time we move past this and try and get back to some degree of normal, ie: Daily house keeping, better breakfast, etc. We were told the property was in line for a little remodeling/updates. This will serve to freshen things up. Good stay, Thank You to the staff. John S.

GGuest UserStayed here for a Reba McEntire concert at the Cajundome which was literally across the street! Dry convenient. Friendly staff! Clean rooms and good breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. It too far from other eating areas etc. I would definitely stay again!

Cccb128This has been one of our favorite places to stay over the years, we sometimes stay 2-3 times a year. Sadly, I think we might look for a new place to stay when we visit Lafayette in the future. The staff was very kind, helpful and accommodating this visit. Check in was great, fast and easy. Our room was dated, but fairly clean. I didn’t report it, but one of the lamps was missing on one of our nightstands, so it seemed dark in the room. The bathroom could’ve been cleaner, grime in the doorway that may be permanent, I couldn’t tell. Hot water took forever to come out of the shower. A/C seemed to be broken most of our stay. The other BIG problem this hotel has is people who aren’t guests using the pool. This time, they had a system. Park in the nearby parking lot, get a housekeeper to let them in, then enter through one of the pool view rooms that a housekeeper was cleaning, to make it appear they are guests. I know they weren’t staying in that room because when we went to the pool, the inner door was opened and the housekeeper was cleaning, no guests were staying there. This kind of thing has happened the past 4-5 times we’ve stayed here. Mother’s Day, they parked in the parking lot and set up a complete party complete with obnoxious music, food, screaming kids running around on the pool deck and not one of the people was staying at the hotel…they never are. I don’t know what can be done because it’s so easy to enter the pool from the parking lot UNLESS they go back to having to use your key to enter the gate and instruct housekeeping that their friends and families done have free reign over this pool, it’s strictly for guests and ENFORCE IT IS ONLY FOR HOTEL GUESTS. We paid for our room, and expect peaceful use of the pool, these people aren’t guests and shouldn’t be allowed to use the pool when guests are just trying to relax out there.

GGuest UserRooms are clean, spacious and roomy. Beds are comfy. Listed as a queen but it was bigger. Breakfast was basic, no hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc.) but had bread for toast, cereal, juice, coffee, etc. When you arrive, be patient with the front desk person. 25 minutes to check in and IMO they were under the influence.

Thank you so much It’s always been a good stay whenever I get to the hotel much friendly staff and the hotel is under renovation and doing some good job on new room. I wish I had some pictures to share for new room but you can find new room picture in google.
