My family made a reservation at this hotel for a 4 day stay over the Christmas holiday. I had reserved a 2 bedroom suite with a water view, but when we checked in we were given an ADA room that was heavily modified for wheelchair access. I asked the front desk manager to switch our room to a normal non-ADA room, but was told there wasn't one available until tomorrow. So, our stay started out with an issue, but the manager fixed it the next day as promised, but we now have a view of the parking lot and not a water view. Some other issues came up during our stay, such as unreliable hot water, difficult shower activation, WiFi internet connection problems, dirty dishes, missing bathroom shelf. Pros: - Free complimentary hot breakfast (except Christmas Day) - Nice laundry facilities - Safe, walkable surroundings - Reasonable room rate Cons: - $15/day for parking - Paid for water view room but got a parking lot view - The hot water for showering was very inconsistent. Mostly just lukewarm water - The shower in the 2nd bathroom didn't work - Maintenance crew seems to work inconsistent hours - Given an ADA room because it was the only one available - Our room was never cleaned during our stay What I've learned from this experience is to use the Marriott app to check in as early as possible and ask for a non-ADA room. If the app is glitchy and doesn't seem to work, call the hotel directly and ask for a non-ADA room. When I checked out, the general manager did ask about my stay and I filled him in on my experience. He did seem to sincerely care about what I told him, and offered us some compensation which was a nice gesture. As such, we will try this hotel again in the future to hopefully have a better experience.
Clean, simple, near everything. We stayed at this hotel for another baseball tournament. We are from California, did not know our way around, but this was a GREAT location. Directly across from a mall. The mall has many food options and lots of shopping. The hotel itself was very green and offered many options such as EV chargers, water bottle filling stations and a good breakfast in the morning. There are no bars or restaurants on site in the hotel, but while we were there they had a happy hour with free wine and beer a few nights during the week. The pool is very basic and small, but we enjoyed ourselves.
The hotel is nicely decorated with really comfortable beds. There’s a nice bar and small restaurant on the ground floor as well as the M club for medallion members. The M club wasn’t well stocked when we visited so we stopped by the restaurant. When I told our server, Kane, I was a bit under the weather, she offered the best herbal tea. Kane was so friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. She even made sure the next shift had the recipe so I could enjoy it in the morning. Great stay.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean, well-maintained and affordable. What really made this stay a standout was the incredible, kind, go above and beyond service by the employees. Lisa at the night front desk was amazing, helping us get hot chocolate at night, giving us the best room available in our price range, and always had a kind and welcoming smile. That pretty well describes the breakfast staff, the maintenance staff and everyone who worked the front desk.
My husband and I have just completed a stay at this hotel. The room itself was nice, clean and comfy. However, Alexandria at the front desk was not nice at all. She had a bad attitude in general. My husband, myself and our dog had just completed a lengthy amazing stay at a Sonesta ES Suites, but unfortunately there were no availabilities for the upcoming dates. So we decided to go to this hotel since it was reasonably priced. We are having work done on our house that is taking longer than expected so we had a lot of bags and belongings with us. My husband called ahead and asked for a ground floor room for our pet, and mentioned this. When we arrived however, they didn’t charge us the deposit for the pet which we honestly did not realize at the time. When my husband went to the front desk later on to get a snack, Alexandria very rudely told him that “a maintenance man saw a dog go into your room” in an accusatory manner. My husband attempted to pay the deposit at that time but had problems with his credit card. We paid the next day, even though our dog ended up leaving to stay with friends. As if that wasn’t bad enough, this morning I went down to the front desk around 11:15, to ask about a luggage cart and a possible later checkout (even by 12:30, nothing big) she rudely said No, we are fully booked, etc, etc. I then asked her for a luggage cart because we had a lot of bags (as mentioned above) and she said, We’ll if there’s none at the front then we don’t have any available. Not, let me ask housekeeping or any type of help. Luckily a housekeeper passed by and was concerned and wanted to help and got a luggage cart for me. When I checked out, before I returned room keys, I asked if she could allow the room key to work at the side door where we were packing up our car and she said, No they stopped working at 12 o’clock. I am a very well seasoned traveler, who has lived in many different states and 2 foreign countries and this person was one of the most rude and unhelpful people I have encountered at a front desk. If this is the impression you want to put out about your brand culture, then that’s not good business sense. The reception desk is the face of your hotel and should be run by a pleasant , helpful person, not someone who couldn’t care less about the vibes they put out. Disappointed is not the word and rest assured we will never be back. 2 Stars for clean, comfy room and nice housekeeper.
This was the worst stay I’ve had in Phoenix metro area. I have stayed at 63 different hotels in the Phoenix metro area in the last year, and though there’s other bad hotels out here, this one feels deliberate in its intention. There are some obvious staffing issues at this facility, with the exception of front desk Bob who was very professional and comes across as very experienced. My issue was a simple one really, one that most hotels would never stoop to. (Disclaimer, I am a Marriott employee, and as a manager myself am afforded discounted room stays) we had a small house fire 2 years ago that put us in hotels ( I was with Hilton group then but same deal there) for a month or so. As I result I started my blog which I can not advertise here but I reach thousands of Marriott guests 3 times a week writing reviews of area hotels. I will stay at 3 different hotels a week because I have 2 jobs and 1 overnight 4 days a week. I don’t bother renting an apartment or house for the moment this is much cheaper and no upkeep. I know everything about the hotel business. I’ve been a general manager of the knickerbocker in Chicago in the 90’s and have held every single position possible over the last nearly 40 years in this business. So when I say I know what is supposed to happen at the front of the house and the back of the house you can count on my professional accuracy. So I was really disappointed with this hotel’s extremely unprofessional approach to what I viewed as a “customer comes last” policy. Like I said, the issue would have been a nonissue at every other major Marriott in the area ( granted this is a tiny hotel, they still should follow our standards) but I checked in early and front desk Brandon insisted I pay double for the discounted room. No other hotel would have even brought up the early check-in and I check in to my hotel every time at the same time of day. Brandon said he wouldn’t budge. I was even kind enough to explain “you can ask a guest to double pay but we usually only reserve that policy for situations where granting the guest the courtesy of early check-in will cost the hotel. But since this is a vacant ready room and the hotel will not be able to sell the room prior to check in we always accommodate the guests needs, because it costs nothing of the hotel”. Brandon looked at my like I had two heads. He clearly didn’t understand this simple principle followed by all the rest of us. But I paid it because I would be charged anyway for late cancellation. I figured the next day (‘Monday) I’ll explain to the manager and get my money back. HA. Lol. I was sadly mistaken there. Thomas Munoz the manger of the hotel, doubled down Brandon’s view of telling me how many hours before regular check in it was and that because of that “he had to charge me”. I said ok but...then I repeated the economics lesson I was kind enough to share with his front desk associate. I got the same blank stare. Funny thing is I know that these 2 guy

The staff was very nice all the way down to the housekeeping... The apartment was clean and very nicely decorated... The only thing that I think they could improve on is trash cans, a plunger, a coffee maker, cups and a couple of small pots 1 pan with lid and dishes in the rooms they can even be disposable dishes and eating utensils... Other then that the stay was excellent... Would most definitely stay again and tell anyone I know that is looking for a nice place to stay to stay here... Daughter was upset we had to go...lol
This Homewood is an older style property with the split buildings. I was only here for a night just on a layover and visiting a friend at Sky-Harbor. It was a really good rate. Was it perfect? No. But it was reasonably priced and I got a one bedroom suite (I was expecting a studio). I am unsure how the breakfast was as I missed it as I was asleep haha, but overall it was good. Nice pool and hot tub it looked like fun! Elise and Josh were super nice and efficient as well! There’s a parking fee to park here FYI! It is $15 I believe!

Outstanding
Room was on the 10th floor. Had nice views of the pool and great sunsets. Room was clean and quiet. Mattress was just right and we slept well. I will stay here again in the near future. Aroma has delicious breakfast items that you can take on-the-go.
NNinjaArcadiaLaXMy experience at this location was phenomenal! My husband and I were coming off a 3 day hiking expedition in the Grand Canyon and planned to drive further south to Saguaro NP and wanted a nice place to rest inbetween, but it also happened to be our 10yr wedding anniversary (Jan 14th). I called a few hours in advance and spoke to Elijah at the front desk to see if there was a romance package I could book last minute. He wasn't sure, BUT when we arrived he had spoken to his manager and was able to secure us an upgraded room and a small bottle of wine for our anniversary. We were thrilled and Elijah was so sweet to get something worked out last minute on our behalf. Besides our excellent experience, the hotel itself was clean and well-located with several nearby restaurants. I can't recommend this hotel enough! Thank you!
GGuest UserAbsolutely not what we were expecting for a Hilton.
Rooms werent cleaned properly, used water bottles found in the fridge and behind the foot stool. Razor sharp bow n arrow top found in the closet and the Thermostat was faulty and kept saying low batteries even when brand new batteries were put in TWICE.
The main door didnt even close and the maintenance team had to come take the door off and replace it.
Lauren was amazing at helping us during our entire trip.
GGuest UserHilton saved the day! After driving for 4 days straight on a cross country move from Illinois, we found out the hotel we reserved weeks ago was overbooked. With a moving truck, two trailers and a dog to accommodate, we were mortified. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, we found the Home 2 Suite Hilton in Chandler, booked a room for 3 days until our closing date. When we arrived, we couldn't have been happier. Clean, refreshing, great amenities, accepts pets and had more than enough parking for our moving truck and trailers. It also has some nice restrauants right across the street. We had a spacious queen suite room, which had more than enough room for us to relax, plus a kitchenette with dishes and a full size fridge. A huge plus was the amazing shower pressure, gym and laundry facility. This place had everything we needed and more to wind down from several days of traveling. I highly recommend this location! They saved the day, so that we could rest easy while we waited to move into our new house.
The hotel looks fairly new. Everything from the lobby to the pool was clean and in good condition. The staff was very nice. The free breakfast was the typical serve yourself hotel buffet, with a waffle maker, eggs, and Canadian bacon. We swam in the afternoon when the pool was shaded. The water was warm. In the room we had a comfortable bed, a small closet, and a good sized bathroom with ample counter space and a step-in shower. There was a hair dryer, large shampoo, conditioner and lotion bottles attached to the wall, and convenient shelves behind the door. The room had a coffee maker and refrigerator. This hotel is the best we've stayed at for the price, though it was the middle of July when rates are lower. We will stay here again.
RRhondaA646I stayed just one night but was very pleased with my stay. I was upgraded to a suite which was quite large and comfortable. The room was very clean. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. I would say the only downside is if you’re a light sleeper, you can hear the highway traffic. Covid protections were still in place which I appreciated as many areas are lifting restrictions. I have family in this area and I would choose to stay here again.
GGuest UserI loved this hotel it’s in a great location in Arizona I felt safe with my kids the rooms and hotel are very nice and clean I have no complaints to be honest I booked here twice and if I’m ever in Phoenix again I’ll probably rebook this hotel I think the only thing it’s missing is a microwave
EelieThey’re thorough and patient. I’m currently dealing with a lot & I feel immensely overwhelmed and scattered brained, unfortunately along with an urgent matter along with family in the hospital. Nevertheless, they have been very considerate and welcoming. It makes a difference. It really does.
This hotel fit our needs. Rooms were clean. The hotel appeared to be a new facility. The price during peak vacation time was excellent. The amenities were bare bone, you could pay for pans, dishes, and silverware to utilize the kitchenette. The bed was not what we expected—a mattress on a spring frame, but surprisingly comfortable. Staff was accommodating and pleasant. The facility was safe and secure, shopping and restaurants were very close. We definitely would stay here again in the future.
AAnonymous UserI paid for breakfast, but I ended up making coffee for breakfast. The room that didn't have breakfast was also used as a utility room, and my name was taped on.
It feels bad. The sanitary conditions are also relatively poor. Some rooms are under renovation.
