Otelde 2 günlük bir Safranbolu gezisi için konakladık. Başlangıçta otelin konumunun tam olarak merkezde olduğunu düşündük, ancak otel aslında Karabük'te bir apartman dairesinde hizmet veren bir yerdi. Çevrede birçok Gabonlu öğrenci vardı ve hatta biz otelden ayrıldığımızda Gabon'daki öğrencilerle ilgili bir etkinlik yapılıyordu. Bu durum oldukça ilginç geldi. Otele gittiğimizde çift kişilik bir oda istemiştik, ancak görevli arkadaş odanın henüz hazır olmadığını ve teras katında bulunan bir daire olduğunu söyledi. Aynı standartlarda olduğunu ve yatak konusunda uygun olduğunu belirtti. Ancak odaya girdiğimizde küçük bir oda olduğunu ve yatağın da küçük olduğunu fark ettik. Neyse ki, beşik talebimize hızlı bir şekilde yanıt verdiler ve beşik bize temiz bir şekilde sunuldu. Kızım da beşiği çok sevdi. Otelin rezervasyon sitelerindeki fotoğraflarında görünenlerle biraz aldatıldığımızı düşündük. Kahvaltı normaldi, sıcak patates kızartması gibi bazı öğeler vardı, ancak çeşitlilik açısından beklentileri karşılamıyordu. Safranbolu'ya özgü herhangi bir şey yoktu, sadece klasik kahvaltı ürünleri sunuluyordu. Genellikle büyük otellerde şefler özel hazırlıklar yaparlar. Bu otelde böyle bir hizmet mevcut değildi. We were welcomed in the hotel with my wife and daughter on vacation for three days, they had no rooms to enjoy a very comfortable, delicious breakfast. We felt like we were going to visit family relatives not the hotel for the first time. We left the hotel with a wish to meet everyone again.

We stayed with my mother one day, there was no care and concern to us until we left our hotel. Murat Mr and his wife Selma Lady really are very good people. The rooms are very clean, breakfast is wonderful and so nutrient, even the evening tea enjoyment is very beautiful on the terrace. The view is perfect, especially from the terrace you can see all of Safranbolu. It is a lodging I can prefer without hesitation if I go to Safranbolu again ...

This truly is a family owned and operated business, starting with a personal welcome at check in. You leave your shoes downstairs, then walk up the stairs to your room. I got room #202, a large room with double bed and spare single, lots of space and great panoramic views over Safranbolu through the small window. Bathroom is small and basic, but adequate. If I had 1 negative it would be the very bad light in the room : 1 cold white ball hanging central from the ceiling, killing the charm of the authentic setting and making reading impossible. Breakfast starts late at 8am, but is deliciously freshly prepared by the lady of the house : sunny side up with tasty spices, cheese, some sort of rolled pancake, home-made jam and crispy bread. Location is not bad : easy walking down to center, but it's all the way back up returning and you may need a map to find it.

The panorama of Safranbolu from our room and the rooftop was as good as we saw in Hıdırlık Tepesi. Could enjoy fruitful and delicious breakfast with the aerial view again. The host was very helpful and passionate to introduce us some restaurants and attractions in this peaceful town.
