"Property location is very convenient. Food was very good but room service was not upto the mark. Time taken for room service require improvements.
Amenities were worth the money one is charged.
Reception staff were cordial, helpful and accommodative to the request made.
Over all good hotel for the price charged and would recommend and prefer to stay in this very hotel on my next visit to the Chennai. Excellent location, very good amenities, food is good but room service require improvement.

"Good location of the hotel. Excellent vegetarian food. Service is very good. They employ a number of differently abled persons. I admire this humane attitude of the management. Rooms are good. A little bit of refurbishing of the bathrooms would make this even more attractive. Overall i would like to use this hotel for my future visits to chennai. Strongly reccommond this hotel which is also a great value for money."

"I had a comfortable and pleasant stay at the property. The rooms were clean and moderately -maintained, with all basic amenities provided. The staff was courteous and always ready to assist with a smile. The location felt safe, and security arrangements were in place, which added to the overall sense of comfort. One suggestion would be to improve the Wi-Fi speed and include more local dishes in the menu. Overall, a decent value-for-money experience, and I would definitely recommend it to others"

"The room was neat and clean, and provided with all basic toilet items and running hot water. Centrally located, very close to egmore station & metro and 10 minutes away from chennai central rely stn. Surprisingly, the central ac was like so very effective, that i had to switch it off! the reception staff were also good snd courteous."

WwannaHotel looks lovely and on the surface seems like a high quality hotel. But the service was seriously shambolic. They didn't provide hand towels in the room, we had to ask several times for them before they finally appeared. The breakfast was bizarre - noone manning the coffee station but you weren't allowed to serve yourself (it was just a push button machine). No decaffeinated tea or coffee. It took ages to receive the love station food even though the breakfast room wasn't even 1/4 full as we were very early. They agreed to book us a taxi but on reconfirmation they had no record of it, so they tried to persuade us to instead use the hotel charter vehicle for 4x the price! It's a shame, for the price we expected better service and less chaos.

VVictorYetiDisappointing Experience with the In-House Nightclub
Overall, my stay at this hotel was good, but my experience with their in-house nightclub left a lot to be desired. When I tried to enter, I was abruptly informed that it was ”couples only”—a policy that was not mentioned anywhere on their website when I booked. If the nightclub is advertised as part of the hotel’s amenities, it should be clearly stated that solo male travelers are not welcome.
To make matters worse, the staff at the entrance were extremely rude. They asked me to move aside so a couple—who weren’t even hotel guests—could enter, while simultaneously demanding an absurd 10,000 INR entry fee from me. I’ve been to some of the top clubs around the world and have never paid even half that amount for entry.
When I raised my concerns with the front desk, the response was dismissive. One of the staff members simply said, ”Stags are not allowed.” I found the term both unprofessional and unnecessary. This lack of hospitality and fairness was disappointing enough that I’ve advised my friends—who had upcoming reservations—to cancel their stay.
If you're looking for a more premium and welcoming experience, I’d strongly recommend Leela Palace instead.

MMalik_ExplorerThe hotel is actually getting outdated with boring interior with fading colors and stripping off hard materials, they should do something about getting rid of birds that pooping on windows and unpleasant views. Exterior obviously can see lots of cracks all over building. Fayaz the front desk guy check in dunno how to smile when welcoming customers. You are saying it’s luxury collection hotel but something you have to work on it. Otherwise competitor will take over.

GGuest UserThe booking was done for Kings Bed and Breakfast for two. I was given a Queens Bed room and denied breakfast until I showed the booking confirmation from Trip. The room was an interconnected one that there was no study table and even a whisper could be heard. Someone was snoring away to glory on 17th night that we couldnt sleep properly, which prompted me for a change of room. They gave me 314 room no. which again was a queens bed. upon enquiry the hotel staff Benison told me that all their rooms are only Queens bed. I feel that Trip.com cheated me with false information. I plan to file a complaint with the consumer court seeking remedy. This is not done.

MMir69Staff at the reception are nice and friendly, crews and bellboys helps with your stuff. However, got harassed by one staff at the bar. We were being forced to leave where we are seated to a sofa near the bar and embarrassed my friends while we are waiting for the coffee we ordered at the bar. Tirelessly, even to the point of heated argument he never stopped until I made myself clear that I am going to report him. I had been a guest for this hotel since 2019 and unfortunately treated like this. This staff must be removed for inappropriate action.

YYsan31Ibis is really a nice place to stay. The location is in the city center where you have all easy access to wherever you want to go. The transportation system in the area is very friendly. You can get a toktok motorcycle to bring you anywhere you want to sight seeing.
