This is a great independent hotel right in the heart of Fort Lauderdale on Las Olas Blvd.. The hotel was undergoing renovations when we were there, but our room was newly renovated. However, I cannot figure out how housekeeping never sees leaking faucets, paint chips, dirty caulk when it comes to, checking out the overall appearance of the room before guests arrive. Restaurant quality was great, service was great, and security was clearly visible. The pool area is wonderful as well.

I had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel front office manager even upgraded my room because I felt like the other one had been smoked in. The staff in general is very friendly and professional. The valets were awesome and quick, quick quick. On top of the incredible service the oceanfront location and pool cannot be beaten. B Ocean was beautiful

Still the kind of hotel I like, but I booked the pier view room of the main building before, but I didn't know that the person who arrived at the front desk said that it was changed to the room in the deputy building. I didn't know what was wrong in the middle, because the room in the main building was confirmed by the reservation again and again and the customer service. But when I checked in, I was ruled by the hotel brother and went to the deputy building. . . The overall environment of the hotel is still OK, 40 minutes walk from the beach, 10 minutes by taxi to the beach, and it is very convenient to leave the cruise terminal. The hotel will provide a car to the pier for 6 dollars. If you do a cruise, booking a hotel must be a good choice. The surrounding dining and supermarket are also more convenient. Overall is OK

I must say I almost didn't book through Trip.com after reading some of the negative comments but that was NOT my experience at all! I saved money significantly by booking through them for the Oceanfront Suite and was able to confirm with the Hilton property right away that I was confirmed for what I booked. I would definitely book using Trip.com again in the future. The hotel itself was in an amazing location, great room view and value for the price. A few updates would make it exceptional but overall was still great.

Although I found the furniture in my room to be old and worn, which was unusual for a Westin property, the room was very clean. The highlight of the stay was the exceptional customer service provided by the director of front office Michele Dela Cruz and the front desk representative Tatiana, (hope I spelled that correctly), they greeted me with a smiling face and a professional demeanor. They were very helpful and quickly addressed concerns or requests that I had during my stay. Let me not forget to mention that it’s obvious that the excellent service is clearly a standard because Suzanne and Freely were equally attentive in the lounge as well as Ambrose and Antonio in the restaurant. The employees have no control on how the hotel is furnished but they all made the stay enjoyable! Because of those folks I’ll be sure to visit again. Well done in the hiring arena Westin!!

Outdated facilities, especially the cold and hot water pressure is very small, the amount of water is large, uncomfortable! Breakfast is good. The location is excellent. The room is quiet.

My review is a little late but My husband and I with our 2 kids, stayed at the W and we had a great experience. We were there the last week of July. We stayed for 8 days. The hotel is beautiful, very upscale. Lots of amenities. From when we checked in, everyone was super nice. We had a great view of the beach from our Balcony. We stayed on the 21st floor and our floor was very quiet. Our room was very clean, always smelled good as soon as you would walk out of the elevator into the hallways. Hotel was very clean. Our room was always serviced. The room was super nice. Great access to the beach. Valet service was great, everyone was super nice. We did not eat at the hotel though because it was pretty pricey. Overall we had a great experience and definitely would return back to the W in the future.

Kevin was incredibly nice and went above and beyond by providing us with a fantastic cabana that made our day truly special. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor really enhanced our experience. We felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our time there. Highly recommend reaching out to him for a great experience!

Great location situated on a big, quite private beach with ample free parking for residents and some free beds on the beach area. Kids club and facilities to keep them amused. Property slightly dated and old fashioned but thats what gives it an ambiance of old florida. Spacious units kept in good condition, friendly, efficient helpful staff. Only criticism is update the tvs they are old, small and past their sell by date.

This hotel is not ideal but not expensive- not bad if on a budget. You will have to walk up to light, across the street and through buildings to get to the beach. It’s walking distance to Ft L by the Sea which has a lot of restaurants bars and nightlife and just south is a great Tiki Bar on the beach at a popular hotel. It is also a mile or so from The popular Shooters restaurant in Ft L. The bar downstairs stays open late and plays loud music till midnight - can be fun if you’re a night owl. The room was clean but the bed was oh so lumpy but there was a lot of pillows! Breakfast is basic but decent. Beach towels avail but hard to get. Beach chairs were few and old. The people staying there were the most friendly so that was nice. It’s a very safe area but I did see one homeless person who seemed harmless. The beach was very nice and was just happy to be away from the cold.
