The advantage is that the room is relatively large, with a small living room, a sofa and a writing desk. The sofa can also be used as a sofa bed and has a microwave. Breakfast is a buffet. The place is small and very simple and American-style. Don't expect too much, but it is quite satisfactory for ordinary hotels in the United States and the price is affordable.
The disadvantage is that the air conditioner is slightly louder and the overall environment is slightly outdated.
Hotels in the United States generally do not have disposable slippers, toothbrushes, or kettles.

Hotel facilities are old, but quite clean, and pets can be accommodated. There is a very lively area near the hotel even at night. Several restaurants are open late. It is more convenient to go out to eat if you don't want to eat at the hotel.
Extended stay America provides cost-effective service in line with the chain.
1. Cleanliness
It is relatively clean because it was recently renovated. However, you should take into account that the building is a bit old, and the products are not high-end, so you should tolerate that. The TV, refrigerator, and bed are clean, and the staff seem to manage them well.
2. Location
It is a bit far from the Tyson metro station. It is a 20-minute walk or 2 bus stops. There are mostly residential areas nearby and an elementary school, so it is quiet and not crowded. However, you need a car to go to the grocery store. It costs about $15-20 round trip by Uber.
3. Service
You shouldn't expect great service because it is cheap. It is faithful to the basics, such as a clean room and a kitchen where you can cook. The breakfast service is really simple, with simple muffins and coffee. All the staff are friendly, and there is a laundry room, so you can use 6 washing machines and 8 dryers. The usage fee is $3 each. There is ample parking space. Isn't this enough?
4. Facilities
It's clean because it was recently renovated. However, it's definitely not at the level of a five-star hotel. There's an electric range, refrigerator, microwave, and TV in the room. The heater looks a little old. It looks older than what you'd see in a new hotel. The washing machine and dryer both look new. Above all, the TV is big and nice. The electric range is a little old, but the dishes are provided upon request at the front desk. However, it was a shame that there were a lot of scratches on the bottom of the pan.
5. Overall Review
There aren't many places that offer this level of service at this price. In particular, it's a merit that a kitchen is provided.
However, since it's a hotel with good cost-effectiveness, you should consider that it provides basic services, not five-star services.
Today is my wife's birthday, so I went to a restaurant thinking about breakfast.
However, the restaurant is closed, and there is a bistro next to it,
but instead of serving the food on a plate like McDonald's,
they made it by rolling it on paper.
Also, the prices(11$) were high and the staff were unfriendly.
I don't want to use the restaurant again.
The room was small, but the front desk was very good, let us stay at 2 o'clock and wait until 4 o'clock. I booked a room with breakfast, and the waiter poured water on the breakfast, so I had to tip it... the taste and variety were good, but it was not worth it to spend 21 knives directly.
Enjoy the Tyson’s Corner area witch’s stay at the Double Tree. The silver line makes the trip from the airport easy, so you don’t have to worry about an expensive Uber. The staff is great; but be sure to ask for your room to be cleaned and any water bottles you may need. Aside from that, it’s a good place to stay whether your visiting DC or northern Virginia. I would also suggest going across the street to the mall. It’s been upgraded with a very large selection of great food.
Very good hotel, by Hilton. They are all suites with very good prices. There is breakfast, which is much better than the so-called continental breakfast. The variety is not particularly large, but it is very good, and there are fruits. There is water cola drink coffee in the room. The front desk said that it was originally charged 10 knives. It looks good to you, and it's off to you. Hahaha, I guess this guy said that to everyone. There is a parking lot, which costs 10 knives, and there is no deduction in the end. It is basically open. No one will charge you. The car can also be parked at the next mall. It's very convenient to go to Washington Square. The silver subway is about half an hour or so. It seems to be 5.8 to the parliament during the peak period and 3.8 to the low peak.
There is bestbuy next to it, and other shopping malls such as Wal-Mart are also nearby.
The price and the conditions are really worth it.
Great trip in Tysons corner.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe WaterMark was amazing! The room junior suite we reserved for 2 nights was clean, organized, spacious, had an abundance of towels and bathroom amenities were elegant! We had a full living room detached from master bedroom, and a full kitchen also!!! Priced just right for a 2 night stay. This property is 5 stars for sure! Restaurant, mini golf, star hill brewery, food trucks, big play field for kids and family fun All rolled into one great hotel! The staff from front desk, housekeeping, and kitchen were polite and professional and went above and beyond! The property is very sophisticated and full of technology and the security measures are top notch. You have to experience it if your traveling to Tysons area in Va. The capital one hall is amazing and conveniently located and accessible from the hotel. More than enough parking! We will be returning in October for another weekend!!!
CCometoseeGood service as an airport hotel. Picking up from the airport, very attentive and punctuate.
The hotel is 10 min drive from the airport. Pretty sufficient for 1 night layover. Room is huge with 2 queen beds, big sofa, big TV. Functional bathroom with a small tub.
Service is good. Staff are friendly. As the hotel location, they offer to drive you where you want and pick you up. All arranged with the reception.
Breakfast is basic and self serving. All plates are plastics for one time use.
Recommended for those who want to stay 1 night.
GGuest UserWifi connectivity was very bad in my room, even though my room was on the first floor and close to the front desk. Upon checkout it was alarming to hear one of the employees, it looked like a manager by how she was dressed, arguing with an old lady in a wheel chair. The manager was saying how she was uncomfortable offering her transport. It was disconcerting that an elderly person was being treated poorly. I also overheard another guest complaining to the front desk representative about a problem, and he thought the hotel staff needed more training. Given these issues this hotel will not be my selection preference in the future.

JJamieIt's pretty close to the interstate and very conveniently located near many stores, restaurants, and other places. It's very clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly. The selection for breakfast is not very much but enough for staying just a few days. I am surprised to find that there is a gym, a pool and a hot tub. There is a microwave in the room; either it's broken or I don't know how to operate it. The only real problem I have is that the phone in my room does not work. They tried to fix it from day one but for some reason it's not ever fixed by the time I checked out after 6 days of staying there.
JJIVery satisfied, the room is large, there are Chinese supermarkets around, you can eat and drink, it is worth recommending to everyone, the transportation is also very convenient, it is a very ideal hotel, praise!
MMima215Great location! There are so many restaurants right around the block on King Street. This is a very nice hotel. An oldie but goodie. Very large atrium where you can sit and enjoy the included breakfast every morning. VIP happy hour was perfect. We would definitely stay there again. Clean and friendly.
CCLINTONMy wife and I were so pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Comfort Suites Dulles Airport hotel. The room was clean and spacious and very quiet, the facilities were very complete, the bed was very comfortable, the free breakfast had quite an abundant variety of choices and all the food was clean and hygenic and well-presented, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The complementary airport shuttle service was punctual with helpful drivers. We definitely plan to stay there again when we need to spend a night in that part of the DC area.
GGuest UserI use to stay here when it was Hawthorne suites and it seems the new owners have only half stepped with the hotel. The breakfast is basic, eggs and sausage Pattie’s with the bagels and English muffins being cut into smaller portions. No cereal or fruit. The pool is closed and the laundry room is closed ( although there was a sign saying it would be open on the 5th, it was not ) the gym is extremely small with no ventilation and huge piles of towels blocking a good majority of the floor. The rooms have had the carpet removed which is great however the walls need to be deep cleaned. Towels are extremely small. Water pressure in both the bathroom and kitchen is terrible. They no longer provide wash cloths for the kitchen or dish soap. It’s not terrible but there is for sure room for improvement
