One night in the small town of Rugby was quite chill. The hotel is relatively premium in the local area, with small fountains and lawns. It takes about 18 pounds to take a taxi from Rugby Railway Station, and there is no public transportation. The lady at the front desk is not enthusiastic, but she is quite decent. The request to extend the check-out by two hours was agreed. The hotel is relatively large with long corridors. The room is relatively spacious, clean and comfortable, and the bathroom decoration is clean and modern (because many hotels in the UK are relatively old facilities, this one looks good) Breakfast is served in a traditional English style from 6 to 10 o'clock, but we don't have much food left at 9:30, so try to have breakfast as early as possible. Many parents and children stay here, it is lively, but the sound insulation is good so you won't be disturbed. Generally speaking, it is good. It is too late to experience the gym and swimming pool. It is worth a short stay to experience the tranquility of the countryside.

We stayed in a junior suite, which was lovely and big, including a double shower. Lovely and clean with plenty of refreshments. The reception team was very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was very nice and clean with plenty of choices in the evenings and breakfast. The two people who stood out for us were Phoenix and Millie. They were very friendly and helpful in serving us. Excellent customer service at every point. Thank you both for making our time special.

Very comfortable Stopover. This is a basic fairly dated motel but we had a friendly welcome. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We didn’t dine here but breakfast started with a friendly welcome, good food selection with everything nicely cooked (hubby’s full English) as well as a good continental choice. I personally would have liked plain yogurt and muesli but I was very happy with what I had. Staff efficient and friendly and the chef knows how to poach an egg; bonus!

Fantastic value for money. The room was beautifully decorated and the bathroom new and fresh too. Food was also excellent value and the pub quiz on Thursday was fantastic. Staff all friendly, welcoming and chatty. Couldn’t do enough for you. Would definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at this hotel for my wedding. While the stay itself was not terrible, there were certain aspects that left much to be desired. Accommodation: The pillows were uncomfortable and did not provide a good night's sleep. Service: Breakfast Experience: I went down for breakfast on Friday around 9:40 AM. The hot breakfast items were nearly empty. Despite asking the staff to refill them, they never did, and everything was cleared promptly at 10:00 AM. I had requested eggs well before breakfast ended, but they were never served. The server at the time, a young African lady, seemed unresponsive to our requests. Front Desk Service: There was an issue with the night receptionist, an Asian male, who lacked basic customer service skills. For instance: A day receptionist had assured me that the hotel could arrange towel swans and petals for my wedding, even confirming that she would forward the request to the next shift. However, the night receptionist dismissed my request, claiming the hotel did not provide such a service and even suggested I go out and buy flowers myself. Fortunately, when the earlier receptionist, Abby (If i am not wrong), returned, she confirmed that this service is indeed provided and took care of the arrangement. Abby’s professionalism and helpful attitude stood out and truly enhanced our experience. Conclusion: The stay had its ups and downs. While there were some glaring service issues, Abby’s excellent service deserves commendation. Training in customer service for some staff members, especially those at the front desk, could significantly improve guest experiences.
