100 words is too short to describe the most ethereal and incredible experience we had at The Wilderness. Nestled amidst the woods, mountains, apple and cherry plantation, The Wilderness is a slice of heaven. The owners, Rajesh ji and his daughter Zoya are perhaps the best host we've ever come across. The rooms are sparkling clean. Tasty and homely food. Extremely warm staff. The view from the property is breathtaking. Their hospitality, eye for detail for every guest will stay with us forever. And the best part was the two furry friends we met at The Wilderness - Maggi & Tanana, who simply stole our heart ❤️ Will visit again

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Prestige Shimla, and I must say, it was a great experience. From the breathtaking views of the city to the top-notch service, every aspect of my stay was simply delightful. Mostly liked : Location Mall Road - 5 minutes, Christ Church-10 minutes, and the Jakhoo Temple-1 hour. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city, with easy access to shopping, dining, and sightseeing.: 5* Services: services of cleaning and dining are up to the mark : 5* Food: food is very good: 5* cost of accommodation and food is pocket friendly Room: (Super deluxe with city view) room is bit smaller in size but perfect for couple. bathroom is clean and 24*7 hot water facility. my overall experience : 5* comfortable and budget friendly

It was great. I booked a mountain view room, room was small but pretty good, view was spectacular. I booked it for one day and then extended for another day. Room service was quick and food was also decent. Main advantage is it's so close to the ridge and mall road. You have to park your vehicles somewhere else though since they don't have any parking. I would suggest you guys to park your vehicle at lift parking. Take the lift to mall and then just a small walk upto the hotel.

The brand name is entirely contributed by the ultimate in hospitality, care and affection. I travelled with my 81 year old father. Ms Srivastava & her team at the Cecil provided us a thoughtful upgrade to a premier valley suite from a room with a great view and elderly friendly amenities that really touched my heart. The warm welcome, the friendly presence and support of all staff at all hours, the fact that i could leave my father in the care of the hotel staff while I walked down the city, a very thoughtful itinerary of travel taking care of my father's needs, everything collated to make this a very memorable experience. Let me say that i will remember Shimla very well not only because of the heritage buildings and the nature walks but also because of Oberoi Cecil and the support it provided me in walking the thin line of providiing a senior citizen with a great experience. Thank you!

Wanted to go to Wildflower one last time before this iconic property is perhaps shut down or transferred over to another brand due to a lease dispute with the govt. I don't know what the dispute is regarding, but it would be a crime to take this this beautiful property away from Oberoi. (Note to any new brand that takes over Wildflower-- you have very large shoes to fill). If you have never been here, go before it's too late. Service is obviously top notch. I didn't hear a 'no' the entire trip. Working here must be bloody hard without a 'no' in the vocabulary. I went in november and the weather was perfect. If you enjoy cold crisp weather, I would recommend going in the winter. If you stay in a suite, there are some with a good view and others with a mediocre view. Suites are large with a fireplace but no balcony. If you are just a couple, I would skip the suite and choose balcony room (they only have 4). The balcony room is small but sitting out in the balcony at night with a bonfire is amazing. This is a place to go to relax, take in the views and fresh air. It's a place to regret living in a polluted city and reflect on your decisions to stay away from nature. Make sure you don't miss the guided trail walk.

A last minute plan turned out to be the best plan in the recent times!!!Starting with the booking assistance provided by Mr Dinesh Kumar who gave us a pretty good value for our rooms with breakfast and an amazing view to the hospitality of each and every staff member who catered to our every need with a smile on their face..To summarise our experience I would say it’s a perfect gateway resort if one wants to be away from the crowded area of Kufri as the resort is located around 7 KMs ahead of Kufri on the Kufri-Chail highway!!

GGuest UserThe best place in Theog , away from the Maddening and crumbling Shimla. Great Value for money . Excellent staff. Outstanding food and staff in the resturant led by Mr. Mohan who was phenomenal. The chef and his team are brilliant and give u a sense of being at home. they also help you in getting good ,clean transport at nominal rates for sightseeing nearby. The entire resort bathes in nice sun which makes it bright given the cold weather.the view is nice given the location.
