We happened to be here on a japan national holiday so the hotel was very crowded. Including the onsen. Overcrowded. But the staff was polite and patient. The onsen also provides many toiletries including face scrub and foot scrubber. Able to see nice sunset if u book a room with sea view

During my recent stay at this hotel, I had a mixed experience that travelers should be aware of. Firstly, the breakfast was outstanding. The variety was great, making for a delightful start to each day. However, my stay was marred by an issue with the advertised 24-hour help desk. At check-in, I was assured that assistance would be available at any time. Unfortunately, when I needed help late at night, no staff could be reached. This lack of support was frustrating and left me without the assistance I required. Overall, while the breakfast here is a definite highlight, the reliability of their 24-hour help desk needs improvement. Future guests should be aware of this potential shortfall when planning their stay.

You need to check in by yourself, which may be a bit troublesome, and the check-in and check-out process is a bit cumbersome. But fortunately, the accommodation environment is good. Everyone abides by the rules of the hotel and it is very quiet.

Because it is an old house, the air conditioner outside the other rooms is not soundproof, and the sound of the day and night affects sleep, but because the price is cheap, it is like this. Thank you boss for picking me up at the pier. It is really inconvenient to say that the weather at the 37/8 degree on the same day is super hot. The pier is 2 kilometers away from the accommodation. This little guesthouse is simple but so well priced and met all our needs - mostly its close proximity (15 minutes walk) to both Honnura port area and the start of the Benesse house art zone, the main locations for the absolutely amazing art installations on Naoshima. Room was well sized, clean, secure and warm. The host was very friendly - he even gave us a lift into the Benesse area to give us a great head start on our day, and securely stored our luggage for the day. I would definitely stay here again. For those coming to Naoshima I would recommend staying 2 nights so you are not rushing your time on this beautiful serene island and make sure you book various galleries well in advance, they sell out even in off season!!
