"The building quality is very neat and clean. The dinner course and breakfast buffet are amazing. The staff are very polite and helpful. There are a lot of family activities you can do here. The hotel located a little bit far from the village, but that's make the hotel environment very quiet and dedicated. If you insist to go to the village, you can ask the staff for a shuttle bus service. There is no private bathroom in my booked room. Maybe the hotel offered you only hot spring bathing (Onsen). The wifi is not that good when there are many guest in the hotel. If you ok with hot spring bathing, do not have any business in the village and do not require internet connection while living, this is very good hotel to stay and enjoy the Shirakawa-go vibe."
"I recently had the opportunity to stay at an onsen hotel, and I must say, my experience was somewhat disappointing. While the hotel had many appealing features, several aspects fell short of expectations.
Firstly, the hotel's policy requiring guests to walk barefoot or in socks was problematic due to the cleanliness of the floors. The surfaces did not seem well-maintained, which detracted from the overall experience.
I was particularly let down by the private bath. The two only available tubs was filled with bleach, which was concerning and not suitable for relaxation. Additionally, there were no shower facilities provided for rinsing off before or after soaking in the onsen. This made the experience less enjoyable, as I couldn't clean myself immediately before or after enjoying the hot springs.
Furthermore, the reservation system for the private baths was poorly organized. There was no clear queue, leading to confusion and frustration among guests who were waiting their turn.
Overall, the taste of dinner and breakfast was average, but the environment and service was quite good.
Although the hotel offered many attractions and amenities, the execution left much to be desired. Overall, my stay was a case of having high expectations that were not met. I hope the hotel can improve these aspects in the future to provide a better experience for its guests."

"The hotel is near bus station. Hotel onsen is nice. Dinner is pretty good, but breakfast is mostly pickled vegetables and rice, which is very average. Biggest downside is no private bathroom. The whole hotel, only the biggest room has the private bathroom, other smaller rooms have no private bathroom. I woke up at 4 am and had to go to bathroom on the first floor, which felt pretty creepy. Anyway, if you have kids or old people who need to pee often, I won’t recommend it. And no elevator in hotel either. Good luck carry suitcase upstairs . "
"A 20-minute drive away from Shirakawa-go, the hotel facilities and services are okay, that is, there is no separate toilet in the room, only public toilets, there is a small hot spring bath, breakfast is very rich, and there is a Gassho in the opposite house."
"Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location."
"The view from the room is very good, there is free coffee in the lobby,
It happened that there was a show scheduled for the evening,
The hot spring outside is accompanied by snow, very beautiful, very comfortable 👍🏻
It would be better if you had hot drinks."
"One parking and two meals, including breakfast and dinner, very traditional Japanese cuisine, barbecue on the first night and Sukiyaki pot on the second night, the hotel also has a natural outdoor hot spring, which can relieve the fatigue of a day of skiing. The Yiliye Ski Resort is great. The hotel is only two minutes away from the ski area, which is very convenient."
"At first, we couldn't find the accommodation because the snow blocked the entrance. We got experience in climbing the snow to get to the accommodation. The owner is very cute and provides excellent service. I am very impressed. I would recommend it."
