"Excellent location, right next to PATH station, which in ~20 min gets you to the Times square or WTC. Rooms are very spacious, area around is great. There are shopping centres, Target, etc near by. Riverside walk, which is less than 100 meters from the hotel, turned out to be our daily affair as it provided a beautiful night scene of the Downton NYC skyline."

"The property was an historic building with a remarkable ballroom and bar area still with incredible furnishings from its glory days. Things were a bit dingy and worn but for the most part it was acceptably clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The elevator would not operate if too many people were in it. Use the stares. The comp bikes apparently had been left out during pandemic closure and were no longer available. It was reminiscent of a stay in a Havana hotel. "

There are many guests staying and the check-out time is until 11 noon. The breakfast environment is warm and the chef is very friendly. The hotel is quite close to Newport Mall, which is relatively convenient."
