Best Gatwick Hotels

"The room is really small. I would say it is only suitable for one person. It is as small as you can't open your suitcase throughout the whole time in the room. You need to climb up to the bed. It does not feel that private. The window is on the door with a manual blind. And it is next to a see-through toilet. No chair is provided as there is not enough space to get a chair. You need to ask a hair dryer from the reception. Reception is available most of the time at night. Snacks and drinks are available as well. The location is tricky. The hotel is in the terminal, but there is only a lift to let you access the hotel. So, you need to go down a level from the terminal by that specific lift. Clean in general, the shower and toilet are not separate but it is a bit of distance between them."

"Clean, quiet and great sized room. A little expensive for what it is but all the Gatwick hotels seemed overpriced. Walkable to the South terminal (around 10 mins) but not easy to find the best walking route from the terminal car park when dark - some signs at the car park building may be helpful. Bar closes a little early too."

"This hotel is very close to the airport and within walking distance, people from reception are very friendly and helpful, they have a very smart check in system, very recommended if you have a overnight trip"

"Love the bath tub. The hotel is close to the airport but a bit confusing as to how to get there. Basically you need to take shuttle from S (£5) or walk from N. The walk was not far but a but of struggle for a smally figure with big luggages like me. So anyone who might not be strong enough to drag their luggages on the road, I recommend the other premier inn. Wall doesn't seem to be sound proof, I could hear kids running above me."

"Location is right next to Gatwick North Terminal. Hotel is very basic and ok for an overnight stay to catch an early morning flight, can’t expect too much. Room seems dusty and not very cleaned. The hotel gets very busy - it was a 2 hour wait for dinner, bar was very noisy and check-in reception was very crowded.  The worst part of the experience is the elevator! Very long wait from lower ground floor to go up to reception floor with long queue of many people with luggages waiting in line"

"good location and spacious room. The hotel is located within 5 minutes walking distance from Gatwick South terminal. I paid an extra £25 to get check-in in the early morning."

"Picked this hotel as it is very close to Gatwick North Terminal, only 2 minute walk away. I checked in and was first assigned a room, I walk in and it had not been cleaned at all, towels on the floor, bed not made and bottles opened on the table. I went back to reception and they were very nice and apologetic, they kindly told me that they have upgraded my room and apologised for the inconvenience. The new room which I was assigned looked very much like the room I had paid for, not sure what the upgrade was, but at least it was clean this time. In terms of the price, it’s very expensive but what the hotel lacks in cleanliness, it makes up for in location. I’ll probably save my money next time and stay at the Premier Inn across the road."

"The best option to spend the night before an early flight. The hotel entrance is literally inside the airport right next to the EasyJet check in and bag drop! It's beautiful, clean, comfortable, bed was amazing. Great breakfast and very nice staff. There's also a nice lounge area and bar that is open till late."

"Was impressed with the look, cleanliness, and staff at Raddison Red. Loved the free WiFi always a bonus. A good menu food wise even though I didn’t partake in any food this time round. My only problem was that my shower tap squirted out from all angles! Shower was still good but may have been better. Funky phones in the room and adequate info throughout"

"Great place and so close to Gatwick, with its own parking. Owners were really friendly and explained everything like how to come in and out with the door code and how we could use the kitchen or order food in and where the nearest pub was. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom neat and shower hot. We had to leave early for our flight so did not have breakfast but had a perfect one night stay there. Thank you"
