"It was very clean and very beautiful !! I arrived in the middle of the night, but they welcomed me very warmly ☆ *:. 。. o (≧▽≦) o. 。.: * ☆
It was a night stay, but there was self coffee and it was delicious ☆
The rooms are easy to use and all the amenities are available, which was helpful. I wanted to stay when I came nearby again!
thank you."
"Although it is countryside, it is very close to the train station. About 2 minutes of walking. Front desk staff members were helpful to accommodate the room request. The bathroom in the room was quite clean. However, the shampoo and body soap in the room was low quality. But luckily you can go to the entrance area to pick up another variety of soap and shampoo. I appreciated that they had DHC skin care set in case you didn't bring it with you.
There is a convenience store across from the hotel. So I was thankful for that. Otherwise, there is a bakery and an izakaya and that is it. 🙂"

"A simple hotel. I was in a smoking room that they had cleaned but there was a lingering smell. There is a communal bath but not for men. The dinner was a fixed menu whilst helping yourself to rice and miso soup. Breakfast was some sandwiches you collect from reception"
Business Hotel Tokiwa is located in Tsuchiura and about a 5-minute walk from JR Tsuchiura Station, near Ushiku Great Buddha and Tsukuba University. Free WiFi is available in each guest room. Guests may borrow conveniences such as irons and humidifiers for free (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facilities include a communal bath. The hotel also has a coin laundry. The hotel possesses 31 rooms.
"The hotel is very tidy and clean. The rooms are small but very complete. There is a coffee and green tea machine which is very considerate. The bath is not big but not many people use it. The water temperature is just right. Unfortunately, there is no parking lot, and no parking instructions are provided to guests."
"The hotel is old overall, but I didn't feel it was smelly or not clean enough, so I gave it a 3.
The amenities in the room are minimal, but you can choose shampoo, hair dryer, curling iron, etc. at the front desk and take them with you.
There isn't a lot of variety, so it seems better for women to bring their own. It's a bit greedy, but I think it's reasonable considering the cost.
You can drink one drink from the drink bar when you stay. Breakfast is included (I checked out before I had time to have it).
If you're coming by car, be careful.
Even if you specify that you will be using the parking lot when you make a reservation, it is not guaranteed, and you will be guided to a nearby paid parking lot on a first-come, first-served basis (400 yen per day at your own expense).
The areas with cones are reserved for those who have already checked in for temporary use.
It depends on the time of year, but if you plan to check in later, you should basically expect to use the paid parking lot at your own expense."
"Convenient transportation, just inside the station, you can see it directly after leaving the station. The room is clean and tidy, the decoration style is young and stylish, the front desk has a large lounge area, and the coffee is delicious."
