My brother and me had a terrific stay in the beautiful setting. The drive up the mountain on a tiny road is well worth it. The food was amazing, so varied and included local specialties: Trout, fried moth larvae, black moss that grows on rocks ( local delicatessen), wild hog soup, deer sashimi, etc. We experienced the finest Japanese food and hospitality. The room is small. But the bath with the room is large! The bath occupies half of the whole room. No way, there was no door or curtain between the dressing room and the zashiki, and we came in three generations of families were troubled. We managed to find something that would be blindfolded and installed. The hot spring is a 24-hour hanging, wet but pleasant. By the way, the large bath in the annex is now closed. The meal seems to have both pros and cons in the word of mouth, but it was very delicious. Sashimi, tea bowl steaming, ISE shrimp gratin, butter sote of cherry blossoms, fried fried cherry blossoms, beef stew, sucking things, etc. There were many items and all were delicious. Above all, the aunts of the inn were bright and fun. Overall, it is old and old. However, I was surprised that the amenities for men (such as cosmetics) were well prepared. There are various things, but I am satisfied with delicious meals and pleasant hot springs!

The location is remote but driving can solve the problem. The room is small but well-equipped, the heating system is acceptable in winter, and the bathroom is warm. If you choose this hotel for a self-driving tour, it is worth a try.

Located in the central part of Yatsushiro City, the point is high that parking is free. Rooms, facilities, etc. are very average. It was a night stay, but there was a supermarket nearby and there was no particular trouble.

I can't sleep in a futon that smells like others. I smelled at the level that I didn't change the sheets. Of course, I hardly hanged a futon, so the next day's health is the worst. It seems to be grand phobia. Yatsushiro often comes on business trips, but I will never use it again.
