The environment matches the photos, brand new!
My kids mainly go to Legoland. It takes about 20 minutes to drive there, which is quite convenient if you have a driver.
The infinity swimming pool in the 31/F clubhouse is clean and looking at Singapore swimming is very relaxing!

We chose apartments with a pool or beach. I had to urgently look for and book these apartments, as the previous ones were canceled 3 days before arrival. The location is as secluded as possible, as it is located on an artificial island directly opposite Singapore. We met very few people even though we were there on the weekend. The apartments have everything you need: kitchen, dishes, good mattresses, bed linen and towels. Check-in is contactless (they left the keys in the mailbox, sending us the code for the locker), they sent detailed instructions with WiFi passwords, door code, etc. The only problem was with the door to the bathroom - apparently it had dried out and did not close well, but I think this is a solvable issue.

We stayed at this hotel for a quick transit before going out to Legoland. The family room is looks new, modern furnished, and spacious enough for our family of 5 (2 adult, 3 children). It is quite far from the JB city center, but really close to Legoland (5-10 min taxi ride) and also the SG-JB 2nd Link. There are some supermarket arround the hotel and for breakfast, a delicious Nasi Lemak is just arround the corner. Very recommended hotel.

ZZZiranThe stay was relaxing and pleasant. Golf field view was a plus point. Service was good but not too great as various requests for ice tool more than 30 min. Only bath towels are provided. Good is not great but ok. Overall a pleasant experience. I will come again

AamardanialsForest City Marina Hotel is a resort hotel by the sea with a view of Singapore. The receiptionist are very polite and helpful. We checked in at the hotel on 17 October 2020 and the whole check in process was fast and took us less than 10 minutes from queuing to getting the room keys. The room is very spacious and big. It is equipped with wifi connectivity, big screen tv, a variety of tv channels, a chiller, bathrobes and complimentary mineral water. The bathroom/toilet comes with a bathtub and separate shower and the size is big and spacious. The room also have a balcony facing the seaview and Singapore. The downside of the hotel: 1. It’s located very far from JB city and after 8pm, the Forest City seems to be a dead city. 2. Some of the facilities are not open to the public(eg. Only one swimming pool is open out of the many swimming pools, facilities around the resort are limited to the Marina Hotel and many shops are closed) 3. Some of the equipment/in room facilities require repair eg. Shower head 4. Aircond is not switched on in many areas(maybe due to low occupancy) The positive part of the hotel: 1. Very friendly and polite staff in the hotel from receiption, restaurant, security guards to the housekeeping team. Good job everyone. 2. The room is neat and tidy. Sufficient towels and amenities are provided. 3. Operator/receiption answer the phone call within three rings 4. They have promotion set meal at rm20 each which is affordable.

YYH ChiaThis is our 2nd time staying this hotel. Hotel is worth the price we paid. The location is good for those who drive and wanted to stay near to Tuas Checkpoint. Parking is free within the basement of the hotel. Breakfast spread is alright, we loved the croissant, baked fresh every time. Every level there is a water dispenser, so save us the hassle of buying mineral water. Overall a good stay.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel via Hotel.com. The pictures online look spacious and the matching the S$56 for a deluxe room with twin beds and a window view to city/street. The only strange thing is that its pricing is the same of a 4-star hotel nearby which included breakfast. And I think that should have been a good warning sign but I ignored. The check in confirms that this venue is not manned by professional hotelier as the counter staff gave me a double bed room that is cramped and I recall I saw that pricing is less online and it was just a standard room. It took about 10-minutes to change the room back to Deluxe. The design of the room was quite bad, distance between the beds and the wall (with mounted TV) is so narrow that one has to be be mindful passing. The so-called window with a view is actually facing a opposite block of building. and for privacy reason, curtain has to be drawn at all time. The toilet cum bath room is of course expected to be cramped and the drainage of the water below the shower is quite unsatisfactory as my feet were submerged in stagnant water waiting to be slowly drained. For that price I paid, I could have gotten a far better deal nearby.

ZzacharysooThe hotel is located in EcoBotani. It is convenient for those who would like to stay near the EduCity or Legoland. The receptionist was very kind to arrange a room that has no smoke (because smoking is allowed in this hotel). With the exception for the room we had, one can smell smoke at the corridor, the lift etc, basically in all the common area. Well, it is fine just to spend a night there in the room. We'll probably stay there again for its convenience.

JjohannaahhBig room. Clean place. Safety and fridge at room. Variety breakfast. Good wifi. There is also sauna but not showers there. Also pool. Maybe sauna area would be better if there were showers and some chairs etc. It wasnt really cosy place so we skipped the sauna. There is few food places around but not much. Also some busses leaving other side of the road. At least to Singapore. Legoland is about 13km away. You can get grab there. Reception will take deposit 100myr.

First impression: old and not well maintained. 2. Main corridor to the room looks old, gloomy and in sad condition. 3. The room has old musty smell. 4. The aircond sounds like the engine of a bus. 5. The aircond has no remote control (in this modern era?), and you'll need to adjust the room temperature on the wall panel. 6. Doubt that the room is sanitized. Took a cloth and wiped the table tops, leaving the cloth brown. 7. There are boogers on the wall and mirror! How DISGUSTING!! 8. The bed smells.. 9. The wifi SUCKS! I cannot even retrieve emails. I'm not able to conduct work meetings and calls.

GGuest UserThe hotel is well maintain and close to all amenities. There is slipper for toilet, kettle in the bathroom, clean towel and comfortable bed and pillows.
There are also space provided to hanging the clothes and bathroom rail for towel.
I took a triple room, not too small, just nice.
But the water heater a bit leaking.
Other than that, all satisfactory for a budget hotel.

So thats the only reason im reviewing because the supervisor was patient and nice to me. Is a nice hotel. Safe. No lifts just stairs. The sheets are kinda dirty but everything else is okay. Thank you to the supervisor.
